I can't claim much knowledge of classical music,I hear a piece,like it,see who composed it and nearly every time it's JS Bach,music of the gods! If reincarnation exists,who would he have been in the modern age,McCartney?

Die Sprache ist so unglaublich bildhaft, kurz und deutlich. "Das Sündenherz knirscht Buß und Reu entzwei"... In ihrem Klang unübersetzbare Worte.

Genauso wie "Der Geist hilft unsrer Schwachheit auf" aus den Motetten. Unübertrefflich.

First: Hamaris performance here is impeccable - a clear and beautiful voice. Second: I guess, if you performed with Richter, you were very much in duty of the utmost concentration - Richter put his performers and Bach to perfection.
