  • So clear and beautiful! Wow! :D

  • When was record these piece?

  • Too slow

  • I can't claim much knowledge of classical music,I hear a piece, like it,see who composed it and nearly every time it's JS Bach, music of the gods! If reincarnation exists, who would he have been in the modern age,McCartney?

  • @MrWitchtrials

Comparing McCartney to Bach is insulting Bach.

I do like the Beatles, but compared to this... no, just no.

  • Hamaris is wonderful

  • Excelent technique, excelent singing.

  • The most beautiful mezzo sound I've ever heard, great musicianship too, wow.

  • Thanks!

  • Die Sprache ist so unglaublich bildhaft, kurz und deutlich. "Das Sündenherz knirscht Buß und Reu entzwei"... In ihrem Klang unübersetzbare Worte.

Genauso wie "Der Geist hilft unsrer Schwachheit auf" aus den Motetten. Unübertrefflich.

  • Anyone has any idea when was this recorded?

  • I just wish she would blink every once in a while- even just once or twice.

  • after the bankrobbery he is giving back a lot.... must be worth it....

  • Please enlighten the rest of the individuals!

I would be grateful, yours faithfully,

    Kultur-Barbarin.

  • ... and the flute player on the right looks as though he's just robbed a bank.

  • This comment made my day.

    :)

  • Hehe, you have read my thought :) The flute player left is also quite suspicious...

But, speaking seriously, the whole performance is great.

  • Yes, you're right. Goodness gracious!

    ;)

... and I certainly agree about the serious part of your comment podkivanok :)

  • lol

  • The concentration in Hamari's eyes is almost scary.

  • First: Hamaris performance here is impeccable - a clear and beautiful voice. Second: I guess, if you performed with Richter, you were very much in duty of the utmost concentration - Richter put his performers and Bach to perfection.

  • I agree but ii don't really think Bach needs someone to put him to perfection :)

  • Quite right you are!

I meant: Richter put his performers and the performance of Bach to perfection.

  • @cocochanelleke is it concentration or maybe the way she acts?

  • @UtochkinaKaterina

you may be right with the latter, thanks for your answer

    :)

  • My favorite part from Matthaus-Passion. =)

  • mooie stem, maar liever met originle instrumenten!

  • wonderful version

  • It sounds okay but i prefer a baroque ochestra

    greetings from germany
