I think this was one of the animation testers maybe? They could have used a mod for it. The map is one I have played on but it's not lighted so this could have been a primitive version of the game or a mod maybe?

Yes This is indeed BF2142. The actual name of the Mech is the European Union L5-Riesig. The enemy (The Pan Asian Coalition) will have a similar mech at its disposal. The game will be available for the PC and is expected to come out around October 2006

yes it'll be called battlefield 2142. what you see is an in-house tech demo of a level based in russia which is simply demonstrating some of the new vehicles. there are other demo's demonstrating the players' weapons.

it uses a newer upgraded version of the battlefield2 engine by the way.
