the best and only way now to really tell fakes from the genuine ones are to check the little chrome piece on the earphone where the red wire is comming out of as on the fakes this is actually plastic thats been painted chrome when they should be metal. dont take notice of the serial number or nothing else as the fakes now also have all this. check my vis if you wanna find out more. their ase also fake studious and gaga but no fake solo atm. laterz

i have the beats and bose qc3s. i love them both but i would probably say i like the boses better just because the overall sound quality is a little bit better. but if you prefer more bass i would get the beats.
i have beats by dr. dre. they are studios, yes they were exspensive, they have great sound, and plus with the studios, you can hook the headphones to the equipment, or use them for and iphone or ipod. Plus these headphones look cool.

Senns for life man. I auditioned the Beat's by Dr Dre and they sound GOOD. Now my Sennheisers are a cut above the Beats. Just overall sound quality and that Natural uncolored sound that Audiophiles love so much is what makes the difference. The Beats are clear but they don't sing to me like the Sennheisers do. People that complain about the price of these, have never owned a good quality pair of head phones. After two years of use, my bose in ear buds finally gave out on me which forced me to revert back to the stock apple buds. The sound quality difference is amazing. Will be getting the "tour" version of these ASAP. Spend the extra money, and get a quality headset, you won't be disappointed.

I was skeptical at first (I was the same way with the Bose Quiet Comforts) but these are very good headphones. Better than my Bose QCs. Punchy Bass & Clear Highs although the mids get lost a tiny bit. The noise cancellation is comparable to the Bose QCs. And yes, they are huge but try and get earlobe vibrating bass from earbuds.
Don't knock them till you test them out at an Apple Store near you.
noise cancelation technology my ass, they just wrap around your ear. That's what makes them quiet. I listened to them today at the apple store on my iPhone, not worth the money. iPods + MP3's are not a good quality source to begin with.IMFAO
Yeah maybe the noise cancelation was off. But I have an old set of Koss headphones that sound just as good, wraps around your ears to block outside noise and enhance bass and they only cost $80. The worst part with the Beats is you always need batteries, I think it's because ipods just can't give them the power they need.

I had received these today as a birthday present because I make beats and sometimes go in the booth to rap. The sound is great. The bass really be thumpin. They sound like car speakers. The only problem that I have wit it is that when you put them on you look a little silly. These are great but $350 is a little pricey. I would recommend this to those who like quality headphones and who are willing to pay the price$

I was skeptical at first (I was the same way with the Bose Quiet Comforts) but these are very good headphones. Better than my Bose QCs. Punchy Bass & Clear Highs although the mids get lost a tiny bit. The noise cancellation is comparable to the Bose QCs. And yes, they are huge but try and get earlobe vibrating bass from earbuds.
Don't knock them till you test them out at an Apple Store near you.

noise cancelation technology my ass, they just wrap around your ear. That's what makes them quiet. I listened to them today at the apple store on my iPhone, not worth the money. iPods + MP3's are not a good quality source to begin with.IMFAO

Yeah maybe the noise cancelation was off. But I have an old set of Koss headphones that sound just as good, wraps around your ears to block outside noise and enhance bass and they only cost $80. The worst part with the Beats is you always need batteries, I think it's because ipods just can't give them the power they need.

well said. go buy if you got the money, you will not regret it. they bang so hard, sound great on the head, i have the bose competition next to these, the QC3's as stated above, they dont compare unless your listening to classical music..which then you should know not to buy beats by DR. DRE (rap/hip hop artist)
cons:battery cover/takes 2 AAA batteries, but use energizer e² lithiums they'll last much longer

but your also into boys man, the QC3's arent much anything next to the new Beats by Dre, and im not just saying that because i have the Beats myself, i own a pair of the QC3's as well. i was given them free on a business class flight to europe. they do have great sound dont get me wrong, but the noise cancellation is far more superior on with the beats, i do like the rechargable battery on the boses tho. Beats bang harder with crisp DEEP bass, bose feel and look cheap next to beats for $350 each

QC3s dont compare in any aspect really dude you have a rechargable battery, sweet. one more thing for you to do, CHARGE your headphones. fact of the matter is, they dont sound anywhere near the beats, and they arent nearly as good at cancelling all noise out. you can hear conversations outside of your music. nope, not gay i hate gay kids like you. i prefer multiple girls, get money.

I had received these today as a birthday present because I make beats and sometimes go in the booth to rap. The sound is great. The bass really be thumpin. They sound like car speakers. The only problem that I have wit it is that when you put them on you look a little silly. These are great but $350 is a little pricey. I would recommend this to those who like quality headphones and who are willing to pay the price$

Instead of bashing a product none of you have heard, why don't you just have a listen to them? They are outstanding and i have heard headphones between £800 - £1000 that perform to this level. I don't think these are expensive for the sound quality.
