Lenin was originally written for their first album Funeral, but just didn't fit in with it so they tossed it aside. But the lovely Arcade Fire were nice enough to put this on here. (:
It was one of two AFire tracks that exist but haven't been heard. The other is a song called Milk And Honey.

why did it get cut out? to me thins sounds like the perfect transition between the EP and Funeral, sounds perfectly right between them

very new.
read the story on dark was the night. it's a collaboration of 31 songs (indie artists wrote 1 or 2 each), and it was published to support aids and hiv awareness. i just ordered it on amazon - very excited for it to arrive.
