Too bad he and Goss never saw eye-to-eye after the first album... the original lineup was their best incarnation... but I'm biased... I used sneak into the local club in Syracuse when I was highschool to watch these guys shred live well before they got signed and the first album came out... I remember they opened for the Smithereens and blew them off the freaking stage...

i still want to see the little hidden track from the first album put up on the tube. its a little ditty on guitar and banjo. the tune is when the saints go marching in, but all mastered up. it is NOT 'the anchor" and it DOES exist.

@foleystephen abso-fucking-lutely! no offense to zeppelin, cream, sabbath (!) or anyone else, but the first one is so damn good it makes my teeth hurt. i found their first album by mistake at a goodwill store (nice irony) it was a hand labeled cassette case thta said master of reality. i was pissed for about 10 seconds. then i felt like i had been given a gift. wore it out in about a month. 2 years went by before i found another, and it was sunrise. this was pre internet.
