Frank Gore is so underrated. He's one of the best backs in the league but doesn't get any recognition despite being one of 2 players on the 9ers offense that actually produces (the other being Vernon Davis). And he seems to be a humble guy, unlike Peterson or Chris Johnson, who just seem like assholes.

Nate Davis wont be ready for another 2 or 3 years. I could be wrong, but i'm excited about going foward with Alex Smith into next season. Smith will get all the work in Spring camps, OTA's, training camp, and the receivers will all be in sync and get 6 months of work, TOGETHER. The chemistry will be great next year w/ Smith, Davis, Morgan, Crabtree, J Hill, and a healthy Brandon Jones. We should keep Roman b/c of his work on special teams and he can fill both safety spots if someone gets hurt.
I agree completely with Alex Smith moving forward, but had to point out Davis looking intruiging. Roman's contributions on SP teams is all he's good for, period. He can't cover, and is weak against the run. Dashan looks real good. Don't see the Niners making any repeat mistakes, that cost em all year. Frank Gore is so underrated. He's one of the best backs in the league but doesn't get any recognition despite being one of 2 players on the 9ers offense that actually produces (the other being Vernon Davis). And he seems to be a humble guy, unlike Peterson or Chris Johnson, who just seem like assholes.

yeah, we need some athletic 3-4 d ends, ray mcdonald is very athletic, justin smith is just a good football player, but we need some speed there, look at kiesel and smith on the steelers, they always pressure the qb and contain the run, i mean they dont get sacks but they are the motors of that defense, when smith got hurt there defense fell apart, well see though, i think our team is fine, our o just needs more time together to jell

i think our 3-4 is perfect, with ahmad brooks coming into the mix along with manny lawson, patrick willis and takeo spikes, you're looking at the BEST linebacking core in the NFL. add in abrueyo franklin, justin smith and you have a scary front 7. if we can get either taylor mays or eric berry, and with a healthy nate clements we have the talent to be a top defense in the NFL!

Nate Davis wont be ready for another 2 or 3 years. I could be wrong, but i'm excited about going foward with Alex Smith into next season. Smith will get all the work in Spring camps, OTA's, training camp, and the receivers will all be in sync and get 6 months of work, TOGETHER. The chemistry will be great next year w/ Smith, Davis, Morgan, Crabtree, J Hill, and a healthy Brandon Jones. We should keep Roman b/c of his work on special teams and he can fill both safety spots if someone gets hurt.

I agree completely with Alex Smith moving forward, but had to point out Davis looking intruiging. Roman's contributions on SP teams is all he's good for, period. He can't cover, and is weak against the run. Dashan looks real good. Don't see the Niners making any repeat mistakes, that cost em all year. A RT, DB, and getting the timing down,- now that its all out on the table.

yeah i agree about nate davis. He has a lot of physical tools for the nfl and hes really mobile for a big guy with a cannon arm. The only thing alex smith is lacking is his self-confidence. It seems some fans have more confidence and alex than he does in himself. Alex has the tools and the skills, but he seems to be missing that fiery leadership. I agree on goldson, and the fact that we should have a great year next year. We shot ourselves in the foot so many times this year and beat ourselves

i dont know about that. First of all, if we went safety 1st round, eric berry is the obvious choice over Taylor Mays. Mays is good, but Berry is much better. But i really dont see us going safety w/ our 1st pick anyways. And yeah, we desperately need help w/ our o-line. Some high draft picks there will hopefully help us out.

yeah i like your choices. The only problem is, we have two first round picks and we need O-Line help most, but all good o-linemen go in the top 10 usually. We mainly need a right tackle. Although i think our best option is to keep our o-line that we have today, (except for right tackle) because we need continuity. Our o-line has actually played pretty well at times, especially since the green bay game. So do you think we should keep the continuity? Rachal and Baas have looked great last 2 games

Why Frank Gore doesn't get big ups from NFL fans, annalysts etc.; I dont know? The big talk in the game against the Titans was Chris Johnson. He was really awsome (fast!), but Gore put up more yards/carry. 5.5 vs. 5.4. Check it out yourself. Why? Watch the film. Yes Johnson is faster, but Gore has quicker cuts, and is much more natural at finding holes. I get sick of hearing people talk about other RB's like their better. Total yards don't really mean shit.
