@kazooga1234 Um no that is not accurate. The 70's saw the highest interest rate in the last 50 years. (In excess of 20%) this was due to carter brilliat economic policies. The economic growth in the 80's and 90's trumps the 60's and 70's by an order of magnitude or so.

The sad part was in the entire state of Nevada there was maybe a dozen or so people that could not defeat Harry Reid this year. What does the GOP do? Nominate a space cadet that was such a poor candidate that Harry was able to defeat her. The GOP tossed this election right down the drain. There are times I think it would be better to go back to the old political boss system of politics and make the deal in a smoke filled room.
