How can Ms patent word using xml when xml it self is an open source tool. Isn't that illegal?

i think thats his point, MS problably has some werid tecnic to get sued but still win from it.

Here in europe MS and Intel (but mostly MS) are getting huge fees i think last MS fee was like 1.5 billion dollars or somthing thats not much for them but is somthing
