Also the 335i can kill an s5. If you don't believe me look it up. 335i has 350hp and 310torque. its an under rated engine.

Both the 335 and S5 are fine cars. 6/100 of a second on a race track is even in the real world and the race was done by a professional driver. I have always been an Audi fan and this new A5/S5 is a beautiful car.

I recently did a side-by-side comparison with the 335xi and the S5 for one of my clients. After 2 hours of driving, both of us were convinced that the only people who would get the BMW were ones that couldnt afford the extra $6k for a far superior car. His S5 new is Meteor Gray on Red. :-)

Except the S5 puts the 3 series to shame. Side to side, the gaps on the Audis are so tight they are almost non-existent. One the 3 series, you'd think that the panels were seperating.

the price gap and weight gap of the audi is enough to justify the 3 series any day, i think. Ill give it props though, the car is absolutely gorgeous, the headlights are a little too complicated for my taste, the rest of the car is sexy as hell. still wouldnt trade my 335 for it.

Puts it to shame eh? I think the shame is a V8 (WITH all wheel drive) that cant outrun a 50-less-HP 6 cyl, low- to mid-teens MPG, and a price tag about 10k too high. Its easy to imagine the 3 not even glancing twice at the Audi; it'll retain the throne easily.

Can't outrun the 335? Every review that I've seen puts the S5 a half second faster than the 335. The 335 is a good car and great value but I would still take the S5 because I think the price difference of $3-5k is justified because of its equipment level and many other features that you get besides "just" speed.

Quit with that review. It's the only race on tape and its 6/100ths of a second - NOTHING. My 335 is $48.5K and the S5 is $50.5k which is only 2000.00 and comes with a better interior, more bhp, AWD, etc.
