  • this is different from the Salve Regina I am used to . Without getting disrespectful , theone featured in "Sister Act' (movie.

  • Mater Dei, I love you!

  • Such a wonderful hymn. God bless you Francis! :)

  • Hail Mary, full of grace, the lord is with thee.

  • HEIL MARY.

There is NO SUCH THING as clerical child abuse, it is ALL LIES.

No Priest of the Church has ever done any wrong in the eyes of Our Lady!

    Up the IRA

  • @VATICANVEVO dude, what the fuck is your problem? get a life and stop trolling.

  • @sgsmith1616 upa RA! you Brit Hun bastard

  • @VATICANVEVO First off, I'm a grammar nerd so I'm going to say this and get it out of my system. It's hail, not heil. I'd rather avoid being called a Nazi. ;)

    Now then.

Priests, sisters, monks, etc. are human just like the rest of us. They sin, they make mistakes, they need forgiveness. Yes, the secular media has blown the scandals of a small percentage of priests way out of proportion, but that doesn't give us the go-ahead to say that our religious are sinless.

    Just so you know. ^-^

  • Hail Jesus!

  • Pray for us O Holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ

  • I need to get back to church...

  • Who did the painting at 1.30?

  • How do I find Peggy K

  • Could you please let me know who is singing this Salve Regina

    Thank you

  • SERVITE CREDO!!

  • We used to sing this every after Rosary when I was in High School! thanks for posting this. Love it :)

  • @DiamondMined awesome!!!

  • No Mary, No Jesus. Know Mary, Know Jesus. You will always be my sweet Mother Mary :)

  • @remonramos What kind of Logic is that? No Abraham, No Jesus. No David, No Jesus. I don't need to know anything but JESUS.

  • @Cherubaby ohhh a Non Catholic. God Bless you. :)

  • @Cherubaby The Father willed His Son to be born through the Virgin Mary who was overshadowed by the Holy Spirit so she could receive her Divine Son. She is the 2nd Eve, but obeyed God instead, as Jesus was the 2nd Adam that obeyed the Father and broke sin's bonds. Mary got Jesus to work His first miracle, even though He said "it is not My time", but He did it to show Mary's powerful intercession with Him who is our Mediator with the Father.

  • @FRAGIORGIO1 You are Right and I was Wrong. I am sorry for what I wrote, been to Confession, and hope to attain and remain in full unity with the Roman Catholic Church. Keep up the Good Work! GOD Bless you.

  • @Cherubaby God bless you, brother! Praise God! I'm a convert from when I was 19, and I'm 75 now. Thank God always, because gratitude is one of the greatest things we can have towards God and people. Keep me in your prayers.

  • @FRAGIORGIO1 GOD Bless you for keeping the Faith! Never be swayed by clever Protestant arguments. We Catholics know we have the Truth, consistent for 2,000 years. Protestants are divided are against themselves 35,000 times! And Scripture says a house divided against itself will NOT stand. GOD Bless you.

  • @Cherubaby Thank you, and God bless you and yours. Jesus prayed for us Christians to be one, and most honest people desire and pray for that, even if we don't know what to do humanely, except to be good, faithful, loving servants of God and of humanity. There are a few ferocious sectarians, not representative of the majority, and we really need to pray for them, because with all their attacks, lies, and hatred, it only gives joy to the enemies of Christ.

  • @FRAGIORGIO1 I used to be a "Cafeteria Catholic", not on Moral issues but believe it or not, on the Dogmas of the Holy Virgin Mary. I did not believe she was immaculate or ever-virgin until I recently subscribed to CatholicTV and listened to their sermons on BVM. Wow, they had things I had never heard before and they made perfect sense! I didn't realise what a great blasphemer I was by denying these Truths! But praise GOD He lead me to the fullness of Truth and I will never leave again.

  • @FRAGIORGIO1 Protestants are by nature Vicious and some of them downright Ruthless. They are "sons of rebellion" who like Lucifer, cannot submit to anything other than themselves. Protestantism is a "choose what I like" Religion. If they don't like something they will leave and start their own churches, and that's how the Reformation started as you well know.

  • I love you and I call you my Mother

  • I love this video. Great job! :)

  • David made his mother Queen while he was still King...why would Jesus not do the same for His mother with His kingdom?

  • @gilyat i agree mate, but who is arguing, im merly getting a different viewpoint.

    jesus is lord.

    god bless

  • @999Thip Gosh just seen this! a year later! I am not a Roman Catho;lic so I don't know. Who said that Catholics don't like using the name of Jesus? I don't understand that. All the Catholic friends I have or know ,of course refer to the Lord as Jesus. Which Christian faith does not? I know of none

  • @gilyat just take note when you talk to a catholic, its clear they talk about the church, and the catholic faith, when it comes to their salvation.,

when jesus is clearly the only way to salvation.

  • @999Thip Jesus is the Only Way to Salvation, and He founded His Church on Shimon bar Yona changing his name to Kepha (=Rock in Aramaic, Jesus' language) which was translated as "Petros" in Greek since "petra" (rock in Greek) is feminine. Jesus gave Peter the power of binding and loosing on earth that would be ratified in heaven! He told his 12 to Teach All nations and that He would be with them until the end of time (Mt 28: 17-20). He prayed to the Father for Unity of all believers.

  • @FRAGIORGIO1 you seem to be doing your homowork brother, but this catholic church of today is not the church of peter.

these men were born again believers..

they knew their were saved by grace, and not by works like the catholics of today..

    its alot different .

  • @999Thip There is only One Church of Peter, because Jesus promised it Authority, Unity, and Permanence with His presence. To deny that would be to blaspheme. The Catholic Church teaches that we are saved by Faith, but that we must do the will (works) of the Father, as Jesus said. There was an agreement made between Catholics and Lutherans on Salvation by Faith. James is also very clear that Faith without Works is dead. The works are those of the Father, not the Law of Moses.

  • @FRAGIORGIO1

FRAGIORGIO1 DEFECATES ALL OVER HIMSELF, "There is only One Church of Peter,.."

    >Wow, this dropped my jaw and nearly made me speechless. So the ecclesia of Christ is now the " One Church of Peter"?!?! I must tell you this is a first for me. You now have completely lost all credibility.

"and upon this rock" ... - Jesus said, upon this rock, this truth that thou hast confessed, that I am the Messiah and upon confessions of this from all believers, I will build my church.

  • @SpencerBenedict2nd This person always almost always uses vulgarity to show how "Christian" he is! Jesus founded His Church on Shimon bar Yona whom He renamed Rock (Kepha in Aramaic, translated into Greek as Petros from feminine "petra"). So Peter is the Rock on earth to unite believers just as Jesus is the Foundation Rock of Faith in Heaven. That is why Simon was called Petros ever afterwards and is listed as the first among the apostles in the lists of the Gospels.

  • @FRAGIORGIO1

FRAGIORGIO1 SPEWS, "This person always almost always uses vulgarity to show how "Christian" he is!"

    >Whatever, Mr. #753 FRAGIORGIO1. You're such an idiot, not to mention hypocrite.

The Papal church insists that Peter is the rock upon which Christ founded his church. The Catholic view is untenable, for every saint is a stone (1 Pe 2:5). The Lord declares that Peter is one these living stones, made such by his confession of faith. So is every confessor of Christ, a "living stone".

  • @FRAGIORGIO1

FRAGIORGIO1 DECEPTION, "He founded His Church on Shimon bar Yona changing his name to Kepha..."

    >The rock that Christ founded his ecclesia on was Peter's confession that Christ is the Son of God.

Jesus Christ is called a rock, Isaiah 28:16; 1 Peter 2:8. And so, he turned from Peter to himself, and said, "Upon this rock, this truth that I am the Messiah - upon myself as the Messiah, I will build my church."

Boy you catholics are presumptuous and plain dumb.

  • @SpencerBenedict2nd FALSE, as usual. I already said that Jesus is the Base Rock of Faith in heaven, but He left a man with his name changed to Rock (Kepha/Petros) because like Jacob/Israel he had a new mission and destiny from Jesus to be the Rock of faith on earth. Since He changed Simon's name to Rock, it is Obvious that Jesus is referring to Simon Peter. Notice how Spency changes the translation radically to fit his agenda of Falsehood following his father of lies.

  • @FRAGIORGIO1 What is this to the pope of Rome, who is no successor of Peter's? Peter, as an apostle, had no successor in his office; nor was he bishop of Rome; nor has the pope of Rome either his office, or his doctrine: but here, by the rock, is meant, the confession of faith made by Peter; the prime article of Christianity.

So, the supremacy of Peter, and the infallibility of the Church of Rome, must be sought in some other scripture, for they certainly are not to be found in this, silly.

  • @SpencerBenedict2nd Well Peter was given the Keys of the Kingdom of Key to loosen and to bind ... so how do you explain that one? WHO has the Keys of the Kingdom Today?

  • @Cherubaby I have noticed your partaking and teaming up in Hegelian Dialectic correspondence with fellow jesuit coadjutors on the YouTube social engineering network. Controlling both sides of a paradigm, a jesuitical tactic most used to bring about a desired synthesis. So why ask me questions you already know the truth to, but work to hide, destroy and bury?

Christ holds the key to his Father's Kingdom today and for all time. And God's Word holds the path to your salvation. Not some institution

  • @SpencerBenedict2nd You have been reading too many Ellen White fantasy novels!

  • HAIL MARY FULL OF GRACE

  • @bolanrules you did not finish it,

ill help you.. oh yee of little knowledge..

    your welcome.

  • @999Thip "bolanrules" is simply reciting the first words of the angel Gabriel as in Luke, with the insertion of Mary''s name.

  • @FRAGIORGIO1 have you ever heard of jesus,

did you know he died for you, and took the sins of the world on himself..

i wonder if you know that jesus is lord,

    jesus is lord

    jesus

  • @999Thip I know Jesus is Lord and came to believe in Him when I was 19 and was baptized into His Church and have arrived at 75 thanks to His grace. We Catholics and our Eastern Orthodox brothers love the mother of Jesus because she was beloved of God, the Father, Son (her Son also), and the Holy Spirit. We love God and all His friends, the saints, and we love the world and wish to bring the world to Jesus. We are now one billion two hundred million and growing iand praising Jesus.

  • @FRAGIORGIO1 he was in the world, and the world was made through him,and the world nid not know him.

    john 1:10

why would you love this world, when the world hates jesus..

i would hope you would read the bible for yourself,,

dont trust anyone with your eternal soul.

hell is a place of weeping and gnashing of teeth...

only faith in the son of the living god can save us from goig there.

  • Friends, Mary is in the grave awaiting her Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ when he shall return to take his children home. Ecclesiates 9:5 "the dead know not anything"

  • @bornbythesea

Mary was assumed into heaven after her death. I know the Protestant and other convenience Christian tends to use his own logic and understanding of Scripture to know the Truth and God. However, hundreds of generations of Church doctors' teachings, which lead to Christian doctrine, are not to be thrown out (the baby with the bath water) in Catholic tradition of the Assumption of Mary into Heaven. Ironically, celebrated universally today, annually, on August 15.

  • @kostumeman how come Enoch and Elijah's assumption into heaven was recorded, and even Moses after his death, but not Mary's assumption? I would think that this would be extremely important for God to share with us if Mary is the wife of the Holy Ghost.

  • @bornbythesea

Christ told his disciples (specifically to Peter), that they are to BUILD HIS CHURCH, not rely all on a book. Thus, the origins of the Christian Church (which is the what is today the Roman Catholic Church) is guided, as Christ promised, guided by the Holy Ghost. Revelation to man, namely the doctors of Christianity over the centuries, can be enlightened to truth through the Holy Ghost.

Using your logic-based, Protestant view, there's nothing in Scripture about Sunday, either.

  • @bornbythesea

And, why don't you enlighten us as to why Enoch, Elijah's and Moses' deaths were recorded and not of many others, especially in the New Testament? You can challenge and undermine assumptions of Catholic doctrine that was debated and research by Church doctors for years, yet you can just as readily disregard bits of Christian tradition and doctrine merely based on what is or is not explicitly mentioned in Scripture?

Cars, abortion, and the Space Shutle aren't mentioned, either.

  • @bornbythesea Mary is Not the wife of the Holy Ghost. She was overshadowed by the Spirit who communicated to her the Divine maternity that she was not naturally capable of bearing and in obedience to the Father Who willed Jesus' birth. Not all of Jesus' sayings and miracles are recorded in the bible (Jn 21:25) Jesus did Not found a bible church. He founded a Teaching Church with Authority to bind and loose on earth with God's authority, to forgive sins, and share his Body and Blood. Read!

  • @FRAGIORGIO1 All pretensions of any man, either to absolve or retain men's sins, are blasphemous and absurd. None can forgive sins but God only. And this binding and loosing, in the common language of the Jews, signified to forbid and to allow, or to teach what is lawful or unlawful. Read!

The true Church of Christ is built, not on Peter, but on Peter's confession of faith, silly. "And we believe and are sure that [thou art that Christ, the Son] of the living God."-John 6:69

  • @bornbythesea Have you not read that Jesus said that the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is the God of the living and not of the dead, speaking to the Sadducees. Are you a Sadducee citing the Old Testament, or are you a Christian ignorant of the New? If the latter, inform yourself much better. That is why Jesus formed a Church with Divine Authority to Teach, Bind and Loose, Forgive Sins, and give us His Body and Blood in remembrance of the Last Supper and the Cross.

  • @FRAGIORGIO1 Jesus said, "As touching the resurrection". This means to the Sadducees He was addressing that when Abraham, Issac, and Jacob were risen from the dead "as touching the resurrection" God is the God of the living. Until then these three men, unless they were resurrected during Christ's resurrection, are still waiting for Christ's second coming in the clouds to raise them up first and then we which are alive and remain will join them. Only then will we gain immortality and incorrupti

  • @bornbythesea As touching the Resurrection He clearly speaks of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as alive in God. At death, we pass into the hands of God and Eternal Life. The Last Judgement is another matter for the end of the World, but at death the end of this world comes for us. God has no past or future but is Eternally Present and all those who pass from time are put into eternity, either for eternal life or eternal death. Jesus' Resurrection reaches backwards and forwards eternally.

  • @FRAGIORGIO1

FRAGIORGIO1 FARTS, "At death, we pass into the hands of God and Eternal Life. The Last Judgement is another matter for the end of the World,..."

    >wrong. WRONG! There's no such thing as the "Last Judgement". You talk as if there's several, dummy. There will only be one. Judgement Day will be for all who have ever lived, all living, and all who will live. Only upon our Lord's 2nd coming and Judgement Day will anyone "pass into the hands of God", silly. Read!

..."The Pope is not only the representative of Jesus Christ, he is Jesus Christ himself, hidden under the veil of flesh." -Catholic National July 1895

  • @bornbythesea The second quote is quite mistaken, and Catholics also sometimes overstate or misstate the position of the Church. The first statement is true, because Jesus, the Rock of our Faith in heaven, put Shimon bar Yona as the Rock ("Kepha" in Aramain, Jesus' language, which is rendered "petros" in Greek, in the masculine form of "petra" or rock, which is feminine and therefore inappropriate for a man). The pope is the visible sign of Unity and Faith of believers on earth till He come

  • @FRAGIORGIO1 Please describe to me in detail how He will come.

  • @bornbythesea Jesus said clearly that He will come with great power and evidence for all to see in the bible

  • @FRAGIORGIO1 Yes. Some Christians believe that He will come silently before the Great Tribulation and then He will come again after 7 years. What do you say to this?

  • @bornbythesea These speculations about Jesus' coming are useless and probably come from some crazy preacher trying to create himself a sect following. Jesus gave no indication of any of this. Let us keep ourselves fixed upon sound teaching and fulfilling the will of the Father until Jesus comes, and His coming will be Very Obvious, as He Himself said.

  • @FRAGIORGIO1 Actually, one Jesuit Francisco Ribera in 1580 came up with the idea to take the eyes of the Reformation off of the Vatican Papal See as the little horn anti-Christ power of Daniel.

  • @FRAGIORGIO1 Actually, one Jesuit Francisco Ribera in 1580 came up with the idea to take the eyes of the Reformation off of the Vatican Papal See as the little horn anti-Christ power of Daniel.

  • @bornbythesea This again is the sort of trivialities which some individuals indulge in but, which have no significance,

  • The basis for veneration of Mary, the Mother of God is based in Hebrew tradition. It follows the premise that the mother of a king carries particular weight.

In the case of Christ, who fulfilled the Jewish covenant, it is on-par with the famous example of David, Bathsheba and Solomon. When David was king, and Bathsheba the queen, tradition made Bathsheba submissive to David, her husband king. However, Solomon, as the son, honored and granted the favors requested by his mother, Bathsheba.

  • Who wrote the music for this?

  • @JJJOUTLAW...Well said :) no I don't think its in vain!

  • Comment removed

  • @JJJOUTLAW Yes al of us do love Mother Mary but 'askin' for anything is basically out of the question cz its already promised to us that Jesus is the way n only who believe in him wil be saved n that you can directly speak to him without any medium inbetween or any sacrifices since God gave his only son as a sacrifice for us so that v cud be free

  • @blahblahblah9332 First of all thank you for making this a discussion rather than an argument. Faith is counterproductive if it breeds anger not? Think of it this way-Have you ever prayed for anyone or asked someone to pray for you? Say you were sick or having a rough spell. Do you think your worldly mother prays for you? (I hope all mothers do). To Catholics, Mary is the mother of our church, Our heavenly Mother, so we ask her to pray for us. I don't think prayers for others are in vain do you?

  • Rejoice for the Age of Mary is at hand

  • Not 100 in the United States hate the Roman Catholic Church,

but millions hate what they mistakenly think the Roman Catholic Church is.

  • Jer 44:25 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying; Ye and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with your hand, saying, We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her: ye will surely accomplish your vows, and surely perform your vows..

  • ....And this [shall be] a sign unto you, saith the LORD, that I will punish you in this place, that ye may know that my words shall surely stand against you for evil

  • The road to hell is paved with "good intentions" and heretics always have the most elaborate justifications.

Every group is tainted with heretics and blasphemous heresy but the Cult of the Queen of Heaven could be said to have the most in total. It is a testament as to how insane the mind of man is to so easily be able to so deeply deceive his own self away from the Bible and into such levels of heresy which are so beyond comprehensible it is unreal. The average person is truly a slave mind.

  • @maxtube22 you are just ignorant of the Teaching of the catholic Church. You don't believed in the Catholic Church then why are using the Bible? everytme you open and read your Bible, you are reading a BOOK whose contents were canonized BY THE CATHOLIC CHURCH. Why don't make your own Bible?

  • @paididoy Your pathetic antichrist, you think you own the word of God itself given and spread freely to all mankind!!!!!! You are so beyond unreal in your demonic cult of the queen of heaven it prooves how sinful a lost soul truly can become in his vile willing heresy, just like the angels who whored after Satan and his pathetic blasphemous delusions. The blackness of darkness forever awaits you if you don't repent and be saved by the True Christ and become born again.

  • @maxtube22 paididoy is correct. You are an angry, prideful, arrogant heretic. We Catholics possess the fullness of Truth and Grace found in Our Lord Jesus Christ. We do so by submitting to His Church, the one founded upon St. Peter almost 2000 years ago in Matthew 16:18. Only the Holy Catholic Church has the authority to interpret Scripture and the Faith.

The fact that you Protestants believe that YOU ALONE can do this is a testament to our Fallen, Sinful Nature. May Jesus forgive you.

  • A Catholic will honor, respect, be reverent to, Pray to and protect our Blessed Mother.

    Hail Mary. Mother of God!

  • O really like this song too.

  • I'm not religious but I really like this song. :)

  • Ave Maria! Our Lady is the shortest, easiest, safest, and surest way to her Son, Jesus Christ.

  • Thanks :P It's very beautiful! It was through Mary that I found Christ and really began to truly believe that He is Lord and Saviour (after many detours @_@). Thanks! And thank you Mother Mary for saying yes and accepting Jesus in your womb (^_^). Pray for us.

  • The practice of venerating the Saints is as ancient as the Church itself. I really don't care anymore that some angry Europeans got on an iconoclastic binge in the 16th century. The cloud of witnesses will vindicate us in the end. Thanks for posting this!

  • Thank God there is Mary to save the feminine side of the Christian Church that has become so masculine! Mary reminds us what Grace means! She reminds us to think with the Heart, to listen to our Heart and to keep, as she did everything in our Heart being humble and loving as our nature comands us to be! Our Lady has so much to teach us to day, and I really feel pity of the protestants who insist to ignore their own Mother, the most tender link they can have between them and Jesus!

  • @Synefoula1970 That is lovely, we will have the crowning of Our Lady this weekend after mass as Easter was late this year.I was Confirmed at Easter and I am 61, so it's never too late to see how great Jesus and His Mother are, and how Mary intercedes for us. I was converted when I saw His Holiness The Pope in the UK last year !

  • @josparkes1

may Our Lady and Our Lord bless you more. a blessed week-end to you.

  • @existentialiste832 Thank you very much, the may crowning today after Mass was lovely, and the weather stayed fine too ! Have a great week.

  • Luke 1:48 For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth ALL generations shall call me blessed.

  • Yahuwshua yahweh

  • ¡ VIVA LA VIRGEN MARÍA !

¡ VIVA LA MADRE DE DIOS !

  • The Mary of Catholicism is not the Mary of the Bible, The Mary of Catholicism is full of distortion of Lies. Which leads into idolatry and a false sense of

Salvation . "The Queen of Heaven" in the Jeremiah chapters 7 and 44 is who

Catholics are worshiping. To pray or even bow to any statue, image of Mary is a " wicked sin " . Mary is used as part of the doctrine holding her to a level of worship, as Co-mediatrix with Christ, but the Bible teaches that we

must trust in YHVH and The Messiah .

  • @Acequest7 You hate God and you deny Him to His Face.

  • @Acequest7 Without Mary of Catholicism FAITH at first place, Jesus can never be born. Jesus loves his mother and honors her most. Like us,we too loves our mother and honors her in our worldly manner. Jesus loves his mother most and honors her. Loving Jesus means loving things he so loves and honors.

  • @XsomebodyXz The way to get rid of posts like maxtube, etc is to give them a thumbs-down vote(hover over the blank space the right of the comment and you'll see thumbs-up and thumbs-down icons. Vote thumbs-down.

  • @Acequest7 Contrary to the common belief of many protestants, Catholic's do not worship Mary. Jesus loved and obeyed His mother didn't he? So why not ask her to ask Him? When a Catholic says a prayer directed towards Mary, we are simply saying "Mary please ask your Son to save me". She is our greatest intercessor and we do cherish her. How can you not love the mother of our Lord and savior?

  • @JJJOUTLAW tecnically we you do not pray to Mary you pray through her intersession.

  • @HuGGyBuNNy2 I know :-) I never said we did. Sorry if I made it sound that way. God Bless

  • @JJJOUTLAW Tell me WHO died for your Sins? What it Mary or Jesus? Do you honestly believe that Mary Loves you MORE than Jesus?

  • @Cherubaby You're missing the point. What we Catholics are saying is "Jesus shed his blood and died on the cross for you, for me, for all of us. We love his mother as he loves her, and we pray to express this love, which is ultimately only another way of expressing love for Him, and because, idk if you've noticed but Jewish guys always seem to listen to their moms. Jk jk, Christ knows what our intentions are when we pray but He still likes for us to honor His mother by praying to/with her.

  • @dizzy365 Jesus likes us to pray WITH her, yes. To her? Jesus never said any such thing. Do you not know the Holy Spirit is our Great Advocate and Intercessor to Jesus? I am sure you know this.

  • @Cherubaby The Holy Spirit IS God...How can you call Him an "intercessor"?! I guess you just belong to a sect of Christianity that does not believe in the Trinity, but belief in the Trinity is one of the basic tenets of Christianity. The Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Trinity. When we pray, we're praying to all Three Persons of the Trinity, ONE God.

  • @dizzy365 Yes I know the Holy Spirit is GOD! You need to study your Bible more. Read Romans 8:26-27. The Holy Spirit makes intercession for the Saints according the to will of GOD. Jesus is GOD also, yet He makes intercession for us to the Father. See Hebrews 7:25.

  • @Cherubaby Jesus is the Only Intercessor between humans and the Father as our High Priest. The Spirit helps us to say "Abba", Father, and intercedes in that way for our weakness and insufficiency. The Spirit lives within us and helps us to pray and live conform to the will of the Father and the teachings of Jesus.

  • @Cherubaby Do you remember Mary's intercession in Cana when she got Jesus to make His first miracle in spite of its not "being the time"? He did it to illustrate her power with HIM. All things are written for our illustration and edification.

  • @FRAGIORGIO1 I am curious, if you believe Mary is your Intercessor, then what exactly do we need the Holy Spirit for? Wasn't the Holy Spirit given for exactly that reason? See Romans 8:26-27. What is the Holy Spirit's role in our Life? If you have the Holy Spirit (who is greater than Mary) then GOD will hear you. If you don't have the Holy Spirit then GOD will not hear you, no matter who prays for you. This is 100% Biblical.

  • @Cherubaby You ignore Mary's powerful intercession in Cana. it doesn't interest you, in spite of being the Word of God, and doesn't serve Your interests and goals. The Holy Spirit lives in us and help us Communicate with the Father through the Intercession of Jesus Christ. Mary and the Saints and Angels can intercede for us with Jesus, not with the Father. Nobody is denying the Spirit's role of Communicator. You are ignoring Mary's role as intercessor with Jesus. Comment that.

  • @FRAGIORGIO1 How does Mary's intercession at Cana make her a Mediator between Jesus and ALL of Humanity? What about when the Roman Centurion asked Jesus to heal his servant and He did. Does that make the Roman Centurion an Intercessor now also because Jesus did what he asked? I don't think so. You're taking one example of what happened in Cana and making it "Universal." Do know what "extrapolate" means? cont --

  • @Cherubaby Jesus worked His first miracle at Cana --in spite of it not being his "time"-- to show that Mary's intercession with Him is great. Any prayers for healing of children or servants --during His ministry-- are quite another thing. it is strange that modern Protestants are so contrary to Mary when both Luther and Calvin express great honor for her, the mother of Our Divine Savior --not a small thing to a Believer in Jesus Christ, and she was the First to Believe in Jesus (Lk 1).

  • @FRAGIORGIO1 Just for the record, I am not a "Protestant." I am a Judaic Christian. (My mother was Jewish). I believe in Jesus and observe the Hebrew Holy Days (as Jesus Himself did). I Love Jesus with all my Heart, Soul and Strength, as I am sure you do also. Being Hebrew, I am forbidden to place anything or anyone before GOD, therefore I have issues with Mary being a "Mediatrix" to Jesus. I'm sure you understand. Where did Jesus say we needed a "Mediator" to reach Him?

  • @Cherubaby Did she act as a mediatrix before Jesus at Cana? Did Moses act as a mediator before God? Did Elijah or Elisha, etc? So while God accepted or chose men to be mediators with Him and Israel, Jesus SHOWED us at Cana by His first miracle when it was not His "time" that Mary could be a mediator or mediatrix with Him to show our great reverence for the mother that He had great reverence for, that the Father chose, that the Spirit overshadowed and communicated the Divine Maternity to.

  • @FRAGIORGIO1 You are confusing "intercessory prayer" with Mediatorship. There are many "intercessors" but only ONE Mediator. Jesus is our only Mediator. St Paul tells us in Hebrews 4:16 that now we can ALL approach the Throne of Grace directly. Jesus' Blood has made us "Children of Royalty" so now we may approach our Father intimately, anytime, anywhere, about anything. Do you understand this? So what exactly do we need Mary for?

  • @Cherubaby I am Not confusing intercessor and mediator, which are the same. I am pointing out that Jesus is our Sole mediator or intercessor with the FATHER, but that Mary, Abraham, Moses, or St. Francis, etc. can intercede or mediate for us with JESUS (not with the Father) as indeed Mary did in Cana and as Jesus illustrated with Abraham. The Only thing negative about Abraham interceding was that the rich man was in Hell and there is no intercession for persons in hell but yes on earth.

  • @FRAGIORGIO1 cont -- Does that mean that all those people had "Power" over Him? No. Jesus did all those things out of Love, not because anyone had "power" over Him. I believe you need Mary ONLY if you don't have a personal relationship Jesus, in other words, you are a lost Soul and your condition is so utterly miserable that the only way you can contact GOD is through the intercession of a Saint. Do you understand what I mean?

  • @FRAGIORGIO1 cont -- Extrapolate means to extend the application of a method or conclusion to an unknown situation by assuming that existing trends will continue or similar methods will be applicable.

This is what you are doing by saying that just because Jesus obeyed Mary at Cana, He will do so for the rest of eternity. The Truth is that Jesus answered Mary because it was in GOD's will, NOT because He can deny His mother nothing. cont --

  • @Cherubaby That is Your Interpretation of the significance of Jesus working a miracle Before His "Time" at the intercession/mediation of Mary. Only Your Interpretation. Why did He anticipate His "Time" then?

  • @FRAGIORGIO1 cont -- When we asked things that are in GOD's will, He will answer us. If you want to pray to Mary, that's up to you. I'm just saying it's not necessary because Jesus promised that whatever we ask in HIS NAME He will give us. Why speak to the servant, Mary, when you can speak to the Master, Jesus, Himself? I personally would rather speak to the Master than to the Servant.

  • @Cherubaby I do not deny praying directly to Jesus is greater than to Mary. What I will say is that it is pleasing to Jesus that His mother is honored, loved, and prayed to in her heavenly glory beside Her DIVINE SON.

  • @FRAGIORGIO1 How can you be so sure?

  • @Cherubaby By the example of Jesus at Cana regarding His mother's gentle insistence that He help the young couple. God teaches us also by example as in All the Scriptures. We must be alert to read His examples and understand.

  • @Cherubaby Do you not remember Jesus' example of the rich man that died and saw poor Lazarus in paradise with Abraham, and that the rich man prayed to Abraham to tell Lazarus to go to his house to warn his family? Those were Jesus' words illustrating prayer to a saint in heaven, but that the rich man's prayer was useless because he was in hell.
