  • He's Scottish

  • Man, this guy Craig Ferguson should go back to Ireland where belongs. He's trying soooo hard to be funny and it ain't workin. He's full of bullshit. Whitely Streiber is trying to talk in a goddam honest way about what he experienced and Thick Irish Mick Ferguson doesn't even have IQ to understand the awesome nature of this experience!!

  • ive had shitlike that happen to me too, only i was on ketamine and new it was hallucinations, not aliens. it was real, just not aliens.

  • whitley strieber is easy to rip apart; not that i mean him ill physically. i can't say he and they are mentally safe because i have to do him and all of his gullible victims a favor, which can be mentally bothersome to him and they...and maybe even a bit physical because it could also upset the stomach or cause the runs. to begin, has anybody seen the movie, 'exorcism of emily rose'? watch it and then read strieber's 'communion'. 3 a.m., anyone? is whit possessed by the devil..or just himself?

  • it's allll so fucking phoney. the audience makes me sicker than the two show biz monkeys in the chairs. god the laughter makes me want to puke. well, strieber loves--i mean REALLY REALLY LOVES to talk about himself. but get this: his coming out of the closet book, communion, promoted him as an ORDINARY GUY, but if you look into his past before communion, he was a long time associate of the gurdjieff foundation, a participant in witch masses, a follower of TAROT...shall i go on?

  • Strieber is just pushing his book. Free advertising on this show.

It's all about the money. I reckon that few people take Whit seriously, me included. Show us some pictures if this stuff is true, Whitley! Give us proof.

  • Interesting too the Graham Hancock's point of view about this subject:

/watch?v=gW5_QzmC6Bg his point is: Those Beings ("Aliens", Spirits", etc. the name that our culture and time wants to give them) are the ones that made us Humans..

  • I love how he is still skeptical in being a believer. Look back 20 years ago and watch the Larry King interview, good stuff.

  • whitley was /is superb...what a gracious,humourous man with empathy....what a human!!!

  • Pluto is coming? I didn't even know it was breathing hard.

  • There is a phenomena out there we just don't understand, why the fuck is it always made a joke of by the media and the laughing assholes in this clip!

  • WOW HE LOOKS AND TALKS LIKE AN OLD JIMMY KIMMEL

  • Strieber is a great fiction writer. I read communion when I was a kid. Scared the shit out of me.

  • Good heavens, Mr. Ferguson...let your "Guest" speak! He is suppost to be a guest, right?

Kudos to Mr. Strieber for dealing with such rudeness and mediocracy with so much grace.

  • Love it thanks for posting. I don't think Ferguson is making fun.

  • I dunno, I think Stephen Hawking was more accurate when he said if aliens landed it would be more like when the Spaniards conquered Mexico.

  • If a guy with a claim like this is allowed on mainstream television (on a network with a one eye logo) the government is certainly involved. The government undoubtedly knows more about aliens and their true nature than the public collectively is aware of.

Not unlike governmental heads, Wilcock, Icke, Cassidy, Alex Jones and all those people are masonic members. While not denying the existence of aliens I believe people are manipulated to either consciously or subconsciously mislead the public.

  • These talk show hosts are nothing but arrogant t*****s

  • You talk about being opened minded, yet you insult the host because he finds it hard to believe in alien beings. It sounds ludicrous to even stretch the imagination to fathom the reality of their beings. It would be the same if you were tell a person that a 15ft man walked past you on the street.Does it seem impossible?,sure. But it might very well be possible.

  • Isn't it...a little ARROGANT for our species to assume that we are the only living things that were, are, and ever will be? Shouldn't we be open to the endless possibilities, seeing as how we haven't even left the milky way to personally see what lies beyond?

  • Im not a scot im a canadian and i think that Craig was good in the way he handled this interview. Put Whitley on Dave Letterman or Leno or Kimmel and see what happens. He even said at the end he was all about keeping an open mind.

And the pupose of late night shows is entertainment, there is ALWAYS jokes thrown in regardless who the guest is, and i have tons of respect for C.F. now because the jokes were not condescending or insulting towards Strieber. Shows class.

  • Whitley Strieber is a highly imaginative fiction writer but hearing the adverts for Communion t-shirts on his Dreamland Radio Show made me wonder if it isnt all just a wonderful Barnum type hoax-fantastic writer though!

  • @squid4104 good point..i mean i was really getting into "communion" and i still am but when i heard him say "oh yeah i write thriller stories" i was like ohhh man...

  • @BigEvan96 Hope youre enjoying Communion! I appreciate your comment-check out the Starfire Tor time travel show on Coast to Coast where Whitley makes an appearance with his wife! My point being it doesnt end with aliens but multiverses etc-Way out man!!!!!!

  • I'm a Scot, DUNDEE, Cup-Winners, ya bas, and I think Craig is treating this wanker pretty good, you bampots.

  • @locheelad2

    fuck you scotchland.

the sixth man on the moon,a genius in his own right believes aliens are already here.

    google edgar mitchel aliens

  • Wow, that host is totally not respecting the guest. Or if it's the shows fault, i don't know. Check out anything by Whitley Strieber, it's worth the read.

  • i've read several of his books. His fiction is pretty good. Not fantastic, I think Frank Herbert kinda ruined the whole fiction genre for me, set the bar way too fucking high.

but i highly highly recommend Communion to everybody. it's non-fiction, him really putting his whole life story into it with all his heart and soul. It's really electrifying the way he writes with amazing sincerity and eloquence. It's more exhilarating than any of his works of fiction IMO. Rings eerily true, too.

  • @zapproowsdower try reading some Saberhagen and Zelazny. Good authors have always been rare.

  • Second rate thinker.

  • I'm a Scot (Glasgow) and ARW101 just comes across as some cock-hugging, cum guzzling, fucking pillock.

  • I am a Scot,Glasgow/You dont get out much,do you.C F has done something with his life.apparently you dont seem to have except maybe blame the the rest of the planet for your own shortcomings..

  • I'm a Scot (Aberdeen) and Craig Ferguson just comes across as some cheeky-chappy Weegie - fucking pillock.

  • I'm surprised Craig didn't laugh Whit off... quite a fair hearing, especially considering the comedy-talk format. I'm glad Whit is media-seasoned, and doesn't take himself so seriously that he can't understand the format. Nice guest spot, overall, considering the brevity... and Whit's ability to go on for hours!

  • i read the Secret School and Communion. Secret School was very interesting...

  • This is not a show to be talking about serious stuff like his and I am certain he knows that. May be someone in the audience or out there would believe. Anyways, this is another way of selling his book. By the way, this is not a novel; this is real!!!

  • Correction from an avid if skeptical devotee of Whitley Streiber's Dreamland radio show, now podcast:

This is indeed a novel, albeit one that Whit has plainly stated is based 99% on the facts of his experience and beliefs. He fictionalized it because he didn't believe it would sell as an in-your-face nonficton book. Besides, it stands a better chance this way of being adapted for the Bigt Screen. I hope he succeeds.

  • Communion...son of a bitch! Why i read that. I was jumpy long time. Particularly in the dark. Some squirrel in the roof and click! click! click! whole house was lit up like bloody christmas tree!

  • Video cameras yeah right. Who´s gonna believe you? "Noo this is photoshopped! " It´s very hard thing to discuss...as anyone see. As i see when i watch this video. It´s alway must cover in humor. Otherwise it´s too complex stuff to comprehend.

  • In todays day and age.... with video cameras built into every cell phone and webcams, etc. Why doesn't someone who is visited and abducted for 20 years...I dunno... set up video cameras everywhere? This man, by his own admission, has ZERO proof. Not one picture, not one recording, nothing.

  • I heard in one of his podcasts or interviews that the Grays are masters at avoiding being recorded. They could have mastered cloaking technology, like the Predators, or they don't exist and it's a figment of his imagination.

  • I read the book communion

    Good read for sci-fi

but i believe in aliens if his story is fiction

    ~Ive seen a UFO

    In the eightees...

A great big ball as big as the moon passed my eyes.

    No joke

  • Yeah I remember when I had my first beer too.

  • This Whitley Strieber character believes that aliens were visiting him?

His little claims don't hold up with me.

Craig Ferguson handled this person pretty well... he laughed it off.

  • What's up with all the uptight/butthurt Strieber superfans? Streiber is a big boy; he knew what he was doing. Ferguson was relatively annoying and interrupted a little bit too much, but he was joking around with Streiber; he wasn't being condescending or insulting or attacking him in any way. There's a difference between being a wise-ass and a flat out dickhead.

  • I think hes awfull. Whitley deserves a lot better.

  • ferguson's a douche. douchey showbiz douchesack.

  • yeah, he sucks here - he keeps cutting off the guy's responses with lame hollywood schtick.

  • Some people deal with ther fears by making jokes about it. That's pretty much the case in the above interview. Kudos to Mr. Whitley Strieber for being so cool about it. I'm in the middle reading Communion right now. I've never read the book before, and it's very interesting.

  • It's a great book, and they get better and more interesting from there... you have a lot of good reading ahead of you!

  • Love that book, loved Transformation too. I'm in the middle of The Grays. Love it.

  • Craig Ferguson needs to shut up and let him talk!

    Hes so annyoing.

  • When the interview started we were waiting for profoundness. Bu, Craig wouldnt shut up and ask the questions we all wanted to know. I would like to see someone else interview Mr.Strieber.

  • Yeah, well, that's his style. Craig gets paid to be a funnyman...

  • I get why Craig is supposed to be funny. But it's like inviting a cripple up on stage and making jokes about their crutches. Whitley seems to roll with it though. No pun intended.

  • This is what Ryan Seacrest will look like when he reaches his age.

  • Urghh Ferguson is an idiot. Whether real or projected, millions experience abductions which can be for the most part extremely upsetting and disturbing. They can ruin lives and relationships. The general public prefer to mock that which they cannot understand.

  • ive read a few of whitleys books. ive read communion, the transformation, and a novel he wrote about what he thinks happened at roswell called majestic, and im torn about what i think! i like the fact that he doesnt deal in absolutes when it comes with the greys, and his views that there are more than one type of being involved in these abduction models is consistent with the other famous cases, but he seems to be profitting quite a bit from these stories are becoming a little self rewarding

  • seems dishonest and dammages real claims by being so popular in our cultare, then doing things to bring his claims under easy suspicions from folks who have researched this...he may be playing to a different type crowd,,,,but seems to lying if ya watch his face....

  • i beleive that extraterrestrials have visited us and all but this whitley streiber is full of shit.

  • full of shit ur talking about a man that says he is still open to any possibility of what they are he says what he saw thats it he doesn't know whats going on he admits it and u think he full of it okay.... what do u want absolutes?

  • Aliens are a provocative topic. I was excited about Greer's disclosure project, esp. the 2006 press conference. But then Greer seemed to go crazy, and now no one pays attention to him. I've found Stanton Friedman's stuff to be quite convincing, but Strieber's stories smack of dishonesty... It'd be cool if his stories were true, but he's too far out for me. I'm not ruling him out. I'm sure reality is profoundly wilder than I'm aware of... I just can't take Streib's broader vision of it seriously.

  • if everyone could learn to express themselves intelligently without expletives, maybe the world would be a better place.

  • true true

  • ya i beleive he had an experiance but maybe it made him a lil retarded

  • Bad interview. Wrong show. He should stick to his own audience.

  • strieber's book "communion" was convincing but his follow up books proves he was just cashing in on a phenonoma he was not fully aware of, eg. see his book "the secret school": he is full of shit and now taking advantage of the 2012 rubbish that plagues youtube

  • true

  • 2012 is like the only 'prophecy ' that virtually every religion agrees with, even an odd year for astronomy

  • "virtually every religion agrees". Where is your evidence for such an outlandish statement.

I think you have no clue as to what you speak of.

  • This guy is the biggest scammer in history....think about it...he says he was abducted...wrote a book...made a movie...made millions....jumped on the 2012 bandwagon....made millions....now he's doing this book.....What a fuck wad and his credibility is out the fucking window and anyone who believes this shit needs help.....my opinion.

  • i agree he made money but the guy was a movie script writer and novelist had bank already ..

even writing a shit book you can make alot of money

his books might be bullshit... even so they are obviously taken directly from abductee accounts

oyea fuck 2012 any anyone whos so fucking ignorant as you ... that just discounts the millions of abductee witnesses...

you need help in my opinion

  • ok.........................

  • Bandwagon is a good word for it. 2012 is the new Y2K.

  • also: Whitley Streiber is NOT funny. Hes attempting to waste time cracking jokes to make up for his lack of acting ability.

  • Whitley Streiber is not believable

  • a very poor interview...I guess it really says something about humanity....

  • I believe that there is intelligence life on other planets, but not that it can come and visit us.

  • "I felt an absolutely indescribable sense of menace. It was hell on earth to be there [in the presence of the entities], and yet I couldn't move, couldn't cry out, couldn't get away. I'd lay as still as death, suffering inner agonies. Whatever was there seemed so monstrously ugly, so filthy and dark and sinister. Of course they were demons. They had to be. And they were here and I couldn't get away."

    - Whitley Strieber, Transformation, p. 181

They are not aliens, they are demons from hell..

  • I think Streiber is a believer but not an actual abductee. I believe his book 'Communion' was inspired by the book 'The Amityville Horror'... Streiber simply substituted ghosts with aliens, and voila! he had a hit. Still, he is a decent ambassador for the phenomenon

  • Space ships (ufos) follow space missions....I think we are being watched

  • C'mon, compared to most interviewers, Ferguson went easy on our hero! Remember that Larry King laughed in his face when he told him he was raped by aliens (not in those words)

  • I think they get along very well! Strieber, believe him or not...he is engaging. I met him years ago as a journalist capacity for my college news paper @ a UFO con. I asked him what the weirdest thing he ever saw was. He thought for a moment and then said, there was a little man asleep in his bed. I thought he meant little alien, but he clarified...little man. A few years later, I saw a impossibly small man. He was 3'4" and impish with fine face & build, He opened a door that was heavy 4 me.

  • I have to admit, Strieber keeps up with Ferguson

    well.

  • To insult Craig Ferguson is to insult Whitley. You are implying he didn't know what he was getting into, talking with a comedian. Whitley stated he watches the show, and expressed hesitancy at the beginning of the interview. Whitley knows that common perception of his experiences with alien races is that it's outlandish, false, and deserving of mockery, and acceptance of it as fact is frightening. Stop the insults. Whitley chose to be there. It's a comedy show. Whitley knows that.

  • Craig Fergusson is a twat.

Us Scots wouldn't even have him.

He's not fit to lick Strieber's boots.

    What a turd.

  • i knew him when he lived in glasgow,he first went out doing gigs as "bing hitler"!

  • wow he gained weight!

  • It sucks when you have someone as intelligent as Strieber talking to Ferguson's dumbass.

  • Cute interview. Not anywhere as bad as I expected. "Who are we to fire Pluto?" Cute & fun little conversation.

  • this is what it looks like to have a monkey interview a human being

  • now there a guy that never gets laid, so of course pretend aliens r molesting u, makes sense to me hehe

  • bwahahaha

  • Strieber is an excellent writer...of fiction.

  • Really do people actually watch this? The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson! complete with the terrible jokes and canned laughter! and call it entertaining? I'm astounded!

  • i love how patient Streiber is even when he is being slightly interrogated and ridiculed.

  • @JimmyBones111 yeah i saw his reaction to some of those questions

  • @JimmyBones111 Yeah, I like Ferguson, but he really lays it on a bit thick here.

  • Anyone ever read WARDAY?

  • I don't know what to make on alien abduction, but back in the 90's I had a weird experience while reading one of his books, without going into the details, it left me doubting my doubts.

  • Even though I believe in other lifeforms, he is just selling the story, making money and publicity!!! he is the greatest bullshitter I even seen! nothing tangible, show the fucking proof, why is it that we only have statements but nothing solid!! don't fucking lie to the people be honest.

  • I can see what you're sayin. But in the same turn, hes always been an author, thats his proffession. If these instances have actually happened to him, then he might as well trying to earn a living.

Besides, hes stuck with his story for over 20years, and even lost money and went bankrupt along the way. He obviously beleives in somthing, whether its true or not... who knows.

  • i read the book thought it would be interesting, but the damn thing was boring as hell. looks like he lifted several plot lines

from the xfiles and other sources instead of his own.

  • strieber is a satanic slave. Do not believe anything he says. I spent years on his website watching every abductee that came there get thoroughly abused and brainwashed into his hate filled views. If you have any of his books use them for toilet paper.

  • I'm curious... How are his views hate filled?

  • Host looks like Nick Saban..wonder if he lies like Nick?

  • craig started out in glasgow in the early 80s he used to go on tour and call himself BING HITLER!!!!!!!! he was funny then...

  • *interveiwers

  • the audience just looking for any excuse to laugh, even if its at the interviews shit jokes.

  • Seven years being anal probed and the guy cant take a picture of the aliens?

  • Craig Ferguson's weirder than any alien or shapeshifter I've ever seen described in Whitley's many books.

  • Craig is VERY FUNNY maybe not to you cause you don't understand his sense of humor but many people find him funny. Oh and everyone that's pissed off about him interupting Strieber it's only cause the guy won't answer a question straight and forward. Craig only has about 7 minutes with each guest and at this rate he's not getting anywhere. Plus he's the host he's supposed to ask questions and make jokes.

  • Craig Ferguson is NOT funny!!!!!!

    Moron!!!!!!

  • he is not funny only cause u have no sense of humor.......u r the moron

  • There's a time to put the jokes aside. What a moron! (referring to the interviewer)

  • if the ariens are controlled by the grays and the grays are controled by the reptilians, who controls the hemmaroids.arent the hemmaroids the worst alien race, what can we do to protect our selves from them.

  • i believe that but all the shit control and crap , remember we're relying on normal people and remember people exaggerate and like christians like to add there own spin as to what they think is real

  • Strieber makes all his stuff up from dreams and spiritual experiences. His wife wrote a fiction book called lies to help ease her guilt from helping spread her husband's lies. They are both evil corrupt people.

All people who have experiences from the unknown get mocked into silence at strieber's website by his pack of dogs, and he does nothing to help them. He is a devil

  • The other day he thought there were intruders in his house even though he checked the locks many times. So his angels gave him an experience to ease his suffering. The same thing happened at his cottage when his experiences first began. He bought a gun and thought he was going to die so his angels took him above. God and angels take any form they think is relevant

  • Strieber's experiences follow the same pattern of experiences that happen to countless people when faced with death. Everytime he thinks he is going to die his angels take him above or give him transcendental experiences to ease his stress. The angels did the same with Enoch. It's the common pattern

  • I spent 5 yrs helping people who came to strieber for help. He helps no one and he stole my ideas all the time. He copied everything I wrote the very next day. I could control his mind with whatever I wrote. He is 100% corrupt and evil. Do not believe a word he says.

  • Why does Craig Ferguson interrupt all the time? Its so annoying! good interview though

  • Well, imo it's because the guy is terribly slow with comming to the point, and Craig wants to keep the conversation active. It gotta be entertaining... and he lets him finish tho, since he "goes back on track" with a follow up question after interrupting. Anyways; Craig also does this to anyone he interviews tho. He is a comedian after all. Hehe.

  • The Grays are real, their here because they need our genetic material to cure a genetic virus that is ravaging their species, they need our help.

  • I've also heard they are dieing because its time for them to go extinct an they don't want too. So they mix our DNA with theirs to prolong their species.

  • I am currently reading "The Grays" and it's a really great read. Personally, it has hit home cuz alot of what I already believed in private he has written about. Would love to hear from other "The Gray" readers.

  • phsjr1..I think you have Whitley's last name misspelled.

  • Yes. This would probably get more views if it was spelled correctly. The last name is Strieber.

  • Yeah it's streiber

  • Strieber :)

  • damnit! youre right! oops!~ :)

  • Whitley is 100% credible. He and thousands upon thousands of people have been abducted, and are being abducted daily. Any one who thinks we are the only beings in the universe IS incredibly naive and brainwashed.

  • I remember reading communion when I was 15, scared the shit out of me, got right into it for a while and bought the follow ups, started to grow up and realise what a psycho he was when he claimed a past life in Atlantis, god what a stupid teenager I was! Communion is still a damn good fantasy horror novel in the first person though.

  • I think anything is possible. Whitley might be goin' a little off the rails, but I'm sure there's something going on with him that is beyond his control, that he thinks is real, and that seems to be corroborated by those around him.

  • Yeah, I think anyone would go a little off the rails if the crazy shit that Whitley claims happened to him happened to them. I'm not certain I believe everything that Whitley says but I think he believes it. I really don't know what's going on there but I think it's something strange.

  • Craig...come on let the man get a word in...

  • Good informative interview with a bonus of a few chuckles.

  • How come theres is no late night paranormal shows

  • A.M. radio is as close as it gets. Listen to Coast to Coast with George Noory.

  • Heh, not bad for a public interview!

  • Whitley Streiber was credible about 4 books ago. Now, he makes HARD CASH every time he makes an appearance. But if he wants to do mainstream shows, he has to bring out the proofs he spoke about in "Contact". Don't diss Craig Ferguson, he has nothing to prove, and he's cool to let someon so far from the mainstream onto his show to talk about his point of view.

  • thats disappointing that hes only in it for the money now i think theres some substance to this kind of thing but people turn right around and contradict themeselves or try to discredit each other. its like why cant whoever really knows speak i want to know. not because i need to because i'm curious

  • AT first, I was a little disturbed at this interview. I'm a fan of Craig, and I'm a fan of Whitley, but I hate it whenever serious extraterrestrial matters get poked fun at on comedy shows like this. I feel it backtracks from the truth, but nonetheless, as the interview progressed, I think it was actually a success. Craig ended it on a good note, saying he keeps an open mind, So that was good. Plus, for the first time, Strieber showed off his humorous side, which was relieving.

  • "serious extraterrestrial matters" are you talking about NASA affairs? Because this is NOT seriou, this is really only a joke. The guy only wants to sell his book.

  • Glad that you know so much. How do you learn what you learn? You're spoon feed reality by others. Go read the NYTimes and show everyone how smart you are. Earth is flat, right?

  • That isn't even Fuckin' funny. Just because YOU haven't been abducted (probably because you are a defect) doesn't mean that this is not real. do some research, you monkey.

  • YOU are a bafoon. Whitley Streiber is a contactee and abductee and is 100% true. No one listens to your non-sensical comments.

  • I thought it was quite a good interview actually; they seemed to get along quite well.

  • This Ferguson twat thinks he's funny, never at once I laugh at his retarded jokes. The people in the background giggling and laughing along must have a shallow and pitiful taste of humor.

  • He IS FUNNY. And you are just an idiot if you don't think like that.

  • This Ferguson twat thinks he's funny, never at once I laugh at his retarded jokes. The people in the background giggling and laughing along must have a shallow and pitiful taste of humor.

  • Yeah Ferguson's a bit of a knob innit. haha

  • I khow aliens exist.

But this men want to sell his books first of all...

  • Ferguson is a complete asshole who thinks hes funny but hes just a jackass. lol

  • A time will come when all will believe.

  • Why did strieber go on this jackasses show at least leno would let him speak first

  • Strieber is an extremely credible witness whose book Communion raises the possibility that these visitors come from within ourselves. Ferguson is an arsehole way out of his intellectual depth.

  • This Ferguson is a complete asshole.

  • I've always felt sorry for Steiber. It seems like people are never going to believe him. For him, its not about aliens, its about the experience.

  • WWTMD?

    (What Would Terrence Mckenna Do?)

  • Craig just called him pauly sheever at the end of the interview. What a tumbling tumbling asshole.

  • no matter what or where the subject of Extratresterials and UFo's are always turned into a joke. people always joke about things that they fear deep down. So they dont have to live with the posibility of it being real .

  • no hes not, craig rules

  • > FERGUSON IS A MORONIC TWAT

Ha! Yes he is... yes he is...

  • Everyone who is dissin' Ferguson here is a twat!

You're all just signing the sympathy card for Steiber cause you think that by making it seem like he was being made a fool of somehow makes his stories sound more realistic, WHEN IN ACTUAL FACT, he is obviously a fan of the show. Craig Ferguson was being "open minded" and being his usual self. HE'S A COMEDIAN!!! Steiber was promoting a book. END OF!

  • FERGUSON IS A MORONIC TWAT

  • Yeah, same here. Whitley did very well considering the subject matter and history.

  • Interesting interview. I don't watch Ferguson very often as his sense of humor doesn't sit with me well. Mr. Strieber held his own quite well and motivates me to seek out his book The Grays.
