  • GREAT!!!!!!

  • honky tonk?

  • ...Cornell stays true to Billy Butler's 'head' on Bill Dogett's classic, 'Honky Tonk' ! But so does Tee, Cuber, Gomez, and Gadd !

    The Gadd Gang.

  • richard tee on the keyboards

  • RIP Cornell Dupree and Richard Tee.

  • "Wait a minute! Where are all the 128th notes and screaming overdrives?"

"Oh yeah, they're not there. What's left if you don't have that?"

"Uh, that would be what's called music."

  • RIP Cornell - you were one of the greatest ever...

  • SUBLIME !

  • Holy sheeeeeT!!! That's Ron Cuber on Baritone Sax! I ain't seen The 80s in New York..and never on utube before!

  • Saw a gig in Ft. Lauderdale(1990?) It was a New York studio supergroup...

Steve Gadd-drums, Ralph McDonald-percussion, Will Lee-bass, Richard Tee-keyboards, John Tropea-guitar, Lenny Pickett-alto sax. Talk about some groovin'!! This is classic right here! Eddie Gomez has that 50's upright bass sound down! Ronnie Cuber keeps everything going and Cornell Dupree has that greasy, fried Southern funkability that just won't quit...

  • @robertdeltajohnson - saw that gig ... Musicians Exchange I wanna say - it was awesome right? - Only about 200 people max.

  • @stans06 Yeah, that show had a really swingin' groove. They were amazingly funky, I had to stand in the back and I couldn't stop dancing the whole show! Too bad that group never put out an album, it would have been a HUGE seller!! A great night, indeed...!

  • @robertdeltajohnson I just bought (and love) and you absolutely have to get Stuff Live at Montreaux 1976 DVD just released in 2008 it's the whole original band minus Chris Parker but the vibe and the groove??? Exactly like it was back when we saw them and the DVD is about $8 bucks and it is so wonderful and awesome I was dancin' in my room to it. The studio albums not as great (but good) but this DVD is beyond excellant. Seriously for $8 bucks risk it on my word. (Amazon has it)

  • Ron Cuber on baritone sax=excellent

  • I love Mr Tee`s piano play

He was the king of piano (RIP)

  • Nice blues number..........

  • Honky Tonk - I Can't Stop Loving You

  • you're right.2 songs in 1

  • Simply beautiful. You have to search to hear "real" music today.

  • what about the incomparable richard tee, how come he doesn't get a mention, never saw stuff live but this is pretty close, a bit more bluesy

  • actually Bill Doggett was the original Honkt Tonk artist, with Billy Butler doing the guitar solo. It's great to see this rendition by this Stuffy bunch

  • WOW!!! i love it

  • Oh My God

This make memories come back from the 80´s and all good west cost rock.

I bileve at from 6.35 the song is called

    "I cant stop loving you"

Thank you, thank you for post this for us to see it.

  • なつかし〜!!

    ここに居ました!!

  • For those who asked: This tune is called "Honky Tonk" and the original had Billy Butler doing the gittar solo. Of course Richard Tee is here..and you can find the while DVD usually for less than $10 on Ebay. Type in "Gadd Gang Japan"

  • It's sad that all these years growing up in NYC I didn't know that the SNL band was mainly comprised of the STUFF band. Just hearing and seeing these clips on YouTube bring back found memories of growing up in Brooklyn and hearing SNL's theme music.

  • This is like a thousand foot Title wave moving across the sea at 5 miles an hour just massive.

  • ronnie cuber is a genius.

  • ピットインだべ。

  • how is this song called. groovicious and funkefabelistic. just great.

  • NICE!

  • Yeah! Ronnie Cuber on baritone

  • thanks, but needs a louder upload, do that and it will shoot high in reviews. I should be able to turn my tube volume to max and have the windows rattle, cant with this. see my playlists music for lots of high volume uploads

  • We need to add Richard Tee on the Hammond

  • amen!

  • late 80's or early 90's

  • 80's

  • Cornell is one of the funkiest guitarists around, no doubt. Steve lays it down with everyone from Steely Dan to Paul Simon to... you name it. Tasty!

  • Honky Tonk, sweet!
