I have the Columbia Cougar Flats tent, it was good up until the bay windows broke, and it's a nightmare to replace the parts, very nice tent though but I need to buy a new one, very good video
why do you spend so much time in a tent?. If i did i would buy a much higer quality tent. if your going 200 nights a year i think its worth it to put out at least 300 if not 500 $ i know i would It would last way longer and be much stronger and wormer if you do winter camping and get a 4 season. but if you dont backpack and bring a truck and all thows other things like carpet or a matress you have with you and are pulling a trailer anyway why not at least get a pop up trailer?
get a canvas tent.

Nice
I would use the bugaboo for the dogs with some AstroTurf cut for a floor. IMO That Cabelas Alaskan guide tent would be best for you.
