copper droped about 50% in a few months when the economy went bad and he is advising that its a good long term investment at this time?? thats some pretty bad advice.. its like knowing a stock is going to do bad and he needs to sell so give advice to people so they can buy his stock so they lose money instead of him

However, copper is a good LONG TERM alternative just like he said - 10+ years! As the fiat currencies of the west loses value, all commodities will gain value - the Chinese is hoarding copper and they're obviously going to start consuming.

if you can find a person in china trying to hord the copper let me know and give me the price he is paying. cause then i have someone to sell a few containers a month too.
