  • what an jerk boris is

  • When you touch figure you must move with this figure and when you release you can't turn back

    Sorry for english

  • @energy8733 Yes. Carlsen didn't drink enough OJ. His initial move (which he released) was K-d4 losing rook.

But I can't see times left. Anyone?

  • fuck !!!! Carlsen ! what do you do ? !!!

  • NOOO CARLSON NEVER LOSESSS

  • Boris is imitating Carlsen? They both have their left hands in the same position. And the shirts are very similar.

  • yes this is the strangest youtube video - 9 minutes of silence and a split second of action

  • Quietest youtube video I've ever seen!

  • I don´t know if we could judge boris for doing that, one one hand he could have just play out the game and be a sportsman on the other hand, this is a win vs carlsen.:/

  • ho cinegrafista ..ruin...filma ate o final monstro

  • hahaha so stupid the robot finally commited a stupid mistake :D

  • @SoulBloodJVL No. You dont know chess rules

  • @SoulBloodJVL no one is allowed to make more than one move in chess

  • Carlsen would have lost anyway

  • @MrRazorblade999 with the exchange up? I dont think so. Its hard to see the time but unless that other guy was winning for at least some 20 seconds I dont think Magnus was gonna lose.

  • @securuslol You're kidding, right?

  • @MrRazorblade999 About what? I paid more attention to the time, I see Magnus only has 12 seconds at the time of his illegal move. But he gets 2 seconds each move, so he's not losing on time for sure. About the position, your arrogant answer made me wonder if maybe I was overlooking anything, so I engine-checked. Turns out, I'm not. I was right, it's a draw. Magnus wasn't gonna lose. If anything his moves are kind of more obvious and easier to spot 'cause he's got the rook.

  • @securuslol I misread, you are absolutely right. I apologize.

  • @warriorj9 How is he losing he's got 2 pawns for an exchange. the positions equal if not slightly better for black

  • Bispo iria dar xeque no rei e ganharia a torre e o jogo

  • Its just part of the game. You must be good enough to play sorrounded by people, to defeat your oponent and to watch not breaking the rules.

  • @warriorj9 and again you wouldn't understand the game. Black is clearly not losing in the final position.

  • wow

  • this rule is so fucking pointless

  • thats lame

  • @warriorj9 well, unless you are Kasparov

  • camera de outro angulo (velhinho do outro lado lá) bem melhor e completo watch?v=QjIyNlbTkog

  • que capivarada! deu dó

  • so what rule was it he broke? letting go a piece by wich means he could no longer move it? i thought that rule only applied in standar 2 hour + 40 min. matches... enlighten me

  • Harry Potter Elf bankers in the backround

  • I would call only a technicality if it makes no difference. But Savchenko would win with ...Bf2+

  • While rules are rules and Savchenko was in his rights to call out Carlsen, it is a shame to see a game end on a technicality.

  • @Thucydides411 who won? why?

  • AUTHOR, Please DON'T SPOIL in the description

  • carlsen has a lot of opportunities for winning blacks queen as evryone see blacks queen is absolutely trap so thers a big question in my mind why he dint try to win the queen by moving R to a1?

  • @123oblivion1231 maybe b/c black would simply take the rook for free with his g7 bishop!

  • Magnus is a great player so...i forgive him everything.

  • Carlsen is much more shooted by cameras than others GM. It's normal to see him breaking rules much more time.

  • @Capablanche he´s not supossed to break rules at all

  • @Capablanche what rule was broken? forgive my ignorance...

  • @Capablanche yea what rules was broken? carlsen didnt hit the clock yet, so it was still his turn?

  • After 51.K D4 Hiarcs takes the score from 0.00 dead even too - 14.23 lol

  • My analysis shows that Boris could have almost equalized if on move 24....d4! right after Carlsen played nf2 the bishop on e3 is lost Hiarcs says that after 24....bxd3? White holds the entire advantage

  • if this hadn't happen, probably magnus would have been the blitz chess champion again.

@mberg1974: If you were to play some competitive blitz tournaments you would know that this happens quite often and every human has emotions, even magnus carlsen so noone can blame him for his behavior the moment after a bluder!

  • @andreiavr : what a nonsense. Since when is emotion an excuse for breaking the rules? Don't play if you can't control yourself and follow the rules. This goes especially for Carlsen since he has build up quite a record of these incidents in a short career.

As for the consequences of this incident-if it had not happened it was still doubtfull if he could have hoped for more than a draw. But even a full point wouldn't have been enough to catch up with Aronian, or Radjabov for that matter.

  • @MrSitzkrieg

Oh shut the hell up. It's not like he's intentionally breaking the rules. It's called a mistake.

  • @MrSitzkrieg Well, many big champions were under influence of their emotions while playing. Carlsen does not break the rules more ofthen then the average but your post tells me someone behind your computer hates Carlsen a lot. He is a great player with emotion and intuition - these 2 comes together. If you have no emotions try Curling :)

  • A World Championship is not kindergarten, and Magnus Carlsen of all people should know it.

  • You gotta hand it to savchenko...he played it very risky and brave!Nice one in the dragon

  • Great video! Lucky to capture that moment

  • How many times will Magnus pretend not to know the rules ?

1)rst time (that I know of) he touched and moved another against Aronian at Amber. After Aronian's claim he denied but fortunately it was on tape so Aronian won.

    2) Claimed a repetition when there was none against Morozevich.

3&4 ) Tried to touch and move another piece against Gashimov and another player Moscow blitz 2009

5)Same event; tried to cheat mrs. Kosteniuk, and refused to shake hands.

    "Unsporting, Grandmaster!"

  • @MrSitzkrieg

    you are an idiot.

  • Magnus has done this before, as well!

  • That's a tragic blunder for sure.
