It was the first mass produced jet fighter that was ready for combat.
The first German one was 1939 the He 178 (never mass produced, never saw combat)
The second German one was the He 280 in 1941 (never mass produced, never saw combat)
The Me 262 flew first on 1942.
Some of the "Kamikaze" Fi 103 were produced. When some where ready, the SO-Einsätze (Selbstopferungseinsätze = self sacrifice mission) were not carried out. It was never used for it´s purpose.
The Natter and the Komet were true point defense weapons. The Natter killed more in accidents than combat. 163 was amazing and VERY fast. Lippisch made one hell of a design. Big drawback was cyclic rate of her guns...could miss target if it fell within window of the cycle rate. The Volksfighter was amazing..and made to allow quick field repairs...though abit hard to get out of..Me262 was amazing..the Fi 103 was just insane.
@ThePendrag0n The Natter was so insane that the Air Force refused to fund it, it was the SS that provided the funds. The other designs were a result of brilliant minds combined with an insane project timetable - you can't have any more time, because our nation may not exist after the deadline, so get cracking! :)
Sorry, but I think, you are mixing some things up.
-The Natter killed it´s only test pilot and that was it. It saw not a single fight.
-The Me163 was as dangerous to it´s pilots as to the enemy and many pilots died because of the unstable fuel during start and landing.
The range was very short and the allies avoided the areas with Me163 bases. The final chapter was the bombing of the special fuel factories. From that day on the Me163 remained the rest of the war on the ground.
He 163 Salamander killed in their short career only one Hawker Typhoon and several German pilots. During a show flight parts of the 163 fell of because of bad glue for the wooden parts. The pilot was killed.
The Salamander was meant to be flown by inexperienced young pilots. By hastly in gliders trained Hitlerjugend. It was insane, because even if the 163 was meant easy to fly, it was difficult to fly. The engine on the back made it too sensitive for the bad educated young pilots.
@DarthDracon10 Gave them housing, medical care, jobs, salaries and for those who wanted to stay citizenship. Considering that the alternative was a bombed to hell Germany with none of the aforementioned or work with the Russians this was a sweet deal and likely didn't require much persuading.
Pulse Jet is Awesome Invention Indeed! Ive seen R/C Planes Fly with these.. The Internals are coated with Ceramic to keep it cool. The amazing Part NO Moving Parts ! (Did My Memory Serve Me Correct?) Nice Video *btw*
Where these projects really fail time and again is the lack of qualified pilots. Goering wanted to put teenage boys in those "people's fighters." Put a kid who can't even drive into a jet fighter. That's not happening.
the plane at 1.53 wasnt advanced and wasnt experimentle it was a intercept aircraft for high level bombers the entire plane was a bomb though the fuel tank was the plane itself and when u went up to eat some planes u would be out of fuel and had to dive back down to earth whare escorts would chew u up. lol
A lot of the jet fighters and advanced bombers were proposed in the early years of the war, but in hubris, Hitler and the leadership thought the propeller-driven planes were sufficient and saw the development of jet technology as a waste of money until they started loosing. And by then these advanced planes were too little too late.
that jet engine had a 10 hour life span. can you imagine 90 percent were destroy on the ground waiting for a replacement. that's farfegnugen for you. superior equipment my ass. no vonder dur dumbasses lost ze var.
this was a plywood airplane covered in cloth that was then painted. they put a liquid rocket in back, that was a mistake. a solid rocket motor would have been safer. in desparation these piolets without any training died for the fatherland.
the heinkel HE 162 looks alot like the american made A-10 and if you have seen a heinkel 111 bomber it looks alot like an american b-2 spirit bomber. this just shows how germany has influenced modern technology

@lynchi33 hardly dude, They have been used in a reconnaissance and intelligence-gathering role since the 1950s. In 2010 the use of drones by the US in Pakistan is responsible for hundreds of civilian deaths and further helps insurgents like the Taliban find plenty of new recruits.
@fluffy1931 still, maybe i exaggerated but 1950 compared to 1945 is still ahead of their time. we stole alot of good things from the nazis.better than our own. still used today. take the Jerry Can for example.so simple, yet practical
@lynchi33 your very practical wehrmacht fought a 20th century world war with 80% of its transport made up of horse drawn wagons. The US and UK had to make due with armed forces using motorized transport like trucks.
You forgot the GO229 ( although the final version never flew ) it was nearing completion when they ran out of money and the project was stored in a garage.
If Hitler had waited a few years more, we would have been in dire straits. As a matter of fact, they should have run over Russia first, then contemplated the West.
One of the reasons the 3rd Reich collapsed is because they spent so much money and industry chasing outlandish projects instead of churning out capable warplanes.Still, we owe alot to the German scientists and engineers who built them, without them the USA would not have visited the moon so soon.
@lknott93 smoke more crack assfag. germany never even constructed a working nuclear reactor prior or during WW2. change your diapers and tend your herd of unicorns nazi fagtard.
@fluffy1931 I didn't say anything about Germany having a nuclear reactor, open your eyes mate, plus there is no need to give comments like that, I could say things back but I'm more mature than you
@lknott93 get real dude, how could it change the course of the war or carry a atomic bomb. your post dude? It ca'nt carry a bomb that germany does not have. It ca'nt change the course of the war with it's puny payload. USAAF WW2 B-17 total tonnage bombs dropped in europe 640,036 tons B-24 452,508 tons all other aircraft 463,544 tons. RAF bomb fig not included. go count unicorns .
@fluffy1931 first of all, british radar at the time would not be able to detect it until it got at least 2 miles from the coast, it could easily drop a bomb on a radar station blinding the allies so bomber could get across safely and no other plane at the time could catch it, another thing Germany was close to making a nuclear weapon in 1945 and they would've used it if it finished. Again enough with mouth, have I said anything bad to you? NO, so show some respect
@lknott93 bomber has a puny payload . the germans never had a nuclear bomb.
did not come close to building one - except on the military channel watched by 12yr olds living in their mom and dads basement. germany did not construct a working nuclear reactor prior or during WW2. your bomber has a conventional payload that despite reaching England would not have effected the ground war in western europe. go back and count herds of unicorns.
@lknott93 Why the hell didn't the germans bomb the radar stations during the battle of britain when they had the chance? I guess with goering in charge it wasn't surprising!
@TheFunkadelicFan what? the radar sites were miles long all connected by wire around the coast, all you need is one bomb in between, and that disconnects the whole system. If you carpet bomb miles across with he-111's it would have created a huge problem. In fact during the battle of britain the did just that but thought they had only done minor damage and didn't try it again, but in fact they created a big problem for a few days trying to fix the blind spot they had .
@pramboy09 they didn't realise just how effective our radar system was. Other countries had radar at the time but it had limited use and they were nowhere near as developed as the British system so the Germans passed it off as nothing to worry about. Just another bad move out of many that cost the Germans the war.
@garystorey You may be right, but the luftwaffe knew how many aircraft the RAF had in service and if they had done their numbers they should have seen what the RAF were doing, not that i'm complaining (neither are my 127 new zealand countrymen in the battle complaining either!)
no mean to argue, ME163 was indeed the first plane to break the sound barrier on level flight (launch when it was towed form another plane), could not sostain due to the innapropiate airframe.
It is completely obvious to me that the Nazis should have developed all this high tech military jazz, and had it being produced on viable industrial scales, BEFORE they invaded the USSR and then brought the USA prematurely into the European theater of the War, [because this latter were then able to use Britain as a gigantic aircraft carrier].
nazi wanabees like to this the vermin nazis were far superior technoligicaly. It was realy much more of a colse run thing then they would admit. There were 3 activated squadons of P-80 in England before the nazis surrendered and they out calss ME262s. And for those that think a few dedisisions could have extended the war our brought about a truce. Who had the bomb? It was ment for you.
@IVANGROZNEY can you give me the proof (squadron number) of any p-80's in service in 1945 england? The 262 was ready for service if hitler had been on the ball in late 1942, luckily for all of us he decided he wanted them to carry bombs (take a look what the allies had in service back then.). After the war howard hughes with a captured 262 wanted to enter it in a competition against the p-80, the U.S government declined.
Most of these were dead-end technologies with no future. The Me163 only ever shot-down a handful of allied bombers, but killed many Germans pilots and groundcrew. The Me262 was excellent, but so was the British Gloster Meteor... had the war continued, there would have been allied jets to fight German jets. The Germans weren't smarter then the allies, they were just more desperate... their defeat was inevitable.
@CaptHollister The meteor was no where as good as the 262 it was around 100 mph slower. The only advantage the meteor had was it's engines which were far more reliable
Still, its interesting to speculate what would have happened if the war in europe had gone on to say - 1953??? Some very interesting developments in jet technology then.....
@wirbelsturm5 You are all living in a dream world, there is no such thing as a "Ayran" just an idiology of a madman, which is odd considering hitler himself was a short ugly little dark haired twat.
@wirbelsturm5 So because you are white you are pure and noble??Look i am white and as far as i can go back my ancestors are also but that doesn't make me bettter than anyone else or superior.
Illuminati=ET kin aka gods, Ea, Sirians, Satan, Pepsi, angels/demons, dragons, hulu, vampires, bluebloods, Al Gore, Windsors, Rothschilds, Rockefellars etc who rule cults like Freemasonry. Their agenda: continually cull/victimize people via vaccines/other toxins, Codex Alimentarius, carbon taxes, internet 2, WW3 then stage an alien invasion to get a fascist world government/religion with us chipped. Support Dr Deagle, Stewart Swerdlow, Oracle Broadcasting, gardeners and free-energy technology!
@wherewildthings I consider myself a "normal white guy" but i don't say becuase i am white that i am " an arian and that i am pure and noble" what sort of fucken idiot speaks like that??? I'll tell you who does a fucken white trashed racist fuckwit.
@pramboy09 I live in america If you go on witchunts you are no better than a nazi there are people who like the positive aspects of the ayran myth and are not racist or antisematic the person you are talking to is german if he takes it too far they will throw him in prison
@wherewildthings Witch hunts??? why don't you get off your high horse, if you start beleiveing you are an arian and are "pure and noble" because of your skin colour it all leads you down the path of the idiologies of the nazi party, thats where that sort of bullshit started from. I'm no better than a nazi?? Did i mention i wanted to round him up shove him in a concentration camp, and burn any books of his didn't like?? All i did have was an opinion which i am entitled to have as you are.
@pramboy09 some say it started from satanism personaly I think hitler and himmler hated humans period and I think they justified the murders by well they eat meat they did not care about the cow ect. thats were I think It comes from the aryan thing was to get confidence in battle antisemitism to get funding
@pramboy09 it comes from vegans ,every vegan I have ever met was a over the top nutjob If operation valkerie would have worked mabe the ayran thing would not be so stained mabe valkerie thought he was too pure and noble and ayran to put up with murder of innocent people
@pramboy09 well If there ayran they need to quit smoking, drinking, eating meat, have no mental disorders, stop having gay sex on meth, turn down the hot jewish girl, fuck blow up dolls insted of russian prostitutes,no more hunting, hey if thats what you want go for it
He's not saying all other worldviews are bad--just your evil, hateful worldview. Glad you have to live in a multicultural world with the rest of us. Too bad it scares you so much.
Evil? hateful ? on what things do you base this reproaches ?
every person should have the right to life well in ther own country but race mixing, multiculture ans other shit erase cultures, folks and nearly everthing that divide the human from other animals
i dont hate , i am pro or contry a thing after think about it and evil is relative
isn't that what japan did at the very end of the war but they sealed the pilot in so they could'nt bail out. i think the planes were called Yokosuka MXY7.
Yep, but the Japanese version had a rocket engine (like the ME163), much faster but had to be carried to the target due to very short range. The FI 103R (and/or V1) used a pulse jet engine.
Essentially yes, the idea was the pilot could aim the plane at the target, then bail out at the last minute. However due to the position of the air intake, the chances of bailing out successfully were negligible.
Oh they worked ok, and we are very lucky that Hitler did not put more time and resources into them much earlier in the war. A friend of mine i worked with, his dad was a bomber pilot in WW2 and him and his crew were shot down by one. The gunners on the bomber had never come up against one before and they were not leading them enough to hit them. Much faster then a prop plane.
The Russians let all the prisoners out of jail to attack Germany in exchange for "Freedom"
I don't think Hitler shot himself because he was spotted in South America. Buy why was he sporting the same side swipe hair cut in South America? check it out yourself!
I never really see these jets or planes flying in reality; just pictures of the before they crash or after they crash in a field with a jeep to pick the rocket up. Do you have video of them in FLIGHT combat action as opposed to looking fancy out of action posing with soldiers or next to a cow in a field or hanger hanging out?
it would seem you are a complete tosser for saying that as well guess the world would be a better place if the one so called super power that keeps causing shit for everyone else was to dissolve though that being the USA all big a mighty and not able to finish a fight
it is big lose that germany completely lost the war ,it would be a better world if it was be 3 superpowers usa and germany and ussr.....better technology better justice
The truth about the UFOs is not little green men Its American pilots in deep cover operations. thats why we only see the so called UFOs at night 80% of the time. Germany in ww2 made many top secret flying planes that we see today as UFOs. when we were taking Germany in 1943-1945 we found most of the V-2 Rocket Tec other Tecs like Ho IX, Go 229 rocket propulsion systems and so on. So when you look in the sky and think you see a UFO its really America showing its hard on...
In the early years of the war germany OWNED everything ...
The Spitfire NEEDED 8 (!) versions to be at the same level as the Fw-190 A-3 so yeah, just believe what your great history teacher is trying to teach you ... One of the big "fails" which germany made is that they attacked russia to early and they went just straight to moscow without securing their sides (thats why germany lost the battle of stalingrad), Hitler also got wrong informations from his commanders.
You have no idea of what your talking about. Russia had the best tanks at in the first 2 years of wwii. As for Stalingrad it had nothing to do with securing their flanks, that was a fucking retarded statement, the flanks were not open, you have no idea how the Germans got surrounded.
Panzermacher your one of the dumbest people I've ever seen on the web ...
So you really think that these planes are all faked ones ? Well HOW could Erich Hartmann flew the Me-262 then ? Or Rudi Schmitt the He-162 ? Did you also know that some Jews made the engines for the Me-262 or He-162 ? Yeah they did ...
By the way, the americans imported some of the jets (mostly He-162 and some Me-262, I think they just found 4 or 5 Me-162 Kraftei Rocket Jets)
At 3:50 your statement is correct and just to add, not only did the US (and Russians) take the tech, but the Brains behind them also, imported them into the US where they continued to make rockets and other areas which took different skills culminating into the exposure of MK-Ultra in the 80's, so you have a crashed V2 rocket North of Roswell about 100 miles away from white sands missile range in New Mexico and a few hundred Nazi's also... "Flying Saucer Crash" covered operation "Paperclip"
So when we talk of the "Roswell Incident" do we really mean a crashed "spaceship" and their "aliens"... a V2 was the first spaceship which reached lower earth orbit also the "aliens" could be "illegal" aliens, as the paperclip operation was slightly...how shall we say... not very welcomed, any bullshit to make the public and media go in a different direction was needed, took about 5-10 years to ease these "Germans" into American society as harmless "scientists" etc, the truth is out there...
since when has a v2 rocket looked like a cresent shaped craft ?there was no big secret about the v2 as they were fired at london daily.and they were more of a propergander weapon than anything else as more than half crashed in the english channel
Witnesses around Roswell reported "a tail of fire" thats a rocket test(s), also your right about the V2, news reels told the American public that the US had "Captured German Rockets" fair enough right? ok... can you show me the news reels informing the US public (not to mention American servicemen/woman) informing them also of operation paperclip? forgetting about the Nuremberg Trials of course and everything else, WWII just over, Nazis living and working in the US, newsworthy? or saucer worthy?
So the cover of "saucer crash" for the public and media to swallow was good? no... stupid, it drew far far more attention towards that area, so balloon it was and the story went away...but from film, TV, books, bullshit merchants with a UFO story and a picture of a hubcap thrown into the air, 1977 was a weird year, Close Encounters of the Third Kind and Von Braun died that year to, UFOs..the myth used to entertain and to cover dubious decisions in government.
This is all obviously LIES, Germany NEVER had such Machines, they were Technologically BACKWARDS you want proof!!
Jews carrying gassed Jews over their shoulders to the incinerators, or dragging them with a hooked steel rod under the chin or on a stretcher or "lifts" operated by ropes & pulleys!!! that's the proof.
These are obviously nothing more than miniature Balsa wood models carved by Jewish inmates using nothing more than a blunt butter knife & some clever trick photography!!!
Dude I'm telling you, all the Technology in the alleged "Holocaust" pre-dates the invention of the wheel, therefore these weapons systems could not have possibly existed, it's that simple.
If it's Technologically impossible for the "Holocaust" to happen as alleged, then it didn't happen.
The Germans were so far ahead in technology, that another year longer, and the war could of turned out very different. I'm amazed by what the Germans were doing, it is almost too much for mere words.
Just about everything we have even now, came from them. Space Shuttles, Stealth fighters, Jet fighters, ICBM's, cruise missles, etc etc. Hell, they even had a few inventions that we havent tried to build yet! Like a rocket fighter (ME 163 Komet).
i wish that the war had never start, it ruined germany and the first thing when you hear germany is.....nazi or hitler. that sucks. i hate it.
but i hope we can look at the future, i talk often to americans in teamspeak. :D also the political thing is important and i think that something like "hitler" never happens again. if it happens, i will come to america. :P
@CrawnighT wakeup, where do you think most of the nazis fled ?america, the german eagle is virtually the sam as the american one.doesnt neo conservatives ring a bell ?.america is the new nazi power, has been for years.
cause a rocket fighter is bullshit^^ a jez fighter can fly much longer ways and if a "rocket fighter" gets to fast its gettin' instabil sry for my english
Well, with the new technology, I think that a new rocket fighter (based off of the ME 163 Komet) could be built, and would be much safer and have a much longer range. But who knows? A aero company here in the USA was looking into it last year, but abandon the project.
The Germans I know have a real good work ethic, and are also very respectful of their superiors authority...real disiplined. And they have the spirt of inventevness.
@calimar28 hey assfag. germany used more horses than Napolean did during the invasion of Russia. Because they way ahead in technology and look so cool. Space shuttles that explode like clockwork penis breath? how about all those moon rocks or that shitty space station ? go fuck yourself sideways assfag.
@calimar28 Of course you have had rocket fighters. Check out the amazing 1950s and 1960s Republic aircraft, both experimental and in service. And those didn't explode on landing like the Me163. And they weren't rooted in German research, but from the genius of Seversky and Kartvelli. Don't put yourself down. The superiority of German engineering is a bit of a wartime myth. One of the reasons they took Czech was to get their hands on Skoda!
I read somewhere that the fuel used in the comet rocket plane was so corrosive that on one occasion some leaked and dissolved the pilot. Nothing was left of him but his rubber protective suit. That did not work. They did not know what had happened it was only because the thing did not take off.
the actual first jet powered flight was before ww2 even begun. don't quite remember the name but it was heinkal and it was downed almost immediatly by a bird...lol... it had a wooden frame and was a little bigger than the me-163 comet
incident you mentioned, is true. They started the engine, and a bird flew by in front of the air-intake - whoops ! Don't know, if the engine was damaged or destroyed, poor birdie was for sure ...
Im sorry to hear sentences like He-162 never asw action or Junkers Jumo 004 engine that powered the Me 262 did not reach (quantative) production ultil Isspring of 1944...
First of all, the He-162 SAW action ... The JG1 received in 1945 about 30 He-162 which 2 were lost infight and about 13 during take off and landing ... So yeah, the He-162 never saw action (by the way, the He-162 shot nearly 20 P-51 down).
Well the Junkers Jumo 004 reached the production in August 1943 ...
The Air Museum Planes of Fame has what is believed to be the only operating Argus Pulse Jet engine in the world. We also have replicas of the V-1 Buzz Bomb, Heinkel He-100D-1, Me-163B Komet, Ba-349 Natter. We also have an authentic Fieseler Fi-156C Storch, Hispano Ha-1112 M1L Buchon (Spanish built Me-109G), He-162A-2 Volksjager, and 1 of 2 known existing Horten Ho IV Flying Wing Gliders. When you remove the idiology and politics of the time, German engineers were impressive and accomplished.
It was a prototype of course without weapons and stuff like that ... The Me-163 flew in 1942 as a glider to test the aerodynamic without rocket engine :)
second, as the nazi situation became more hopeless, desperate and ingenious projects were developed ... Hell yeah, the Me-262 was started in 1937, god germany was so hopeless at this time ... The He-162 was developed in 9 months that true, but not the Bachem, Fieseler or anything else ... (by the way, the first Me-163 Kraftei flew in 1942 :D)
Just keep commenting guys, I like to laugh and your comments make me laugh xD
I love the american and british people who got NO clue and just start commenting xD
First, Hitler asked in 1941 (when the Me262 flew the first time) if it could carry bombs, the engineers said yes it could carry 2x 250 KG (SC 250 or AB) bombs so he wanted to make a "Blitzbomber" (like the Arado 234 was), but Galland said that the Me-262 would be the greatest fighter at this time and he doesnt want to be the general of the fighters anymore if this plane is going to be a blitzbomber
The Me262 wasn´t the first jet fighter.
It was never used for it´s purpose.

lynchi33 1 year ago

One of the reasons the 3rd Reich collapsed is because they spent so much money and industry chasing outlandish projects instead of churning out capable warplanes.Still, we owe alot to the German scientists and engineers who built them, without them the USA would not have visited the moon so soon.

fluffy1931 1 year ago
@fluffy1931 I didn't say anything about Germany having a nuclear reactor, open your eyes mate, plus there is no need to give comments like that, I could say things back but I'm more mature than you
lknott93 1 year ago
@lknott93 get real dude, how could it change the course of the war or carry a atomic bomb. your post dude? It ca'nt carry a bomb that germany does not have. It ca'nt change the course of the war with it's puny payload. USAAF WW2 B-17 total tonnage bombs dropped in europe 640,036 tons B-24 452,508 tons all other aircraft 463,544 tons. RAF bomb fig not included. go count unicorns .
fluffy1931 1 year ago
@fluffy1931 first of all, british radar at the time would not be able to detect it until it got at least 2 miles from the coast, it could easily drop a bomb on a radar station blinding the allies so bomber could get across safely and no other plane at the time could catch it, another thing Germany was close to making a nuclear weapon in 1945 and they would've used it if it finished. Again enough with mouth, have I said anything bad to you? NO, so show some respect
lknott93 1 year ago
@lknott93 bomber has a puny payload . the germans never had a nuclear bomb.
did not come close to building one - except on the military channel watched by 12yr olds living in their mom and dads basement. germany did not construct a working nuclear reactor prior or during WW2. your bomber has a conventional payload that despite reaching England would not have effected the ground war in western europe. go back and count herds of unicorns.
fluffy1931 1 year ago
@lknott93 Why the hell didn't the germans bomb the radar stations during the battle of britain when they had the chance? I guess with goering in charge it wasn't surprising!
pramboy09 1 year ago
@pramboy09 They tried. It's actually incredibly difficult to hit such a small target with ww2 technology.
TheFunkadelicFan 1 year ago
@TheFunkadelicFan what? the radar sites were miles long all connected by wire around the coast, all you need is one bomb in between, and that disconnects the whole system. If you carpet bomb miles across with he-111's it would have created a huge problem. In fact during the battle of britain the did just that but thought they had only done minor damage and didn't try it again, but in fact they created a big problem for a few days trying to fix the blind spot they had .
pramboy09 1 year ago
@pramboy09 they didn't realise just how effective our radar system was. Other countries had radar at the time but it had limited use and they were nowhere near as developed as the British system so the Germans passed it off as nothing to worry about. Just another bad move out of many that cost the Germans the war.
garystorey 1 year ago
@garystorey You may be right, but the luftwaffe knew how many aircraft the RAF had in service and if they had done their numbers they should have seen what the RAF were doing, not that i'm complaining (neither are my 127 new zealand countrymen in the battle complaining either!)

IVANGROZNEY 2 years ago

CaptHollister 2 years ago
@CaptHollister The meteor was no where as good as the 262 it was around 100 mph slower. The only advantage the meteor had was it's engines which were far more reliable

isn't that what japan did at the very end of the war but they sealed the pilot in so they could'nt bail out. i think the planes were called Yokosuka MXY7.
ajom010k 2 years ago
Yep, but the Japanese version had a rocket engine (like the ME163), much faster but had to be carried to the target due to very short range. The FI 103R (and/or V1) used a pulse jet engine.
SemtexOnline 2 years ago
is the Fieseler FI 103R plane at 1:05 basicly a v1 rocket with a place for a person to sit in it..
ajom010k 2 years ago
Essentially yes, the idea was the pilot could aim the plane at the target, then bail out at the last minute. However due to the position of the air intake, the chances of bailing out successfully were negligible.
SemtexOnline 2 years ago
@SemtexOnline Wasn't the manned V1 a quick way to fault find the problem they had with the gyrator or something?

Oh they worked ok, and we are very lucky that Hitler did not put more time and resources into them much earlier in the war. A friend of mine i worked with, his dad was a bomber pilot in WW2 and him and his crew were shot down by one. The gunners on the bomber had never come up against one before and they were not leading them enough to hit them. Much faster then a prop plane.

ColdWizardius 2 years ago 3
You have no idea of what your talking about. Russia had the best tanks at in the first 2 years of wwii. As for Stalingrad it had nothing to do with securing their flanks, that was a fucking retarded statement, the flanks were not open, you have no idea how the Germans got surrounded.

ha! b6gm6n you are sooooo full of absolute poo!! where were u educated?! you don't happen to be american do you?
AshaduB 2 years ago
At 3:50 your statement is correct and just to add, not only did the US (and Russians) take the tech, but the Brains behind them also, imported them into the US where they continued to make rockets and other areas which took different skills culminating into the exposure of MK-Ultra in the 80's, so you have a crashed V2 rocket North of Roswell about 100 miles away from white sands missile range in New Mexico and a few hundred Nazi's also... "Flying Saucer Crash" covered operation "Paperclip"
b6gm6n 2 years ago
So when we talk of the "Roswell Incident" do we really mean a crashed "spaceship" and their "aliens"... a V2 was the first spaceship which reached lower earth orbit also the "aliens" could be "illegal" aliens, as the paperclip operation was slightly...how shall we say... not very welcomed, any bullshit to make the public and media go in a different direction was needed, took about 5-10 years to ease these "Germans" into American society as harmless "scientists" etc, the truth is out there...
b6gm6n 2 years ago
since when has a v2 rocket looked like a cresent shaped craft ?there was no big secret about the v2 as they were fired at london daily.and they were more of a propergander weapon than anything else as more than half crashed in the english channel
MrOutofthis 2 years ago
Witnesses around Roswell reported "a tail of fire" thats a rocket test(s), also your right about the V2, news reels told the American public that the US had "Captured German Rockets" fair enough right? ok... can you show me the news reels informing the US public (not to mention American servicemen/woman) informing them also of operation paperclip? forgetting about the Nuremberg Trials of course and everything else, WWII just over, Nazis living and working in the US, newsworthy? or saucer worthy?
b6gm6n 2 years ago
So the cover of "saucer crash" for the public and media to swallow was good? no... stupid, it drew far far more attention towards that area, so balloon it was and the story went away...but from film, TV, books, bullshit merchants with a UFO story and a picture of a hubcap thrown into the air, 1977 was a weird year, Close Encounters of the Third Kind and Von Braun died that year to, UFOs..the myth used to entertain and to cover dubious decisions in government.

As an American, let me say this:
The Germans were so far ahead in technology, that another year longer, and the war could of turned out very different. I'm amazed by what the Germans were doing, it is almost too much for mere words.
Just about everything we have even now, came from them. Space Shuttles, Stealth fighters, Jet fighters, ICBM's, cruise missles, etc etc. Hell, they even had a few inventions that we havent tried to build yet! Like a rocket fighter (ME 163 Komet).

Heinkel He 178 is the name of the plane. The
incident you mentioned, is true.
