  • Arcade Fire has recently used this in their opening sequence when they show movie trailers from "The Warriors" and "Over the Edge" It is pretty awesome!

  • Drive-in movie novel The Dare Island Enigma see video book trailer

  • WOW! Thanks for posting this! They still play this at the theater in my old town, and I can't think of movies without this music. Great stuff! Youtube rules!

  • There is still a Grindhouse cinema where i live, but now shows only hollywood films.

  • ya one of my favorite films dawn of the dead people were aparently grossed out by the gory scenes when it first came out obviously those people never saw a explotation film

  • CAN YOU SEND ME A COPY OF THIS FILE?

  • Oh, and you spelled "Feature PresentatioN" wrong. You put a "m" there.

  • BTW Filmack created this and it is still being sold to movie theaters today.

  • In my local "old fashion" theater chain in Downtown Schenectady, they showed this logo, not only under the "Feature Presentation" banner, but under another message saying "Coming Attractions to a Theater Near You". I don't know if they use this now, but they used this circa 2003 and 2004.

  • Actually, I said that wrong. It was actually "Previews of Coming Attractions" that was also seen beside the "Feature Presentation" bumper.

  • I've seen this one played at University Mall Theater in Fairfax, VA. Before their Rocky Horror Picture Show

  • Where did the soundtrack come from? A 70's video game? Dreadful!

  • What the hell are you talking about? This music kicks ass and It brings back memories!

  • @tripjet999 DREADFUL?!?! This shit is the soundtrack to my theater-going youth. I can't go to any theater without hearing that music. It's awesome!

  • What is Grindhouse?

  • a grindhouse is a nick name given to a cinema that showed explotation films back to back in the 70s,

They were found in the most run down areas most famously new yorks 42nd streeet

  • Yeah, I'm only 21 but I remember seeing a grindhouse in the Bronx growing up.

  • or you maybe refering to the recent film that is a homage to exploiatation flicks. the film is a double feature Death Proof and Planet Terror

  • Never seen this before, cool.I still go to the drive in.WE have 2 still operating.

  • they use the COMING SOON version in GRINDHOUSE

  • I've never seen this one;cool. When did it debut?

  • very nice where did you get this

  • this was on grindhouse right before death proof started

  • I've been going to the drive-in for 28 years, and I've never seen this intro, cool. What year did it debut;it sounds like 70's music.

  • I think this was in Grindhouse.

  • It was! Briefly though and with a "COMING SOON" message instead of "FEATURE PRESENTATION."

  • The music sounds like it would be also an intro to a classic nintendo game.

  • Ah! This brings warm feelings to my heart!

This clip is used at Cinema Arts in Fairfax, Virginia, one of my favorite movie houses.

  • I think this clip is really along with the one that Mr. Green428 has too.

  • This may still be in use. The Drive-in 45 miles north of where I am used that intro before their features, and to mark the intermission last year, and they may still have it today. This clip has been favourited

  • Groovy.

  • Agreed.
