@inachu Of course there's psychotics in our water supply, but there's absolutely no evidence that these drugs have any effect on a person's gender identity.
Case in point? Transgender people that transitioned before tainted water. Charley Parkhurst is a a very early example of a transgender man. He lived from 1812 to 1879, which was far before any psychotic drugs existed.
It's something that you're born with, it has nothing to do with tainted water or social influence.

No case or no case study? Bwahahahaha you have not done any valid research when the research has already been made! Part of the study which first started with pollouted farm run off into rivers. Frogs born with multiple sex organs or legs or no sex organs at all. Water run off from farms is healthier than the rivers we drink from.
The only clean water is valcanic water. The study in depth study was on FRONTLINE.

That was before we had done anything to the water supply.
That was before psychiatric drugs existed.
The fact that transgender people exist before the cause you are citing makes it completely invalid.
Birth defects happen all of the time. But being transgender isn't a physical birth defect. You're trying to be scientific about it, but it sounds like you need to research the subject more.

What I posted was common knowledge that human chemicals have affact on the human body. That is for today. Back then perhaps even Japanese dealt with chemicals invented by chinese to create rockets or ammo for guns when the english arrive. @inachu There have been no studies on the effects of "tainted water" on transgender individuals. There's such a small population that you wouldn't even have a large enough sample size to have any sort of conclusive evidence.
And it's not media sensationalism, it's recorded history. Examples of transgender people before the introduction of chemicals to the water supply: Billy Tipton (1930's), Catalina de Erauso (1600's), Chevalier d'Eon (1700's), Charley Parkhurst (1850's).

@inachu I haven't read all of your conversation so apologies if I misinterpreted something, but it seems to me like you are confusing gender identity with genitals (in reference to the water run off and frogs), which are largely independent of each other.

@TransManJay In defense of those of us not trans, pronouns are the hardest thing to change. They are deeply ingrained in werneke's area of the brain, so please be patient with us! I always try to remember with my transfriend, but I knew him preop, so even though I have changed the name, sometimes I slip on the pronouns. I try hard not to, though. No disrespect intended.

@blackhorse099 I think a person is whatever they say they are. I don't know KyFord23 so I can't speak for him. What I can say is that no one should make assumptions about a person. You should ask hir what they prefer to be called/known as, and go from there. No one knows a person better than they know themselves. You are only as gay or straight or other as you say you are.

I'm a performer and I've been holding off on T because I'm currently enlisted in the military but as soon as I get out I want to start transition and I'm curious as to how much of an effect it will have on my performance ability, especially my singing voice. Unfortunately, I was not only given a female body, I was given a good voice too...I'd like to think I can keep that part ;) I appreciate your feedback; there is only so much digging I can do while enlisted...or risk discharge. --Jason

First, I'm fucking thrilled for you, I watch a lot of vids about FTM transitioning but your shared journey is incredible. I have a question: do you sing at all, even in the shower? And if so, did you notice a change in your ability to sing while on T, like obvi your pitch but any other things like the actual quality of your voice?
