@den525 The Ducati has gotten worse relative to the field every year since 2007. That's why Stoner won 10 races in 2007, 6 in 2008, 4 in 2009 and only 3 last year. Rossi is getting it when it's at it's worst. Just look at Hayden's results this year compared to last year.

I'm not sure why you think Stoner is faster than Lorenzo but I seriously doubt that. Jorge is incredibly fast (though not too popular apparently). Stoner has great speed but he's not as tough as Rossi or Lorenzo.

@sandman1347 They don't use worse bikes year after year, it's just the slowing rate of the progress at Ducati..And Rossi's barely managed to go any faster than Casey did on the older bike last year..Hayden's having a very similar season to last year,although his teammate isn't quite obliterating him this season..Vale is prolly the greatest, but he isn't having the best time right now, and he isn't the fastest anymore,although he is still just as skilled in battling,much like Schumacher in F1 now

Stoner is fast but not faster than Lorenzo or Rossi when he was in his prime. The Honda is the fastest bike this year and Casey has proven to be quicker than Dovi but I think Dani would be more of a handfull if he were healthy.

Stoner's as fast as they come but he's not in a different league like some people want to suggest and he's not as good in a battle as Rossi or Lorenzo.

@sandman1347 Stoner is as good as they come, Rossi has proved since moving to Ducati what a handful that bike is, and Stoner won races consistently with that same bike. Stoner is better than Lorenzo, not too sure how close he would be compared to Rossi when he was at his prime.

Dovizioso, many riders and every person that worked with Casey in MotoGP, know that he don't use traction control and electronic things at all... Just look at how he ride the Ducati and now the Honda, always with crazy drifting, powerslides and wheelies... He's an incredible rider, with infinite and pure talent for driving, none is like him... Rossi is a complete champ, but Stoner is more talented, end of story...

@MrAlucard222 stoner does use traction control and anti-wheelie control and launch control just like the other riders. If you listen to his bike exiting a corner you cant hear the traction control holding it back though, so he must have it on low settings and as you say its sliding around all the time, but it would be un-rideable without the electronics. I agree with you about his talent, he is awesome, the fastest rider in the world today by a long way.

He could still ride it, but it would chuck him off as he banged down through the gears and entered a corner, never mind trying to get the power on at the apex. as for the turbocharged f1 cars, beasts, and in my opinion a higher class of driver in them. senna, mansell, prost would beat all current f1 drivers.

It's really not too different when you think about it, countersteer and throttle control is the key bike or kart, let the throttle off on either and you'll be in a bad way.

Lol not a real shocker. Massa is just not an amazingly good racer. I'm telling you guys, some F1 racers are overrated. Just watch the autocar.co.uk's epidsode in which the host can drive the Honda F1 car for a day and at the end of the day nearly matches the test-driver's laptimes. Okay, there is a lot more to winning F1 races than just lap times..but still, Stoner beating Massa does not really surprise me. Love these mixed-up races though. Music sucks mad balls by the way!
