J.R. and King did a great job aswell, exaggerating the sadistic nature of triple h through their commentating skills. J.R. calling for the match to be stop because of concern for waltman's kneck and even more genius commentating from Jerry Lawler, who was a heel commentator at the time, saying that triple h was going to far. A genius way of getting a heel over. Definitely helped in putting more heat on triple h. The way waltmen was selling the injury was also very important.
Genius match psychology was employed in this match. Sean kayfabing a kneck injury and then triple h barbarically showing no remorse in exploiting that injury in order to get himself more over as a ruthless heel that he would become later on. It's stuff like this that made Triple h the greatest heel of his generation.

Wwe is just more about storylines and entertainment than sport. The sport is real. But they don't care who wins or loses. They just bout entertainment wwe doesn't make the wrestlers the fans make them. With out the fans they wouldn't even be on the show. If you are a wrestler you know that you blow up quick in the wwe than anywhere else. People like Rvd sabu ultimo dragon and undertaker are too big for anywhere.
@killerdemon227 You summed it up well. It is real...the storylines are not. If you want to be technical on definition of sport then why are curling, ping pong, nascar, golf considered sports? You have to be somewhat of a talented athlete to do wrestling and especially talented to be a cruiserweight who flies. But for the most part 85% of them are very talented athletes.
@aquarianbabe yeah the storylines allows the use of stipulation meaning they can customize the match. and also hides the way the system works. it runs like a tournament and thats why it all ends at wrestlemania. and certain tournaments end at main events and new ones start. so theres also free fight and theres alot of ranking involved. and if you loose alot you might loose your job so you also have to be carefull cause if you get injured that might be it for you.

@thedeadman109 i dno,i think he was a pretty good worker when he was the 1 2 3 kid but when he came back from WCW i thort his in ring work ws pretty sloppy gotta bit too big for his boots IMO.plus the guy couldn't cut a promo to save his life
@thedeadman109 Agreed, the 1-2-3 kid/Syxx/X-pac was always entertaining in the ring. if you hav'nt. watch 1-2-3 kid vs Bret Hart Raw is War for the WWF title. it is literaly on of the best matches of all time! not too many people have the ability to allow bret to showcase himself
