Witches do not believe in Satan. Satan is a Christian concept. Paganism is a heathen religion. (A religion that does not believe in Christ) Just because you believe one thing, that doesn't mean everything else is evil. As far as "crossroads" is concerned, from the Bible's point of view, there is no justification for belief that the devil can give someone talent. If God is the creator of everything that makes up a person, and Satan, like any other angel can't create (if he could, it would give him creator status and he'd be like God), then theoretically, he wouldn't be able to give you talent. He could go as far as convincing others to give you money or opportunities, and pull strings for you, that's it.

This is another contradiction that doesn't get resolved for me personally, he promises he will bless those who are faithful, but then he doesn't. Job's context was completely different tho - a divine bet.

Technically, if you don't understand why he did it, it was unnecessary too in your eyes, and why wouldn't it be? If God knows that Job won't lose faith, making a bet with his adversary *because* of the adversary's challenge (which is how the Bible explains it, no way around it) is not only unnecessary, but cruel to the highest degree without killing him (which is how the Bible explains it too). The adversary was permitted to do whatever he wanted except taking the life.

If you had kids, and they got killed, and God gave you new kids, you wouldn't call it a reward. You'd miss your dead kids. If God killed them just because Satan challenges him to a bet (which IS what the book of Job says), you wouldn't find it rewarding, especially if you knew that God knew all along that you would stay faithful.

He basically let the satan do what he wanted (except taking Job's life) to show satan He was right. He never gave Job an explanation, like you suggest he did. He told Job to shut up when Job complained, because he is God and Job isn't.

Why God did it: The adversary approached him and challenged him to a bet. God said he could do anything he wanted, except taking Job's life (which, if there is an afterlife, is the kindest thing he could do to Job, right?). Not only did God take his protection from Job, but from Job's family. When Job finally gets upset and asks God, God says "I am the bigges there is, and I can do whatever I want, so shut up and put up." And THAT, is what the story says, no matter how many times you read it.

@wilddoguk there is no black magic, only of those who believe in the darkness, nature shows that without there is without with the other, darkness always give way to light. She has clearly lost the path of those who came before us. They teach us no wrong, only that we do not reseat the errors of the past, there is no 'devil' craft, as how can a group believe in something that people don't worship in?

this is crazy.. I hope to GOd that this woman is saved an impacting the world for Christ.. I would assume she has a fire to cast out demons since she overcame that battle.. I hope she filled with the HOLY GHOST: with the evidence of speaking in tounges (Acts 2:4)

The Crusades, the Witch Trials, dozens of atrocities committed against Jews, Pagans, and fellow Christians who saw the world differently - all past harms in the name of your god and your book.
