Great flik to work in. I was holding the ladder by torchlight in that night scene. Built Virgil Cole's house. Ed Harris and Viggo Mortenson were great to work with in every scene we did. Viggo made it a point to let me check out the weaponry he was carrying. The armorer showed me the shotgun. Ed shook hands with me and said "Thank You' after the last ''Night Shoot'. What more could anyone ask. Great film.

Promises' will be go down in film history! & still haven't figured out that film! - and the final gunfight in 'Appoloosa' Viggo is standing in that kinda' flamenco/ballet, bullfight stance - never seen that in a western before - bet that was Viggo's idea!
