@CJHarrisGTA software that allows several operating systems to run on one computer simultaneously. On servers, it simplifies and reduces hardware costs and can increase reliability. On desktops it can make a good testing environment. I use it primarily to learn with since I can run a whole network of machines without needing to buy a lot of hardware.
i am a windows 7 user at the moment and i am fixing my vista computer by replacing the operating system with ubuntu linux but when i upload linux ubuntu to a usb which it says i can but when i boot the computer with my usb it just boots normaly can anyone help please :)
@1zinzanzin You need to modify your BIOS boot sequence. When your computer starts there should be an option to enter setup. The boot sequence is there. If you see Windows, you are already to late to catch the BIOS. Make sure your motherboard is capable of booting to USB. (I don't know what option enters into your BIOS.)
A friend with an MSDN subscription. There are many ISO files available for trials, but I haven't seen MS put it on the Internet as a trial yet. All I've seen so far is a VHD for VirtualPC.
At 2:09 (and similar screens) you probably could have clicked "Always Trust from Sun Microsystems Inc." Nice video though, I use VMWare Player (I used to use VB but VMWare has AERO SUPPORT) but I have Windows Server 2008 R2 installed instead of Windows 7.
Yes, you are correct. I thought of that, but most of my videos are for beginners and I want them to know that it is normal to get all those pop-ups. Someone might worry that they were doing something wrong. VMWare makes fine products as does VirtualBox. I've recently been disappointed by VPC's lack of support for 64 bit clients. I'll have to check out the Player.
Thx :) I'm german.
This is a very good TuToRiaL.
I understood everythin' thaty you said because it was very clearly.

@bvestationfan: No, I have 4GB of RAM. That 16 GB is strange. I'm not sure where that number came from.
