A stock 302 block would be fine however you'd want to get a built short block and a procharger and you're on your way to making 500whp+. A procharger and a brand new forged 302 short block still isn't even $10,000 lol... For under $10,000 I can make more like 550whp+++ all day long. I make 620whp/570tq on mine :)

It would be dangerous to use the stock driveshaft and the rear end needs to be upgraded to the 31 spline axles along with an aftermarket LSD to get that power to the gound. The control arms get the axle squat under control and the rest of the suspension manages the power. I like complete builds.

So if you have that kind of cash flow you could of built something way faster. But none the less its a cool car, and its a 2V which is faster then my LS1. I never thought Id say that.

what kind of Magnaflow Exhaust do u have? Sounds like you need to upgrade your blowoff valve, it shouldnt flutter like that. I have a Vortech Mondo, works very well. I have pretty much the same set-up but with 25psi, TEA satge 2 heads and CMS Stage 3 cams.
How the hell are you running a 90 mm Lightning MAF? That thing should be pegged seriously at that power. And i don't believe you listed what rods you're using. Cheers!
