  • Neat down changes with double declutching--the correct way!

  • nice

  • They will never be as good as Brocky. As someone here comments the new lot too precious to talk on Camera. watching bathurst this year it really made me wonder why it wasnt the same and THAT lack of talking was the reason. Oh yeah and the sunrise wankers farking it up, I miss this bloke who always used to call it - maybe he's dead too.

  • I don't think the Holden 5.0litre was banned. I think most teams just decided to switch over to the more powerful Chev motor.

And I though teams didn't switch to the Chev motor until the VR

  • @galahsaustralia From what I remember, the Levels 1 Holden teams were to use only Chev motors and Level 2 Privateers could use the Holden V8 from 1994-on. Larry Perkins VP Commodore was the last Holden V8 to win the 1000.

  • The old Holden V8 sounds unreal!

  • @galahsaustralia - Sorry, only Perkins was running the "old Holden V8" that year, and it was banned by '94. Everyone else had gone over to the Chevy 5.0-litre for the start of what became V8Supercars.

  • Turning the wheel with one hand. THAT'S driving.

Might be a Ford fan, but god i love Brock...

  • That was an awesome video. Makes it look so effort less. My favorite Aussie racing vid(and only one i really know) is the Volvo 240 group a vs the 635 csi at the Bathurst 100 in 1985.

  • Thanks for puttin the Lusty bros on!! Brocky forever!!

  • "so what i'm doing is steering with one hand and then booting it!!"

I LOVE IT, WHAT A LEGEND!!

  • Yeah true Aussie through and through. Makes me proud to be Australian anyway :).

  • @Muggo05 Yep says it all Brocky you legend, missed by one and all and Bathurst has never been the same since RIP PB

  • It's a pity the modern drivers are too precious to talk on camera during a race anymore.......

  • I remember there was a round at Bathurst (not the 1000) and they were talking to Dick Johnson and he lost it through the chase as they were talking to him. All the commentators were shit scared he was going to come and punch them out for distracting him but it turns out his rear spoiler colapased at top speed :), that's probably on youtube

  • rip brocky funny man

  • rip brockey

  • Good ole Brock 'n' Moffat, greta pair!!! And so funny too!!!

  • we will miss brocky, ill never forget him. my little brother even went as far as putting 05 on the back of his basketball jumper when he played basketball, even wearing an arm band.

  • alright you fuckin goose, why the disrespect????. i was just expressing how i felt about brocky. if you dont like my comment then fuck off ok u stupidfuck.

  • sorry but it was lame. you should read it. its funny actually how far your brother went..what with the number 5 and the armband. good on him tho seriously. haha

  • its jam3z07, if u dont like my comment then fuck off. simple as that. i believe that ur reply to my first comment was as lame as any other comment i've ever written.

  • I'm a huge ford fan but the day i heard

that brock had died it was very sad stuff.

  • I'm with you FordFusion59,even though this is my name is Brock8(I own a Peter Brock EA Falcon),I'm a big Dick Johnson fan.

I visited DJR the day Peter passed away and saw Peter's 1980 around Australia winning Rally Commodore at Paul Morris racing the same day, couldn't believe someone as talented

as Peter died in a racing crash, very sad day for Australian motorsport indeed. R.I.P.Brocky.

  • LOL 'you always were good with one hand' haha I can't believe that he's just having a chat whilst holding a car in gear at one of the most demanding tracks in the world.

Ha and I love how he takes a dig at the pansy overseas drivers haha.

  • good old brocky, he's always got time to have a chat, and race at the same time.

  • I hope it was a 500hp motor for 20 grand :S a stock rebuild is about 2000 something :)

  • he should get a VS SS rather than keep the old VN SS, because the later models are more reliable these days. but the old VN styling, it looks tough and aggressive lol.

  • But the VN is lighter and faster so who cares about more rattles the engines are exactly the same anyways :)

  • well.... im thinking about getting a VS, because the gearbox is starting to play up. sure, the VN is lighter, and faster, but it's not as stiff as the newer VS. in fact, i might even get a VS AND keep the VN lol

  • Yeah they seem to get more floppy with age:) I wouldn't mind swapping all my VP irs 5 litres driveline into a VS roller with irs one day

  • it depends what sort of commodore your driving. my old man's VN SS V8 commodore broke down and it failed. we took it in for a look, and no matter what we did, it didn't ever start up again, untill we had the motor rebuilt, which cost us about $20,000. and the point is that it's done about 580,000 on the old motor

  • Brocky the legend. A Commodore may brake but it will never quit on ya. I got a vk with 450,000k on it and still running strong and i admit i give it a floggin everytime i drive her.

  • Very funny. Obviously the rivalry between Moffat and Brock had lost none of its bite!! Awesome!!!

  • Great stuff!!!! 2 of the best.

  • why couldn't they leave the cars alone and keep the Group A bodykit? they looked like real racecars

  • Bloody brilliant. Brought back great memories.

  • aaaaaaaaah brilliant... Miss you mate... what a bloke...
