  • WOW! nice work!

  • After visiting the exhibition of Theo Jansens Kinetic Sculptors I must say: Great work, great video, great music, great eveything. Thanks for that.

  • How does it do on sand?

  • Hooray for high i.q!

  • Hello Willa1980, It would have been cooler if you had made it autonomous so it wallks on it's own. About how much do one of the leg pieces cost? How long did it take to make? Want to make one out of colored acrylic someday. Maybe black......

  • just wanted to know.. could the same bot (or any of the other wind powered Jansen designs) have the same movement if it was walking on a frictionless surface?

  • The kinematics are not a result of the interaction with the ground. They are exactly prescribed.

  • nothing can walk on a frictionless surface

  • interesting indeed.

  • very good job!

  • Great Job.

  • what do you used for electronic?

i'm trying to do one like this but with sensors to let it moves where it wants :)

  • It's mentioned in the movie.... Atmega32, l298d & l293

    Good luck with your robot!

  • If you make you're robot solar powered and put light sensors on it, then it will walk to light sources and give it's self more power to keep going.

  • where did u get the cardboard model from?

  • I got it from a pair of scissors and a piece of cardboard.... Actually I watched some of the movies here on youtube about this mechanism. And then: Trial + error....

  • fantastic

  • nice one mate.like the look of it.

  • one day these will take over the planet...

  • Very well done! Excellent design and amazing fluidity of movement. My compliments!

  • it would be interesting to see what it does on rocky terrain

  • Wow. The electronics are so simple yet the machine is so agile. Awesome!

  • how cool!

amazing that you can steer so easy just letting one side stop spinning.

    great!

  • Very, very nice. Well executed.

  • WOAAAA! STUNNING! That's really REALLY nice. Particularly like the lights all bobbing up and down. The bowed limbs almost give it an art nouveau look too. I really like that.
