If your nails yellow often you can also find whitening base coats to wear under your polish- make sure you do your research about which one to get and don't buy the first $1 base coat you find because the cheap ones don't do as good of a job. I'm not a fan of base coats myself but one of the primary reasons to use one is to prevent nail yellowing.

Good morning and I must say first and foremost thank you for visiting my site. The treatment works for anyone either you go natural or you wear acrylic but like I said so many times we have to be faithful in all that we do. I work in a health center and I know that acrylic is not allowed for doctors and nurses however I believe they can wear nail polish . I can say again that all the tips I put on that video one of them should work for someone. Have a wonderful day.

These tips help a ton. My nails are naturally too thin, and I've kept polish on them so they don't chip or break. I've found good natural oils and lotions, but regardless of what I do, they still stain. It must be lack of oxygen, since I use NutraNails nail thickener with Green Tea as a base. I love this base and no one has mentioned it stains. It has no color, lol. It's hard to go without at least a base because they *will* break.

Great tips! For those of you who wear nail polish all the time just like me you can apply lemon juice every night b/4 bedtime and it will help a lot. also if you can apply cuticle oil or cuticle cream as well you'll be really pleased. I prepared my own oil and cream so therefore i make sure I use them every night starting a month or 2 months ago so now I do not worry to much about the yellowish part under the acrylic.

@rsanter1223 Wait, is this a good tip for acrylic wearers or polish wearers? I don't use acrylic since more germs get stuck in between it and the natural nail. (I have a few nurse friends, they can't wear acrylic.)

This remedy really works. I thought it was just a hoax but i just tried it & sure enough my nails are definately whiter! I would def. recommend it to anyone that wants whaite nails quickly.

@SugeeMcLeLe I could see a difference as soon as I did the first step. As far as staying white it aint gonna go long for me because I always paint my nails. I just like them to look nice on days I decide not to wear nail varnishes. But if you dont wear dark colored nails polish then whenever you take it off they will still be white. They will stay white for atleast 1-2 weeks 3 at the most I'd say. So i would recommend doing this every month. Soak with lemon everytime you do a manicure.

This video is very helpful; how long should u go without wearing nail polish in a month?? Please reply back cuz i love wearing nail polish therefore my nails are stained and i was going to try the baking soda and lemon juice and go a couple of days without polish.

@lilgoodyt It really depends how fast your nails grow, once you see the natural colour of your nails growing out from the beds, you should be good to go :)
