I'm not sure how they ranked after the short program, but they ended up placing fifth overall.

They placed 6th in SP and 5th in FS, to place 5th overall. That's probably the ONLY competition I saw where all three of the Russian pails bombed...

The Dunjgens, who weren't even expected to place in the top 4, ended up placing 2nd there.
