As for the bending, I think that wide bends are cool as long as they do not sound bad.

I think its more up to settings than pickups. what amps/effects do you have?

No amp, it is just the Zoom G2.1u. Yes, the EQ settings certainly changed the things but the pickup also had a certain effect. It could not really capture all the basses in a good way no matter how much I played with the EQ.

Cool! Just go to DiMarzio's website. They have something called 'Pickup Picker'. Based on the tone you want for each position of pickups, it gives you its top 3 suggestions.. Very nice thing to look at.
