god damn. say what kind of wrist wraps is this guy using?my wrists have been fuckin with me lately and kinda puttin a damper on my training. any suggestions would be appreciated
@slimbw93 The "functionality" is for whatever sport he's involved in. Powerlifting, bodybuilding, strongman etc. It's a hobby and a passion. Even if he wasn't in any of those sports and had no real use for training this way, why would it matter? He's pushing his body to the limits and challenging/bettering himself. People that ask the "why" questions, will never understand.
@sconny09 don't listen to the other guys, the REAL reason he didn't do full range is because he wasn't locking out. If you come close to the lock out point then go for another rep you keep a constant tension on the muscle allowing for maximum hypertrophy (mass building) and in the end he locked out to give himself breaks to squeeze out a few more reps
@sconny09 because hes training the targeted muscles, in this case the triceps, notice how people who use a full range of motion are weak and small? want to know why? because when using a full range of motion on "most" exercises you lose tension on the targeted muscle at the very bottom and at the very end of the movement, keep tension on the muscle through the entire set!
Only 495?!? Please...I could only hope to dead lift that...after about 3 months more worth of training...if I got off my ass, away from my computer...and got to the gym. Seriously sick lift man.
@calvinchoe100 actually yes they can thats what the juice is for Kai, victor, melvin anthony, dexter jackson name one and they all at one time did or still do bench press 500lb or more for reps 12 to 15. you do less weight as you grow older and train smarter dont want too fuck up your joints
Just like to say again that this guy is an absolute powerhouse. I never seen anyone do heavy weights like that raw like he was. I know guys who are lighter that can do heavy for 1 or 2 reps
@rctriplefresh5 i didnt get kicked from any gym moron - just the other gym i used to train at , i have no ride to there anymore i still have my home-gym to train at - looks like you loose
@blade83336 yeah, closer grip bench (and dips) is probably the best tri movement u can do. don't go like 12 inches apart or nothing, it will KILL your wrists, the man knows what he's doing, look at his arms. it takes your lats and shoulder somewhat out of the equation and puts more stress on the tris. u will still feel it in your pecs some too. hope i helped.
@paul481cj right this lift didn't count cause it wasn't in a meet. So I guess when you get a big PR in the gym you don't tell your friends or anyone since it wasnt in a meet. Stfu dude your just making yourself look like an idiot. This guy is most likely stronger than you so have some respect.
Regardless of the arguing of 'official weights' and all that bullshit. This boy is putting the time in and repping some monster weight. Great lift; fuck all the haters.
calling me gay is like calling Dwight Howard shorty...How much has he benched in competition?! God knows there are enough meets and federations for him to lift in..
lot of jelous people on here that dont feel good about themselves so they gotta try and take away from this guy , this guy is a beast thats all there is to it the lifts are real and so are the weights the only thing not real is all the bull shit talkers on here your all fake get a life !!
@paul418cj hahaha yeah he just brought in a shitload of fake plates to load onto the bar. lets explain this again. since i think the first guys comment went over your head. he repped 635 for a double at super training gym, a prolific and well known gym in the powerlifting world. you dont have to see a lift done in competition for it to be legit, you just have to use your head. those look like rubber coated plates btw

@paul418cj This guy went to Supertraining Gym and repped out with 585. They wouldn't let some guy walk in and slide on bullshit fake plates at Supertraining. Super-strong benchers who can handle over 600 pounds have crossed a threshold into the inhuman - the way they move weights just looks different. I bet most people can't move a broom handle the way this guy can move 225.
@paul418cj you gay ass son of a bitch, those are real plates, those kind of plates like to fucking move a lot . They wobble, they are in motion ...Duh
@AlwaysBelieveFitness keep hoping. You might NEVER be this strong. It takes incredible genetics for this kid of strength potential; and even if you have the genetics for it; it takes years and years and YEARS. If you ever achieve this kind of strength, it sure as hell isn't going to be any time soon.
Thx for the invite! U got some serious strength.. especially in your triceps. Those vids taken at Gold's? No Gold's here in Finland so gotta come check out few legendary ones when in Vegas...
Bro seriously man, u got sum insane videos here and i can reasonable say that your bench videos are easily top5 and the ironey is, knw one even knws what your lifting the view count reflects that. To differentiate your videos, i wanna see a 600 ilbs for x 5! You could probably do it, peace

I use to go a lot closer but it puts way to much strain on your wrists, I see no benefit in closer than shoulder width. Give them a try trust me you will use more weight get just as good triceps work with little to no stress on the wrists.
insane strength. Ive never seen anyone come close to doing this weight 9x! Would love to see other lifts-squat, deadlift, military press or anything.......
