  • man i think it is hard

  • hahaha yea you do that "alright :)" haha wow priceless!

  • omg i couldn't keep a straight smile i'd HAVE to at least make a small face to acknowledge they're being total dipshits. -_-

  • @sparkyg08 "black" people do tip, but they seem to hole you at a highter standard for some reason....just do your best and hope they come back..

  • my basic rule is dont act like you are working for tips, also make your kitchen guys work for you....i been doing seving and bartending for seventeen years and you will always get a customer like that, you did good...sometimes that is all you can do, waitressing is your customers first look at how the restaurant is doing so you got to learn to take the flack with a smile.

  • People don't understand that waiters AND bartenders can cut you off any time they feel it is necessary whether it is valid or they just feel like being a jerk and you will be expected to pay for what you have consumed or be considered stealing. If a customer is rude, you are more than right to cut off a customer from alcohol. Five dollars won't make or break them. I treat waiters just like I would like to be treated.

  • suck my dick princess

  • just tell the head waiter.if he has annthing about him he will deal with it.IM aheadwaiter and believe me if a customer told me to make it 3 minutes,i would ask him to leave in 2 , his custom is not required and you will escorted from these premises .AND please do not come back here again thank you and goodnight.

  • I've worked in retail for 4 years, and the best advice I can give you is this: When the customers are nice, do as much as you can for them, when they are rude or just plain dickheads, fuck their shit up as much as you can! Go to town on it too, be creative! Drop their food on the floor, if they see, make sure you get it on their clothes too! if they don't, shove it right back on the plate and serve it up! They're buying some clothes that are in mint condition? Give them a free tear or stain! :P

  • "5 Minuets?! Make it 3." What's the difference? What's 2 extra minuets going to do to you?

  • believe me client are MUCH MUCH ruder than that...ready to jump to ur troath ...

  • Actually this is small fries considering the rude customer was really just the guy with the camera acting out a part, and was probably friends with the girl in real life. Customers are often much ruder than this. Some to the point of screaming.

  • "Bizz you best gimmie some head while I be waitin"

  • Im a waiter, I just started so that I could save for a car. Im really sweet until a total dick comes in. I can't be nice to them. if someone says something rude to me, the guys in the back come up front and say something. I hate assholes that come in...

  • @Alexizizcrazy I understand how you feel. There are just some assholes out there who have no respect for others. They live on a hierarchical basis. They probably think that being a waiter is a piece of shit job and that they can treat them for dirt. Its ridiculous how people think nowadays. If only the restaurants used the policy of "you treat me with respect and I'll treat you well", then the restaurants would have more power.

  • @ashatbracks I know! They think that they can come in and treat me like shit because it's my job to do whatever they say and to put up with their shit. But I wouldn't mess with anyone handling my food because they could spit it it ;) lol, I wouldn't do that though. That would be really really mean! hahah

  • @Alexizizcrazy Hahaha yes that would be mean, I guess that could be a last resort to a really rude customer.

  • @Alexizizcrazy i'm planning on getting a waitressing job to save for a car as well. i also wanna do it because i have a social phobia and i want to better myself and get a job that will force me to be social lol.. i dunno how i'll deal with rude people though! lol

  • wow that girl just got owned!

  • thats when i go to jail for assault with a deadly weapon

  • its busy as fuck and its on a buffet/lunch shift with one other server. the whole place is filled, we seat about 70 ish inside persons and about 36 outdoor people. a large table has reserved seating. only about half of them show up. well no one has time to get their order for about 5 minutes so an old shit gets pissed and gets on to me. i just say sorry its so busy ill be right with you. i fetch his water. then as they leave his wife apologizes. she knows im human. and im just doing my job

  • im a server and my workplace is... well.... severely understaffed. i work some nights on my own. we have no helpers other than the manager on duty. and the serving process they give us is impossible when you have large amounts of people. but when a customer throws a load of shit like this in my face i get pissed. goto next comment for the story

  • when people are this rude there is no need to be nice to them

  • Cough stupid cough.

  • Well... 90% of the complaints this type of explanation (and perhaps a discount as well) will save our tip and remedy the situation. That's why I normally like doing this. However, this frat-boy asshole in the video doesn't look like he's going to be placated and tip well so he deserves a bit of rudeness. For me I have to protect myself against a valid manager complaint but nothing more. He'll probably find himself last on my priority list and I'll drop the pleasant upbeat mood for his table.

  • What part of "get the fuck out of my joint" do you not know how to say?

  • i don't know how customers can actually be this rude but they ARE, i'm not a waitress but i work at a fast food restaurant and they're assholes there too. and alot of them will talk down on you even over a fucking taco. like i'll be working drive thru and some customers will tell me to make sure their order looks exactly like the picture in commercials. fuck i look like? i'm not the one MAKING your order douche bag. people are ridiculous.

  • @melissainthefear I hear that. People can be ridiculous, and the customer is "always right". WHAT a load of bull. I actually disagree with the woman in this video, I don't think she handled the situation very well. She allowed the customer to abuse her and take control. With people like this, you have to set boundaries. It's a different situation if you've made a mistake and have angered a customer, but in this situation, you have to be assertive to avoid further escalation.

  • @misc11 i wouldn't be able to handle it like this. but i do use a lot of sarcasm with customers. just by being overly polite as if you're shitting endless rainbows in their direction. it pisses them off even more. lol. you need thick skin working at these shit jobs. -__-

  • I remember reading a terrible review from a restaurant. The customer basically complained nobody filled his glass of water for him for a while. What's worst is there's a full pitcher of water sitting in front of him, which he ordered. Could you believe that?

  • @melissainthefear I'd like to throw my uniform at some people and say would you like to do it? then shut the fuck up

  • @brittanytopham11 if only, lmfao.

  • @melissainthefear fuck em. give them the raw ingredients and say sorry but im not the cook :/

  • it's not the customer's always right. they always think they're right. New rule strictly for the waiting staff. Always be courteous, but if the customer is being a complete jerk, then feel free to tell them off. Remember, contrary to what society says, you are a human too. You are not below the person who is yelling at you like an animal because they found a pickle in their sandwich.

  • - How about a complimentary handjob?

-I'll get right on it, sir.

  • @napischu LMAO ^^

  • customers are not always right no matter what people say

  • im just a busboy but in my restaurant we have a sign at the font saying "WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE"

and i know people say customers are the life blood of the business but with problem customers its the other way around, they are what kills the work environment the negative energy, example, i was giving a group of 4 water, they were 3 teens 1 adult, the adult said while i was giving the waters "we dont need all this water git" i was angery but i was careful not to spread the neg around

  • how to deal with rude customers as waiter....easy ...YOU SPIT IN THEIR FUCKING FOOD!!! ....jk

  • "Ahem... Waiter... get yourself over here, idiot. This food tastes like shit."

"It should. I defecated on your plate prior to serving it. Now f*ck off."

Wish I could hear this interchange more often.

  • haha, kinda obvious

  • I felt like betraying myself. I rather be a prostitute. It's the same thing.

  • that's what I call a high tolerance.... (for the server)

  • That sucked, she looked like she was letting the customer intimidate her, even though it was all acting. But still, when a patron sits down at my table they are in my house. I'm going to do the best I can to satisfy a customer because I want their money and want them to enjoy themselves as well. However, when someone is rude to me for no reason, I politely put them in their place, and get my message across at the same time. Don't fuck with me.

  • i would have punched the bitch cos she wont stop smiling !

  • I want to sexual with her

  • OMG I am so fearful that I am gonna eat someone's boogers. Most thinking people are too I have to imagine, so I am articularly curteous to my food server always.

  • Awful ......... decline the service........ask them to go........or change the server, she is awful too

  • What I like to say to rude customers " As you have noticed... we are QUITE busy tonight..your drinks/food are on their way.....or " If you CARE to look around you...you will notice how busy we are, we are doing the best we can"

  • I don't think you need to be as polite as she was when dealing with a rude customer, your a person and not a slave. Just be sympathetic with them to show you understand their frustration and try to get them on your side.

  • Her bio states "double major in Psychology and Criminology." She's gonna need the psychology part to deal with fuck-twits like those.

  • i dont think i can handle with ppl like that :/

  • @GizmoHarper then maybe you shouldn't be a server.

  • Go change your tampon and dip it in his bloody mary before you throw it in the trash.

  • Something tells me that she spit in his food off camera. I sure would have.

  • fuck, mean bastard customers always make my day SHIT

  • I'd cut them off and kick them out. Anyone that obnoxious shouldn't be served.

  • once a fat businessman did not stop complanining...i thought he was gonna give me a 1$ dollar tip...he ended up giving me 120$(the bill was 100$)..

i was soo "WTF" but i loved him :P xd

  • i worked with in customer servie for 6years.people are cunts n love the power trips.just get back at them anyway you can without risking your job.n stay totally detached and dont give a fuck inside.you do get some nice normal people who are self aware but they are few n far between.u have to learn to switch off inside n hope that karma does its job.but helping it along with some spit, piss, other bodily functions slipped into their food/drinks helps.:)

  • @jamima444 oh yeah ;)

  • I would say to that guy: "yeah, sorry about that, but we simply CAN'T get your meal to you and sooner that 5 minutes. However, in the meantime if you wish I can go fetch you and your friend some tweezers and magnifying glasses and you two can jack each other off to these glossy poster books of Justin Bieber..."

  • The thing is being nice to them encourages their behaviour. We want nice people at our hotel not horrible rude ones!

  • just spit in their good, everyone does it

  • Man I would never be rude to someone who's dealing with my food. That's just a stupid and well rude thing to do. These people are people and they aren't our slaves. Why should people trying to earn an honest living be subjected to shitty treatment? Its just unfair. I hope my first job won't be serving because I don't know if I could be patient with an asshole customer. I would never spit in someone's food (eww) but I would lose it.

  • I f'ing HATE customers. "Can you take any longer with our drinks?"....she should have said"Sure can..." and walked away.

  • I would have just said something polite like "hey it should be out in 5 minutes but let me check on it right now. Can I get you a glass of water in the meantime? " and left the guy. I personally didn't like the "like I said, I put your order in". Actually, to me that sounded a little rude and confrontational. And the "they're working as fast as they can" I never like b/c that actually *is* an excuse that the customer doesn't really want to hear.

  • Just say " GIVE ME FREE FOOD OR I WILL ATTACK YOU!!!!!!!!111!" That will get you free foos he he he ...

  • Perhaps just say "sorry, sir, let me go and take care of that right away for you."

Then you could walk away and not have to hear him.

  • I work as a server in an upscale restaurant and I've been doing this sh#t wayyy too long. I deal with these pretentious, pompous fuc#s every day. As a server you have to be their server, psychologist, tourist guide, etc. It's really fuc#ing annoying how pathetic people can be. I've never toyed with people's food, but man does it get tempting. The comments below have it right. I wonder how much food is either spat in or worse. Be nice. You might be surprised what you're eating.

  • wow. I have been waiting tables for 3 years now...if a customer ever did this shit to me, I would make sure their order took forever to come out. Once customers are dicks to me, I don't care about the table anymore. I'll drop off the food, and the check. That's it!

  • I never say sorry if someone complains about how long their food is taking to come out, because that's not my fault.

I tell them approximately how long whatever they ordered takes to cook.

Eg If you order a WELL DONE steak and ask where it is after 15 mins, you are clearly stupid or have never had or cooked steak before...so i take it upon myself to inform you how long a well done steak is cooked for so you dont irritate other waiters with your stupidity in the future.

    Haha.

  • I sorry but I will never piss anybody who is dealing with my food. Other people can be rude if they want to.

  • this is where the waitress spits in your food =]

  • See this is Bullshit, she should not have to put up with this.

I think this might not have been for real, but these places should hire bouncers.

I used to hang out at a beer bar with topless dancers and they had bouncers. They did not let anyone get out of hand, and most of all they insisted you treat the girls nice or else you got thrown out.

Anyway I liked going there because they kept jerks like this out, I saw very little problems or fights because the bouncers kept watch over everyone.

  • I have been a waiter for over 1 year now, i have dealt with one customer like that. It aint nice. Way i learned to deal with what are known by staff as "arseholes". is "could our drinks be any longer":very sorry the bar is backed up" backed up is a good one for late food an all

  • "Thanks for your patience, let me go check on it." period, skip all the phoney nice talk, they are feeding on your phony victim niceness. be pleasent and to the point

  • kill them with niceness, your tip depends on it. :)

  • so are you free on saturday night

  • Hahaha she even stutters when she isn't with a real costumer .. can you imagine?

  • That customer has to be gay to treat a hot girl like that

  • and fuck that customer I would have punched him in the face

  • Damn you are sexy as fuck

  • She used the word "sorry".

You're not supposed to do that.

Say "pardon the delay", or "thanks for your patience", or "forgive our staff"

but never use the word "sorry" it implies guilt.

  • thanks for showing me how to be a push over.

  • @djmuggs187 - too right, being a pushover is exactly what this is. They have to take their turn, like all the others.

  • love her smile! what was her name again?!

  • Comment removed

  • Don't mess with people that deal with your food !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Dont threaten your only source of income with blackmail !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @yoguey Waiting... :D

  • When will people understand....If your an asshole, you've already told me the tip is going to be shitty, so why the hell would I give a damn when your food comes out. Shit, I might just make it take longer just to piss your sorry ass off. You sure expect a lot from a person working for a tip that might or might not be coming and who's hourly wages are the equivilent of the price of three postage stamps...get real morons!

  • A little less 'um' but otherwise good... I was kind of expecting to see real rude customers though

  • Yeah me too.

  • those people we're even rude. Real rude guests don't even know they're doing it. Those were frat boys

  • and i agree she is a hotti

  • serving is not easy people are cruel but what comes around goes around

  • hahaha!!!!

  • shes hot!

    nice boobs

  • The best way to deal with a rude customer is ignore them. If they want to see a manager, let em. They're not tipping anyways so just let their food and drink sit and take as long as it takes. Just don't sweat it. Be very nice but pay as much attention as you can to tables that are actually tipping, since that is where your money is coming from. For the rude table, just do what is absolutely necessary that way you won't feel bad about the poor tip:)

  • Dude, you just smile and then pluck your ass hairs out and sprinke some "garnish" in their food!! It makes my job fun!! Fuck you!!

  • Well, I don't give a damn anyways.

  • First you don't mess with people that are handling your food. Did anyone watch Waiting? Not the best movie but it was funny what they did to the lady's order.

  • lol make it like 3 min that was good

  • PancomaXXL: the bartender is supposed to make the drinks, not the server. in some restaurants, the server is legally not allowed to make the drinks themselves, especially if the server is underage. im 100% sure that in your supposed 6 years of serving that you have gotten multiple complaints, as does every single server in the industry. then again, not everyone is perfect like you are so i could be wrong.

  • As for dealing with rude customers....never be rude back. Just don't waste your time. Its not worth it. Don't suck up to them nor ignore them. Don't yell at them nor give into their little "your inferior to me" tirade. Just give them their food and get them out of there as soon as you can.

True, rude customers tend to tip less. But if you're rude back, you'll more than likely end up with no tip on the table at all and a complaint to the manager..... :/

  • Amen.

  • If the customer has ordered drinks that the bar has to make, sometimes the bar can get backed up from other orders other waiters/waitresses have placed. Grab a glass(es) of water and bring them to your guest(s)...."I thought you guys might like something to drink while you wait for your drinks." Then you can ask if they're ready to order and so on and so forth. Soon as the drinks are ready at the bar, bring it to your guests.

  • you got the restaurant empty and you delay the orders...you don't really know what are you doing , if you wanted to do this realisticly , you should do it with the bar full....i am a waiter for 6 years , and never had a complain from clients , never ever , i've done my orders if the bartender had other things to do..

  • being a waiter means to do anything for the clients , you don't wait for the bartender to make your orders , you got to make the drinks for the clients happines

  • this is a waste of time , you first take the order for the drinks , the you take the food order , you don't do the food order until you have the drinks on the clients table , you have no ideea about being a waitress...

  • Why are customers complaining? Do not explain, tell them that youll do something about it, if the problem still persists, call the attention of your flooor mgr., this way, your customers will know that you are taking good care of them. Dont forget UPSELL, this will boost your tips!

  • this bitch needs to be beaten and bent over a fuggin table.

  • I always thought it was unbelievably stupid to be rude to your waiter. I mean aside from the fact that it's sooo unnecessary and ignorant, you're forgetting that you're dealing with someone who is handling the food you're about to eat. It just amazes me how disrespectful so many people are to someone who is serving them.

  • This is how i deal with rude customers: I flip them the bird and tell them to get the fuck off my face.

  • I wish these things weren't so fake.

  • Good grief, can you say "doormat"?

  • hehehhe

this is how to do it :

1(the drinks)..:yes.should i write it down with the order..(with a big big smile)

    2.(exuceses)..well what r u gonna do !:S(with a big smile ofcourse)

    3.(make it 3):hehe how about 10?(bigger smile)

  • If you act like she does, your customers will eat you alive. Successful servers learn quickly that rude people generally don't tip no matter how nice you are to them. NEVER act rude. But, in this case, I would bring out their half-finished food food at exactly 3 mins. Do you really think they can complain that you did what they asked you to do? Following this video only empowers rude people. If you allow their abuse, your other tables get neglected and you get bad tips from all of your tables

  • im currently a waiter and this is not how i handle a rude customer. im just rude right back. they dont tip so who cares

  • During college I worked as a server. Customers thought less of me simply because I was their server. Customers love to think their superior. Most of the time I would be able to tolerate a rude customer, but once in a while a condescending bitch or asshole would talk to me disrespectfully. So, I would spit in their food or drink, drop it off with a smile saying enjoy. I felt compelled to restore the balance. Remember, these people serve YOUR FOOD... Think.

  • Im a customer, I shall worship u know. Oh holy one, have mercy...

  • @ttmuhtaseb thats disgusting. That's not restoring the balancing, that's taking a cheap shot. Restoring the balance would be saying to them "You know, I don't appreciate being talked to like that". But then you would realize that there is no balance, because you're a server and it, by definition, sucks.

  • @ttmuhtaseb

We cook your meals. We haul your trash. We connect your calls. We drive your ambulances. We guard you while you sleep. Do not FUCK with us.

  • Comment removed

  • Haha, that girl is an idiot, I would have thrown their drink in their face as soon as a heard the first rude comment.

  • Why are people so STUPID to be rude to their food servers? Food serves handle your FOOD, FOOD which YOU are going to put in your mouth and eat! If you piss off your Server, & they are handling your food, the server can do something to their food, like spit in it or "Accidentally" drop in on the floor, then put it back, or cough or sneeze on it. Think about it. If you were a server, & a customer was being a dick, wouldn't you possible do something to their food?

  • wow not suprising this must be how all you idiots think!!! id love to see u wait tables for a living.. lets see how well u react when u get stiffed

  • Oh man! I work in a restaurant and i get rude customers a lot! NOT GOOD TIPPERS!

  • you dont think that maybe that person serving you is working their ass off so they can pay their way through school? maybe everything was handed to some people in life but trust me, thats not the case for most people.

  • People that steal tips are generally younger people. We don't have that sign but we can throw out anyone we want. We gave lots of security guards and a strict dress code.

  • Nah they're drunk assholes. I'm a pretty chipper guy. We generally have good customers but once in awhile a hockey team, or a few coked out roid monkeys will come in. And they don't only ruin my experience, but they ruin the customers experience. These are the same people who pick fights, and steal tips and take other peoples drinks off the table. Like I said, if they're not going to respect me, they don't respect the club or anyone around them.

  • Love my Job, I make great money and for the most part love my clientel. Why should I waste time with rude customers, if they're not going to respect me they're not going to respect the club. Its a busy bar, why would I serve the rude guys when there's another 10 people waiting? I don't concentrate on my anger, I just make sure that I don't deal with those people as they would make me angry. Its the service industry, I work for tips, rude people are a waste of my time.

  • Well how many 17 year old lawyers and doctors do you see? Most of us are still in school just trying to make money on the side. Just because we're serving you food, doesn't mean we're stupid.

  • Comment removed

  • definitely a good response, just be nice its just FOOD its not like your responsible for someone's life

  • Fuck that, I work in a nightclub. They don't treat me with respect, I don't serve them; straight up. I do everything in my power to make sure they have a miserable experience so they don't come back. They start talking down to me I give them one warning and then get them thrown out.

If you're not happy with your customers in a busy restaurant or bar, find new ones. Rude people don't tip so don't waste your time on them.

  • rude people r idiots without education n usually gettin food stamps they get mad when theyr fricken ebt card doesnt go through poor loosers get a job isall i can say

  • Some people like being rude, especially in front of their peers. They can't be satisfied because they don't want to be satisfied. They come in with complaints ready, are happy to keep the server waiting to take their orders 25 -30 minutes while they gossip with each other; but yet the moment they need to wait even a single moment for their food they complain to the manager. I served for 5 years - "The customer is always right" is statistically rubbish.

  • Yeah, I had a similar incident. These two ladies came in for lunch, sat for half an hour gossiping, all the while passing by seeing if they are ready to order but waving me off every time. Then when they're ready, they wave at me frantically. They bark at me something like "we have to be back at work in 10 minutes. We need to order NOW! And hurry with our food!" Don't blame me because you have poor time management skills!

  • She is an actor.. and a bad one!

  • are you serious? it's one thing for customers to be a little rude, yeah you have to just deal with it and be as nice as possible, but if they're being total assholes i am not going to indulge them. people like that shouldn't even go to restaurants. or be alive for that matter.

  • that girl is an actor, not a server.

  • i would drop kick that bitch

  • It really annoys me when they say "customers are always right". No matter what you do they will always complain and whine about bullshit and crap. The one thing they want is the food to be free. Fucking customers they can go and suck a dick, and just before you start to complain at a restaurant get into the shoes of the waitress/ waiter.

  • Secondly, don't repeat yourself so many times. Say it first and simply walk away.

Thirdly, don't argue with the customer. not only have they been drinking and arguing with a drunk person is like arguing with a wall, it can make them feel stupid. Don't use words like "Like I said sir I'll go check on that for you". never say "Like i said..." That sounds rude as if you are getting annoyed. never show your annoyance.

but these are fun to watch anyways:)

  • Firstly, she is blaming the bartender for being slow. instead, say "we" are getting your drinks out as fast as we can i appologize for the wait. Offer something else why they wait like a soda or water. something that you can make yourself.

  • There should have been someone on videos like these who have been working in fine dining for 10+ years. Dealing with the fine dining prude snobby assholes are the worst. What is this place anyway, some little pub with acouple of greasy menu items? Look, dealing with a bunch of rowdy drunk people is not that hard.

I appreciate her making this videos, some of them are helpful, but I don't like how she handles these situations.

  • can you say "loogie"

  • I would literally ask the gentlemen if they would like to accompany me to the back of the kitchen where they can tell the chefs to hurry up themselves.

I pulled this technique at my restaurant and I actually changed one customer's attitude when they saw just how hard everyone was working.

Sure, you can't do that everytime, but, once in a great while it's good to throw a wrench in the works and be an asshole back.

  • Good strategy- much better than this waste of time video.

  • The customer is always right in the way.

  • No, you just have to let them believe they are right. In reality, they're usually wrong.

  • she has a cute smile. I couldn't be rude to her ever

  • I hate customers. I hate the rude ones that is. I think I've turned into the typical angry waitress.

  • trust me, it's typical for all servers to be angry. because we are.

  • This is why I cannot work in jobs dealing with the public. If anyone came in and started being rude, pushy and for no reason I would throw a drink in their faces. I have a very low tolerance level for rude, ignorant and stupid people.

  • what a dumbass. everyone knows to give the cute waitresses a smack on the ass when they turn around.

  • then get sued for sexual harassment... GREAT strategy!

  • HOW ABOUT THREE!!!! what food takes three minutes to cook. mcdonalds?!?!??!

yea i just put the order in and the microwave says 2 mins left. chickenfuckers

  • the longer you work in the service industry, the easier it is to handle and brush off dicks like this. Plus checking a customers attitude is just plain fun.

  • Don't fuck with the people who make your food...........

  • the fucking cardinal rule man.. amen

  • what is that thing around her neck?

  • Haha. But she should've flipped out & punched the guy.

Nahh jk she handled it nicely lol :]

  • hes probably one of those 'oh mummy i want a frtuit juice, mummy i want a coloring book ooh im a little fuckwit right?'
