I just hooked up the DN-HC4500 to SL3 and I am having problems with the jog wheel, loops, and other buttons on 4500 not talking to Serato. Song will play and pitch but thats it. How do I get the two to talk to each other?

@JoeyM1701 Make sure both devices are using the most recent version/firmware, also double check to make sure you're in INT (internal) mode.

I have 2 dns1200, and I want to connect them to serato, but I heard that I would lose all effects. How can have effects on serato and dns1200. Would I need a mixer with effects?

FYI there is a frequency filter on the DJM800 also. There is one for each channel.

Correct - but you can tweak the frequency of any of the effects on the DJM-700
