@Flamesofthunder Nope. For that you have to play the other gundam game which is like this minus the dome. You instead sit at a regular arcade machine with a joystick and 4 buttons. It's much more faced paced though and you get all the super powerful gundams from later generations. I prefer the classics.

@dragy148816 That is a completely different universe. This game deals with only the original gundam universe and it's mobile suits.

I was piloting the GM Light Armor in this video. I wish I would of recorded me using my Zeon card. The gouf custom is badass with its vulcan chain gun.

Actual people. the timer seen in the first video is letting the arcade connect to all the other arcades in Japan to find a match.  If no matches are available then you do play the computer. In that case their title will say Bandai Namco （バンダイナンコ.

You can only join the same team in arcades. So say there are 4 pods. 3 people get in and are zeon. one person joins Federation. The 3 zeons will play together in the match and the federation guy will connect to some other game.

i know you get boost jump and dash forward but can you side dash or dash backward?

Yeah you can boost in any direction. Just pull both joysticks in that direction and step on your boost. Also, the timing for the 3 combo slash is to hit the slash button right before each slash lands on the enemy. So it sounds like Click... click...... click. Third one is always a bit slower.

This really does look damned sweet. Point of view looks a bit low (IIRC in the show the forward cockpit screen shows the outside from the POV of the head), but aside from that really minor gripe? Absolutely stunning. A real shame we don't have this over here.

Thanks for the coment! You really don't need to know Japanese to play this game. Only if you want to talk with others that may join your game. You may need to know a littel bit when making your card though, as that has a lot of japanese writing.
