I understand that being Jewish is a complex and intricate kind of thing. Interesting though to see that the nationality of that particular jew - Klemperer - doesn't seem to be playing any role at all. Probably a reasoning by someone whose nationality is by no means peculiar to his character - i.e. an American? But of course nationality is a very crude criterion. One should have asked Klemperer himself whether Germanic culture had played any role in shaping his mind, if that was not too stupip..
