Thank goodness Sean allowed me to shoot some video of him that night so that even though he's physically gone, we at least have been able to document his great talent and share it through YouTube.
LOL i just LOVE watching Sean do his thing. he's firing on all cylinders here thats for sure..his raw emotion and power is rarely matched by anyone nowadays...he was truly a gift from god for all of us...gone way too soon. RIP
Leaves one breathless....such a tragic loss....such a huge talent. Who can possibly fill his shoes? Why do we lose such huge musical talents every year? And, years before their time? The connection between exceptional talent and enormous personal strife or affliction exist all too often. I am thankful to all who have captured Sean Costello's performances on You Tube so that many more guitarists can be inspired. I am just awestruck and very sorry I did not see him live.
@Sluwickie yeah it sucks to see someone so beautiful and amazing waste their talent doing drugs. his voice is unreal. a young white boy with as much soul as an old black bluesman.
@TMMSfanCLUB I don't think Sean wasted his talents with drugs. In fact, I'm positive he was just self-medicating himself for his Bi-Polar disorder because he probably didn't even realize he had it until maybe it started to effect him more. Generally people with ADHD, Bi-Polar, are often very creative, yet troubled souls... Sean was managing the best way he knew, he went into that hotel room just wanted to chill from being in the spotlight, get a little high, but got too high, i miss you sean
@Sluwickie I also never saw Sean. I figured I had all the time in the world to see him. I'd grow old with him and he'd just get better and better. But he's like the brightest stars in the sky that burn out so quickly. I feel cheated....I just wish I could have said something to him that would've mattered and who knows? But I'm just a guitar player. I love you Sean!!
Man, I cant help but feel like us younger guys lost the cat that was carrying the torch for the next batch of young blues players. Sean, you were always a pleasure to see and to hang out with. I'm still so damn sad that you're not with us anymore.
