and for that frag well... in crossfire you dont need to have sound to know were the enemy will spawn aslong as you know the spawn system its a pice of cake

@cunnelatio worldspawn beat garpy best of 3, 2-1. but ive played worldspawn alot and with garpy only a handful of times and i have to say garpy has the most unreal aim, worldspawn couldnt keep up in deathmatch ffa, wasnt even close, garpy was winning maps by a huge margine, but like i said world did get him 1v1.. but that was years ago when they 1v1d and when garpy was winning those ffa maps with world playing that was less than a year ago.. i play with worldspawn weekly, hes flawless nowadays

@MalikarVampire worldspawn probably has the edge in smaller maps like crossfire and stalkyard in their matchup, but larger map like stalkx or bootcamp garpy will win. He is good in gauss and spawn killing whereas garpy has better multi task and aim in distance. Because in crossfire u are immortal if u can guard the crossbow and gauss(both are close to each other) while only gauss is needed 95% of the time, players always spawn in close proximity.

meh... 80% of the kills are made with the tau gun...

That gun shouldn't be able to kill or at least shouldn't take more than 1 hp when not charged. This makes it a very cheap all purpose gun that takes away the fighting / weapon management skills... imho

This is the main reason why I get turned off by this game or the new AG2. I prefer to stick with HL2dm or AG2 in regular mode.

@icstrimterror hl2dm has bhop, and it's far from being as easy to learn as you make it sound like. It's just not as exagerated map flying freedom of movement as AG(2), imho. You can fly too tho, but not that easily.

But, hmm, since you said hl2dm had no bhop, that made me wonder if you ever played it enough, or something. Anyway, I think AG 1 and 2 are just as great as hldm or hl2dm, I just think that tau gun makes it exagerated in some ways. hl2dm is just great for me. Just wished valve allowed higher FOVs.

@skaruts i agree especially in this map it is abuse and don't bring out the player's true quality. Tau is too imba for a railgun, at least in quake there is cooldown rate for railgun. It takes alot of life even if u charge 1 energy which makes spawn kills easy. It should reduce 10 hp per energy used, 100 hp fully charged.

@youziness Weren't those the hp values it actualy took? I never played AG1, but in AG2 I think those were the default values and I didn't like them. I think 10hp (uncharged) is too much because of it's rapid fire rate. You just need to spam the enemy and he will loose hp very quickly. In my honest opinion this gun shouldn't take more than 1hp when uncharged, and not more than 20hp when fully charged. This would no doubt force players to use other weapons to attack and this one just for jumping.

the player in this video is much more weaker than garpy, would get 50-0 by him easy. (if he is still playing hl now) Pretty weak scene compared to 2002 if this is top ten. Well..not many play this game now anyways. The tau jump is not fast enough & aim is average.

The jump is a mix of the long jump module and the tau cannon. The mastery of the tau cannon is what's really good. Unfortunately, it looks as though he's not as good with the xbow, or his opponent is just that good at avoiding it.

This is competitive gaming. I have a friend who is good at this game (not this good). But to this day i still dont know how they bunny hop around like craziness like that and rocket jump or w/e. You cannot compare this skill to any other game. It's pretty incredible. Thanks for the upload.
