I got a few ideas from some cards that I looked at, but I haven't bought enough cards to have most of the set since Majestic Dawn. I just got a new job though, so maybe I will be able to get back into it.
That typically doesn't happen. Even in instances where I only have Salamence ex out, his 150 attack can dispose of most opponents. This deck obviously has some risks, but it still works well.

ok here is a hint i thought up of in my sleep say you like fire pokemon or have strong fire pokemon but you end p with a water type trainer what you do is get i fire big hitter and one ELECTRIC big hitter and a couple of fire or electric basics and if you total with 20 or more just try to get a total of 20 energies no matter witch depending on the energy usage of a pokemon and then fill up the rest with rare candies drawing cards and cards thatle get cards from discard piles, oh and potions by

I go to tournaments and all the time there are more adults then kids, and the kids in the younger age division do not even understand it, they always make the tournament go over the ending time because there r two juniors making the game up as they go along taking forever
i used to play pokemon alot, was ranked number 4 in US until release of gym leader and i have to say that youve got a great set-up. im not sure what everyone plays now but i think you should do fine in tournament play. it mihgt be dangerous to use latias ex as a wall.
This deck has so many things wrong with it. First it has no engine so good luck getting the cards you need. You have to many random supporters. One of the biggest decks out there would be PLOX and everyone knows that PLOX consist of Gardy and Gallade. Gallade kills Salemance and Gardy kills Latios ex. And ex are pointless. And if u were to run with that kind of bagon why wouldn't you have memory berry. Honestly i dont know who you play against but that deck wouldn't last in Nor Cal.

Great deck! A little too much EXs if u ask me, but i guess its okay. Just unsafe. Some advice would be to add a little more (normal) pokemon. Some great ones would be Charizard from secret wonders, because it can do 120 damage and discard 2 or 4 energys! Plus, if ur opponent has 3 or less prize cards left, it does 170! Which makes it GOOD to have EXs with the 2 prize card effect. Moltres from Majestic Dawn would also be good, since it does 100 and discards all his energy!
get a charmeleon that knows fire tail because flip a coin if heads discard fire energeysfor 20 extra damege and the fire energys go to the discard pile

Hmmmm.. kinda cool combo. I have never seen anyone playing whit this. Would try making it but the modify is only allowing DP-on soon so i won't. Anyways you sould play 4 roseanne and also you sould play Pachirisu (the holo one from GE) or something just to get a better start (play 4 of it) and sins the deck is HP-on i guess play a couple of Holon Mentors.

Very intersting deck. But you seem to focus on one card to win (Feel free to say that im wrong), that would be Salamence and use your other cards so it can start knocking out faster. That can come back to bite you sometimes. Im not saying its bad, im just saying what I think its flaw is. Besides that flaw, I like this deck you may be a world champ one day with that deck.

I try to get them both built up, but when I have to choose which to get built up first, I go with salamence, but I try to get both since they keep each other. Two cards with 150 attack, but one can make the deck run out, and the other has to have cards in the discard.
Looks like beating your deck will take great thinking or loads of luck. Best deck I can think of for beating your deck is a Gallade and Lucario deck, sence both of them have great knocking out powers (But there both fighting types). Your deck is very awesome!
It would just take two hits instead of one, and I wouldn't have to worry about you attacking because wailord ex totally sucks for anything other than being a 200hp wall, and wailord ex has been out of rotation for a long time. There is also the new wailord that isn't an ex and has 200hp. Think about it before you comment next time.

When I got the idea for this deck, I only had the infernape cards. I bought the salamence exes just to put in this deck. It is the same for my leaf deck. I purchased 60% of those cards just for it, including the two venusaur exes and the holo leaf energies. If you can, it is usually cheaper to buy whatever cards you need rather than just buy booster packs until you finally get what you need.
It is a level up for the pokemon. You basically play them as an evolution card. You have to play infernape first, and then the next turn can level him up with the Lv. X card.

i play a fossil deck. the way my deck works is that i can have my opponent discard an evolution card in play, and you cant evolve anything, and i can do 80 damage. if you have questions ask.
Thats an awesome deck. I run kabutops from power keepers. I also have 4 rare candies. so i use trainers to get kabutops out(or usually draw him like rare candies) and then his pokebody is amazing. I will post it soon also

Says who? The only age restrictions set on this game is for the age divisions of tournaments, one of which is for adults. People as old as 40-50 years old play.

hmmm for discarding energy cards you could also use super energy removals, super potions,rockets mission and professor Oak's visit ( you can only discard 1 energy/ card which is kinda lame but i thought this could help you) ... cant remember any other cards which helps you discard an energy to the discard pile. to discard faster try a sableye CG starter for excavate and disable is a stall attack.
also try infercatty as a deck, its quicker and consistant.
smeargle SW can be a starter too with it thingy attack for 3 energy for free till delcatty ex is out then its pokepower to discard them all is good too
oh man, neva thought to use salamence's discard with infernape lv X! That was a really clever deck with the unfortunate rotating out of ex's next format. I'm trying a deck with infernape, machamp, magmortar, and garchomp.
They have to rotate cards out in order to force people to buy new cards. They say it is to make people think of new ideas, but it is really just a money move.
I usually hope to start with Latias ex since good hp, and he doesn't evolve, plus he has an energy booster. No big deal on mishearing the rare candy thing, I understand haha. With the prof. elm thing, I am saying that I use to get the evolution cards since latias ex can't cut it compared to the cards with evolutions. I can see how you got confused, but I am not saying that you can get latias with prof elm.
I think your deck is awesome. I am not a fan of the Pokemon card game. But I love the video games. I am usually a magic the gathering card game fan but you tell those guys off for making fun of you for liking Pokemon. Whether you like yu gi oh, Pokemon, magic or any card game, as long as you enjoy playing it thats all that matters.

i think i could fight you equaly with my Fighting deck , ( Mostly Basic pokemons and Aerodactyl [fossil] ) and many energy removals (thought your Flare up would probably put them back on your deck) but i think it would be good match. ^^

The girl I play against actually uses an all water-type deck, and I take it down every time. Infernape and his prevolutions are the only pokemon weak to water that are in this deck.
u could use holon castforms because u can use it by attaching it to a pokemon that already has an energy attached to it then remove it and that way u could use less energy cards and more pokemon because i bet one day u are only going to pull trainers and energys :)
Yep. It is tough to run out of cards, though, because if I do "Flare Up", that puts 8 cards back into my deck, so it is nearly impossible to run out of cards.

I haven't had any trouble with it so far. Since Infernape Lv.X has free retreat, it makes it a lot easier to keep switching them.

If you can, it is usually cheaper to buy whatever cards you need rather than just buy booster packs until you finally get what you need.

It is a level up for the pokemon. You basically play them as an evolution card. You have to play infernape first, and then the next turn can level him up with the Lv. X card.

Yeah...unless you consider the fact that it's illegal. Straight from the pokegym compendium:
Q. I know you can't level up a Pokemon on the same turn as it evolves, but what about leveling up a Basic Pokemon (like Darkrai) on same turn as it is played?
A. No, similar to evolving the Pokemon cannot level up on the same turn it comes into play, nor on your first turn of the game. (Mar 20, 2008 PUI Rules Team)

i play a fossil deck. the way my deck works is that i can have my opponent discard an evolution card in play, and you cant evolve anything, and i can do 80 damage. if you have questions ask.

Thats an awesome deck. I run kabutops from power keepers. I also have 4 rare candies. so i use trainers to get kabutops out(or usually draw him like rare candies) and then his pokebody is amazing. I will post it soon also

Says who? The only age restrictions set on this game is for the age divisions of tournaments, one of which is for adults. People as old as 40-50 years old play.

hmmm for discarding energy cards you could also use super energy removals, super potions,rockets mission and professor Oak's visit ( you can only discard 1 energy/ card which is kinda lame but i thought this could help you) ... cant remember any other cards which helps you discard an energy to the discard pile. Great cards :D and i like the last sentence :D I would like to make a video of my deck but i dont have the camera so if you're interested send me a message and i'll tell you

cant rare candy to a Lv. X
to discard faster try a sableye CG starter for excavate and disable is a stall attack.
also try infercatty as a deck, its quicker and consistant.
smeargle SW can be a starter too with it thingy attack for 3 energy for free till delcatty ex is out then its pokepower to discard them all is good too
also, screw off FTW!!! was hilarious :)

I didn't say that professor elm could get latias ex, and I didn't say that rare candies work for Lv. X's.
I hate Sableye. I think he is really stupid looking, and I only use Pokemon that I like.
I don't like Inferncatty either because it's been done. I like to try new things out.

oh man, neva thought to use salamence's discard with infernape lv X! That was a really clever deck with the unfortunate rotating out of ex's next format. I'm trying a deck with infernape, machamp, magmortar, and garchomp.

another way to get pokemon faster is nidoqueen d from DF although its another stage 2 and claydol GE is good too and baltoy can be a starter too.....

Oops, I didn't realize I messed that up.
I usually hope to start with Latias ex since good hp, and he doesn't evolve, plus he has an energy booster. No big deal on mishearing the rare candy thing, I understand haha. With the prof. elm thing, I am saying that I use to get the evolution cards since latias ex can't cut it compared to the cards with evolutions. I can see how you got confused, but I am not saying that you can get latias with prof elm.

I think your deck is awesome. I am not a fan of the Pokemon card game. But I love the video games. I am usually a magic the gathering card game fan but you tell those guys off for making fun of you for liking Pokemon. Whether you like yu gi oh, Pokemon, magic or any card game, as long as you enjoy playing it thats all that matters.

i think i could fight you equaly with my Fighting deck , ( Mostly Basic pokemons and Aerodactyl [fossil] ) and many energy removals (thought your Flare up would probably put them back on your deck) but i think it would be good match. ^^

The girl I play against actually uses an all water-type deck, and I take it down every time. Infernape and his prevolutions are the only pokemon weak to water that are in this deck.

u could use holon castforms because u can use it by attaching it to a pokemon that already has an energy attached to it then remove it and that way u could use less energy cards and more pokemon because i bet one day u are only going to pull trainers and energys :)

Yep. It is tough to run out of cards, though, because if I do "Flare Up", that puts 8 cards back into my deck, so it is nearly impossible to run out of cards.
