@ThatOneAtheist I think the main problem is that not enough people learn correct definitions to words and simply associate similar meaning words too much these days. /shrug
Sure, it's not game breaking, but it sure is nice not having him kick us while we can pound on him all we want without the normal extra risk. lol
@Anobrax This technique would be a lot harder for most people because almost everyone else uses the wide open spaces as the advantage. When the chieftain throws down his hammer u slipdash towards him and do an LLR combo. When he spins you stay out of the AoE just long enough then move to him using LLLLR(only hit him with the smash). When it comes down to hit, using the tree is nice but blocks DPS and getting hit my the smash is worse than getting hit by the kicks...
@ThatOneAtheist Yea, I do the run around in circles thing as well, this was just my first encounter with him and I used it a couple times after, till I had his timing down.
The hammer hits never become a problem because if doing it right he'll get stuck on the tree, and at that point is when one strikes him through the tree. :)
@Anobrax lol why u mad? go learn wats a glitch or an exploit before posting a vid on youtube.. and yeah ur right.. everything has been said in the comments section like Truthiness231 said.. "It's playing the game the way it was meant to be played: avoid getting the shit smashed out of you while getting some hits in." Yup...............moron.......
OK, this isn't an exploit. Once you get past this boss and on to some of the harder ones you'll be used to the boss tactic: wait for him to make a big attack, and when he pauses run up and hit him really fast. Dock 2 has two bosses that require the exact same technique.
Again, it's not a cheat. It's playing the game the way it was meant to be played: avoid getting the shit smashed out of you while getting some hits in. Afraid there is no other way to fight a boss solo.
OH and btw: there IS an actually glitch for this boss. If you need to heal or repair, lead him up the steps you come in, wait for him to make one of his attacks, dodge it (duh), and run down the steps and toward the other side as fast as you can. He'll stop path-finding toward you and just stand at the top, giving you time to do whatever.
@Truthiness231 If you check a dictionary you will see that this is indeed an exploit.

3. to make the best use of: to exploit natural resources"
But the main point to this video was showing that you can attack him with a full combo through the tree without being able to have him kick you, which is what one might consider a glitch/bug in some cases; as stated in the info section. :)
@Xyp0r I got mine from a friend and handed mine out to friends already, but I believe there's a topic on the Vindictus forums someplace that leads to a list of them or something.
They removed it......

@taqinadvee420 Really? I haven't been on Vindictus for awhile so I really wouldn't know. O.o
Shame that, if true. lol

Okay this may technically be an "exploit" BUT it's not really; I mean it's more of a technique. Relabeling would cause less flame.
It's nothing super ground breaking.

@RAFLAMOLAO A moron shouldn't call someone else a moron imo; learn some basic English, then learn to read, and then try again.
Thanks. ~_^

@Anobrax lol u dont have anything else to say cuz u know ur a moron lol and thats not a glitch nor exploit.

@RAFLAMOLAO Are you really that much of a retard? Everything has already been said in both the comments and info section.
You should learn to read and understand basic English before attempting to insult someone with the word "moron" you moron. O.o
