You can also do this on a barbell on a squat rack with the added benefit of being able to adjust the height. At home, you can also hang onto door handles if you have french doors, with this option you can easily adjust the distance between your hands.
This has been both a revelation and a mindfuck. I dont know what to think. I always thought I was good at dips, but based on this I can only get quarter depth without shoulders coming forwards.
I also have shoulder subluxation problems, so am worried about stretching/increasing the ROM in the shoulder for fear of destabilisation.
