I grew up around the the Santa Fe in San Diego,California. But one of the best places I have lived as far as train watching is concerned is Marion,Ohio. Not only did I have three railroads that crossed each other, but it also had an interlocking with a working tower(Marion AC tower).Plus the old union station was turned into a museum,we had a model railroad club and a nice little resturaunt at the end of the parking lot(the Shovel Lounge-best fried Boloney sandwiches).Thank you for your kind words.
