I crawled out from under my rock, and found some wealth statistics (if you can do math) the top 20% of people have 93% of the net-worth in the US. 80% of the people share only 7%. a CEO get an avg 36% raise, when an employee gets 3%. We still give tax cuts to big businesses, and a billionaire is only taxes 10% more than a teacher.

Nice to see Al woke up to give a speech. I looked for the budget bill he submitted last September when th Dems were in control and I couldn't find it. Seems if you wanted to get what you want you would put forward your own budget when you were in charge. Get over it.

And please recall that the Republican in the Senate promised to block any budget the Democrats pushed forward. They were arguing that they have won the most recent election and a lame duck Congress shouldn't pass anything, so they would filibuster.
