This is the cleverest and most poetic satire of our age I've ever heard. Much here for those who listen... JT continues to remind me of the power of the gentle hand.
@Jazzticism You said it, friend...he's a far more complex man..Taylor has always been a "thinking man", what with his beautiful lyrics, and his chords and that incredibly sweet harmony?? Lord...how does he consistently come up with these
He is amazing, and I have LOVEDD him since college back in the late 60's and early 70's. Was fortunate enuf to see him this past summer perform with Carole King. What a night that was!!
@Whodisdeya Same here. I am probably dating myself with this reference, but here goes. I remember running around the living room when JT was on Sesame Street, so excited, yelling, "Mom, it's James! It's JAMES!" because somehow it just seemed wrong for her not to hear him singing too. Guess I was a fangirl even back then. ;)
Love JT.

Love James Taylor. One of the best singers I've ever heard. Never heard a voice as pure as his.

I would love to sit down and have a good long conversation with this man.
There is so much more to him than his music, I'm sure of it.
James Taylor has my respect x
