This game blows so hard. You say combat is not that much of a problem, its horrible. Use fucking tab to select not direction....fuck this game. Hard as fuck with its crappy combat. Quests come randomly and there difficult to finish do to the crap that goes into the playing of this game. That trap shit pisses me off and the pause button you use in combat is crap and slows down combat at a weird rate.

I didn't like it, stopped playing after a couple hours. The combat was clunky, gameplay too linear and the looting system was terrible. There was lots of other things that set me against this game but overall I think I am just too picky.

Second Witcher is an awesome game, yet it is (imho) way to short. First Witcher was a game for good 3 weeks, while this one is doable in one weekend. On the other hand, it's still longer than most other games nowadays.

Combat in TW2 is far far better then Fable or Dynasty Warriors.

Where you could just button mash in those games (especially Fable 3, no depth at all and very easy) in TW2 combat is much more in depth.

If you try to just go in and button much you'll die, and die often. You have ot make use of your dodging/blocking as well as your signs and traps. IT all adds layers into the combat that thos eother games do not have at all.

The combat is getting more intense and really branching out from the Quen / Dodge / Backstab combo into more blocking and parrying is a lot more fun

Of course alchemy has its uses but nothing like hard mode in the Witcher 1.

With the different skill trees to use, I'm sure that combat will be more interesting with the other ones as well

@basukua Combat is amazing. It's just really, really difficult to get used to.

A mixture of using spells, traps, and attacking will get you through battles easily.

Although it does take a while to get used to, it's very rewarding.

I beat the game a few times, and it's really not that complicated, lol.

The ONLY way I see that you can complain about combat is if it lags. And that would be a problem

on your end, if your PC is strong enough. Because The Witcher 2's combat needs some pretty good timing.

Trust me, I fucking raged when fighting certain monsters on the harder difiiculties. But it was still damn fun. I like playing games that challenge you.

@Oliper666 You opinion i guess. I loved the 1st witcher, but the 2nd? installed played for 2 hours, got bored with the game, annoyed with all the bugs and flaws... uninstalled. Bioware is still the king of RPG's in my opinion. They have better story, they have better characters, they have better gameplay in their games... the only thing the witcher 2 wins is in complexity when it comes to crafting and visuals. Again it's my opinion you don't have to agree with it.

@rocky740 Blade and Soul is not an f2p game. Also I played the Korean betas of both Tera and Blade and Soul and I have to say I am disappointed by Blade and Soul. It is highly instanced based and lacks action in the gameplay and is very much instance based. Like GW1 you get the feeling of being alone out in the open world.
