Great movie, but I suggest people to read more history about China and Martial Arts because people tend to think Bruce Lee or IP man is the best men in the world. All respect to Bruce Lee but Wushu and Shaolins wich Jet Li portrays is something I prefer. The begning of it all is much cooler.

@ehllieszer Sure, if those 10 people don't know how to fight at all and can't work together. Just because someone is a "master", doesn't mean he can fight against multiple opponents well. Fighting against multiple people require a different skill set than fighting a single person.

@SmyPainintheass What's this secret Shaolin technique you're talking about? Even when I watch videos of a real Shaolin deal like Shi Dejian, the techniques he uses are most for one-one-combat. The only way to fight against 10 people is if they are horribly inexperienced and you have godly footwork and positioning. Regarding Chi, from what I've seen firsthand, what a lot of people call Chi in martial art is just body mechanic and structure.

The ending also says that Ip Man's rebellion led China to win the war against Japan. Well what happened to the US involvement and the atomic bombings. Ip Man was in fact a policeman and did not live a comfortable life before the invasion and sitting around doing nothing.

"Enemy at the Gates" had a showdown between the Russian and German sniper when they did not encounter each other at all. In Fearless, Huo Yuan Jia never had a showdown between that Russian boxer/wrestler. MOVIES AREN'T DOCUMENTARIES! Directors use creative license because in the end, they need to make money from the film.
