in one of his interviews Fedor said he knows that his 31-1 winning streak is just for a while. anyone can win in the ring/cage. he admitted that. so dont think we are smarter than him when he it comes to fighting. he def knows more about mma than all of us. so he very well knows that someday he will lose and he is very honest and humble about his victories. i think he will accept his defeat and move on to next fight. thats Fedor.
Everybody does lose. But honestly, I cannot see him coming back from a loss to say a Fabricio Werdum or Allistar Overeem (God forbid, if it were to happen). The bottom line is that Fedor is at such a high level, that if he were to lose he'd be smart enough to accept the defeat and that he isn't the best anymore. He'd move on.

Don't get me wrong, I love Fedor. To me, he's the be all and end all when it comes to Heavyweights in this sport. But, honestly, a lot of guys have said it above all else he is a humble down to earth warrior. If he were to lose to anybody I don't think he'd have that same hunger. in one of his interviews Fedor said he knows that his 31-1 winning streak is just for a while. anyone can win in the ring/cage. he admitted that. so dont think we are smarter than him when he it comes to fighting. he def knows more about mma than all of us. so he very well knows that someday he will lose and he is very honest and humble about his victories. i think he will accept his defeat and move on to next fight. thats Fedor.

Everybody does lose. But honestly, I cannot see him coming back from a loss to say a Fabricio Werdum or Allistar Overeem (God forbid, if it were to happen). The bottom line is that Fedor is at such a high level, that if he were to lose he'd be smart enough to accept the defeat and that he isn't the best anymore. He'd move on.

Don't get me wrong, I love Fedor. To me, he's the be all and end all when it comes to Heavyweights in this sport. But, honestly, a lot of guys have said it above all else he is a humble down to earth warrior. If he were to lose to anybody I don't think he'd have that same hunger. To him he's doing this MMA thing to have some fun for awhile. and if he were to lose, it would sap that fun. So he'd retire.

Actually Fedor is about 100 kg and his opponents are usually 110-120kg. I Practice Jiu jitus and when i meet a guy who are heavier than me it much harder to submit him. Weight and power its very important. Rogers was much heavier and younger than Fedor I respect him for his win. A tru legend.!

If you think Fedor was "in trouble" in this fight you are insane. Rogers hit him in the nose unblocked and it barely phased Fedor. Fedor was on the ground taking punches from this "great striker" and the entire time he was clearly attempting to get into position for an armbar. Rogers is not in the same league as Fedor. There will be no rematch bc there will never be incentive for Fedor to fight him again. Rogers was an afterthought. Fedor will fight Werdum or Overeem next, destroy either of those and he will have taken over yet another fight league. After the fight, Rogers was yelling into the mic about being "hot!" & he "def wants a rematch!" forgetting that there's no reason for a rematch: he will never hold a belt and Fedor destroyed him once, what's the point?
