Sorry about the delay in responding - I think you must be allergic to some or an active ingredient in some of the products you are using. It may be a process of elimination and starting from fresh. Trying using non-perfumed makeup and hypo-allegenic products and keep a log so that if your skin improves or flares up you'll have an idea. It could also be a food allergy - so bear that in mind and follow the same process of keeping a log. Good luck.
May I make a suggestion regarding your uneven skin tone - have you even thought of trying shea butter as a moisturiser, in its natural state, to see whether it could improve the unevenness? I would suggest using the bain marie process to soften the shea butter and applying it overnight to avoid attracting too much dirt and other pollutants during the day.
@ella7903 I used raw unrefined shea butter, but it hasn't done nothing for my skin. People tell me that they think my skin has lighten, but that isn't what I want; I want even toned skin. Do you have any suggestions? I don't want to use alot of products on my skin, but I want one overall color
Are you wearing sunscreen? Hyperpigmentation is caused by sun damage. Even though I have medium to dark skin, I have pigmentation on my forehead and around my mouth.
i also have hyperpigment thanx 4 the vid, mines actually came from acne scars i had so many on my face small, big &medium spots it was really bad.but it's all over now doa..
Thank your for sharing this with us hyperpigmentation is a huge problem, however I noticed how when you apply the products you massage it into the skin using downward strokes, this causes wrinkles you should be using upward storkes and circular strokes to avoid an even bigger problem.
@4thEast09 What did the Tea Tree Oil and Aloe Vera Gel do for you? Does it lighten dark spots and blemishes? ...What do you guys recommend for clearing away blemishes on the back?
Please try Neutrogena's total skin renewal starter kit. IT WORKS!!! A little expensive, around 30 dollars. I suffered from eczema and HOT Las Vegas sun which caused hyperpigmentation. I thought there was no hope after using skin bleachers and dermatologist products. After using the Neutrogena starter kit, my skin is pretty much back to normal after about three weeks. Remember, SUNSCREEN
I, too, have hyperpigmentation (dark spots in areas all over my face). I'm glad you mentioned the Serum! I've looked at it a few times in Sephora but the reps never seem to know much about the line... I'll ask for a sample and see how it goes! I'll let you know! Thanks again!
RETIN-A or TRETINOIN, trust me this stuff works. It peels off the dead layers of skin. You could also use a brightener/lightener in conjunction with this to stop the over-production of the melanin cells.
@niniM4k3UPxP3RTiSE try to use olive oil! it works! i swear, i stop use something else than soap and olive oil (morning and evening), my skin is perfect yet!!!!!!
I have combo oily acne prone skin. I recently had a really bad breakout from using proactive and it left really dark acne scars on my chin and jawline. i started using Black Opal acne system, acne bar, pre fade bar, and fade gel. Great stuff and great results.
i noticed a difference in 2wks. i got mine at cvs and i think it was 7.99 or 11.99. just make sure you sunblock if you are going to where during the day.
yeah girl. combination skin, is satan =[. hehehe. but no, I haven't tried the whole Rx system YET, but I L0VE the serum cause you can have like dry, flaky skin, & wake up & it's smoooothhhh :) but I will most definitely be picking up the beginners kit ($60).. I just don't know which kit to get yet :( cause there's 3 different ones... have you??
Lol a little longer than I expected but I'm diggn the music good luck !

if you put sunscreen on your face before bed it will just clog your pores

May I make a suggestion? Use a wide cotton headband to protect the hair line & keep hair away from your face.

I think that you have a very cute face. And i do notice the discoloration, but that's about it. so if you keep using the product it may take of that.
