That got 1st ? It wasn't bad but I've seen much better. There weren't many dynamics and it seemed pretty monotone. The girl did pretty much nothing when she wasn't being lifted.

okay so 34-49 is definately from beautiful by mia michaels but really, lots of choreographers get inspired from other choreographers and really its such a lovely floorwork section it was a smart choice to "borrow" it :)

oh my gosh newenergy obviously you've never made up a dance before typically you use combinations from other dances. You just dont pull them out of no where.

Cant you just lay off them and notice how amazing that dance was!

sooo, ummmm, did anyone else notice that this choreo is filled with SYTYCD routines? They "stole" from the mia michaels piece (I think season 3, with lacy, lots of flowers on the stage) and the desmond richardson piece with Katee and Will.

thats actually my studio it's called South Tulsa Dance Co. theres another dance that they do it's called Are We Human? If you want to see it you have to type in Human Talent On Parade to find it!

0:34 - 0:43 looks an awful lot like the "Beautiful" routine by Mia Michaels done by Chelsie and Mark on SYTYCD season 4....

this dance is BEAUTIFUL nonetheless.

Not only that, but the lifting sequence starting at 1:03 is very similar to the one done by Allie/Nico for their contemporary piece on SYTYCD Canada.

And then at 1:16 the twisting jump into his arms is all Travis Wall-esque. He did that jump with Jaimie on "The Best of SYTYCD" and also when they went on tour, he choreographed his own piece and did the jump with Natalie.

And at 1:20 it's the iconic jump from the Izaak/Kaitlyn Waitress dance by Blake.

Still, overall, well done.
