I can't stand when these calls are released. I didn't listen to it, but I never understand why these personal calls are released to the public. I know fans are curious, but it's none of our business..
That sucked. I wasn't his biggest fan, but I did like License to Drive and of course Lost Boys. And yeah that dispatcher did sound like an idiot. And they do take too long to get to any scene be it a crime scene or a medical emergency.
@TheCosplayProfessor the dispatcher should not have waiting until he send help... ( maybe he´s trying to calm her down, but he´s not doing a good job) Judy is very frightened and scared, and there ´s no way that she could´ve reacted any other way that she did. Poor mum, very poor mum... my thoughts are with you. Corey was so fantastic... Rest in Peace--angel face.... /( Sending kisses for you and my favorite singer who passed in 1998)
@WatchingQQ I agree we need another channel thats simalar to this one with less ads used to hit F5 and it would skip the ad this doesn't work anymore and that sucks
I didn't know corey, wish i did. we both were born in the month of December of the same year. I am 5 days older, that's it. this year he would be celebrating his 39th bday same with me, but he is no longer with us. Yes he was a major HEARTTHOB in the 80's but even though he had problems he is still a HEARTTHROB
corey haim never had any children, so you have to respect him a little more for that, rather than having childrens and continuing his self destructive ways like a lot of celebrities do and leave there children behind, he lived his mife for himself and did what he choosed to do, he knew the consequences, but behind all that he was a great man, unique, beautiful, and full of wisdom!
drug use or not.."celebrity" or not..he was a man. and he had problems. WE ALL DO. and we all know that. people judge so very easily in this world. even myself. I do know though that this kid is not any different than any of the rest of us. 80% of the world does drugs, "legal" or not.. "pro quid", or not. He was a decent guy. and he entertained a generation.
@zoemills242 It is very appalling. Very sad to hear this phone call. Us people here in the States like drama filled shows. Murder mysteries and so forth. I find that a real persons death is very heart wrenching to see. Not easy to listen to this at all.
@PearlJammer07 Okay I know it's 4 months since, but I'm new to UTUBE but I agree! When all our favorite actors are gone, like my last , 1 of 3 inspirations in my artwork was Heath Ledger! So missed but will always be thought of in my heart, need inspiration, and to just have something 2 smile about when we meet in heaven & my dreams.
i think it is bloody terrible that they broadcast these type of 911 calls.i mean for fu@k sake, this world is not content enough with having media and what not plastered all over the public eye that they have to get in on the poor lads mother making a phone call and trying to save her baby. this world is a disgrace.
@zoemills242 I agree with you. I mean really people want to listen to this heart breaking stuff. Thats his mom. I cannot imagine how she feels. I mean I know I was sad when he died, but to his family and friends...Ia m sorry for your loss. People makes jokes and gossip about it and its so sad...just because he was a celeb doesnt make him any less real than us.
@King2123 Jesus dude I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING! He sounded slow and uneducated. You get the sense if was on top of it it would of made a difference but I'm sure the ambulance was on it's way. Sorry to say but he sounded black.
Do they not allow paramedics/emts to carry portable debrillators? I never heard anythiing about one being used for MJ or Corey Haim. It seems like a no brainer.
I agree that hearing this call is heartwrenching -- as it was with Brittany Murphy's call as it was with Michael Jackson's call. HOWEVER, it has always been policy to release 911 calls publicly - not just those of famous people. It is done as a means of evidence to a) monitor what exactly happened and b) how the 911 operater handled the call. It is a necessity. It is not just for sensational purposes - there are other reasons. Don't act shocked. It's long been this way. Nothing new.
This is the sort of thing that encourages the kind of morbid curiousity thats so prevalent in today's society.
In my opinion CBS should not have put this up it's such a personal thing and must only add to the distress and heartbreak of the Haim family. It's shocking that this kind of thing is available to the public.
@zoemills242 Yeah it's very disgusting that they would release this call. I would expect more from CBS and other channels to show a little bit of decency. It's disturbing they would think this is ok. Fuck CBS and everyone who does think it's fine. You would think they would lead by example.
Please take this down. It's heartbreaking and should not be on the internet. I know you're looking for ad revenue but anything with Corey right now should do just as well. Please. It's just awful.
just goes to show you dont EVER call the police under any circumstances EVER, you see this shit they sold this tape, pigs are subhuman scum and they all work for a broken system and they dont care because their all mercenaries!! fuck em!
911 tapes are released like this all the time as they are public property. You can call 911 and then request to get a copy of your call anytime you want. You should never tell people not to call for help in an emergency.
The police suck! How can they release such a personal tape like this! All they can think of is that this was Corey Haim & he was a celeb! Yes, BUT, this was a MOTHER'S SON TOO! Corey was a human being!! I'm still shocked & sad as hell that Corey is dead. He used to be my imaginary b/f when I was little! I still have a crush on him & always will. RIP my sweet Corey. God will watch over you now. I love you baby!!!
as I said a minute ago ...... I agree with the morality of what you say, but the law is the law, and I am assuming that the department has no discretion on the release of the information and if in exercising that, would themselves be breaking the law. I wouldn't blame the department, i would blame the the architects of that specific law.
