I can't quite see the point in long term car rental. spending £300+  a month on something you will never own outright (I've had the same volvo for 12 years now) but obviously plenty can-I think Ling has done brilliantly.

Just to set the record straight, the bus used in summer holiday was not a routemaster. It was a regent type, the previous london bus.

Same as Boris and his new routemasters, they will have to change the name as the new designs look different and are bound to have different equipment and componants.

Wrong! RM/ RMLs aren't cheap and TfL won't have any. Ensignbus are out of stock so keep looking in Bus & Coach Preservation Magazine.
