First of all your GTR doesnt handle as well on the track as the BMW m3 does. because im guess this because you must have the R32 not the R33 as they are slower then the M3 and so is the R34.

2nd of all he has to go service every 20000km you have to every 5000km, shows you the engine is much better built the Rb26.

3rdly how can you say he paid 6 times as much, when the R32 GTR came out cost 150k for one. This when it came out about 160k, now there worth about 40-50k yours about 20k-50k aswell.

your gtr will probably break down 6 times faster too. its fun to piss people off with expensive cars because youre faster on the street, but if you want it to last longer than a month on the track,, you will probobly spend the same money on rebuild costs as you pay for a proper sports car like a M3 e46. I have owned 3 skylines.(not to mention the brakes,, '93 GTR brakes are identical to 1990 subaru imreza gt ones wich are absolute rubbish)

No - it really does under 5 relatively easily...

BMW official numbers are always conservative... Real numbers w/ good driver is always < 5 sec.

My 05 e46 M3 (SMG II) has ran 4.9ish (g-tech and other accelerometers confirmed) consistently.

The 2001-2006 BMW M3 can do 0-60MPH in 4.5-5.0seconds which is around 96 KMH and where did you get Austin Martin from?? With the 1995-1999 BMW M3's they Can do 0-60MPH or 0-96 KPH in 5.7Seconds for the coupe and 5.9 for the sedan and I know what im talking about so no one give me any shit I work at a BMW Dealer

Depends on how you drive it, getting the revs right prior to taking off is absolutely paramount, that is unless you use LC all the time by which time you'll burn out your rear tyres after 10-15 attempts, thus reducing any benefit of grip.

nme989, you are the noob here. Your comparison of the M3 and the Vanquish only serves to show how little you actually know about cars. The M3 does 0-100km/h in 5.2 seconds to be exact and is a naturally aspirated 3.2l stright 6 while the Vanquish is a 6.0l V12. That's double the cylinders and almost double the displacement. So, next time get the facts before you try make yourself look smart by ATTEMPTING to make someone else look stupid.
